No, not porn surfing. I have a friend who had a stroke; she lost the use of her right arm and has some problems with processing. Before her stroke, she really enjoyed WoW and remembered how to play, but has found it difficult to play with one hand since Cata un-nerfed the dungeons. Her other previous favorite games were all RTS like Starcraft and RoC, which she has found equally frustrating.

Can anyone out there recommend a game that wouldn't be too hard to learn and could be played with one hand? I tried her on Civ but the games were too long, the action was too slow and, I suspect, the learning curve was too steep. Maybe Diablo or Diablo 2? Something that I can join her online to play sometimes but that she could also play solo would be ideal. I'm grateful for any ideas :)

Also, you could look up Ben Heck. He's a well known electronics hobbyist who makes any sort of hardware hack for anyone who requests it. I've heard stories of him creating special controllers for disabled gamers. Just another suggestion, though that process would take a bit longer.

It's not specifically designed for this but it might help. I've been using a peripheral for years now that can remap the keys on a movable keyboard however you want. It's made by a company called Ergodex: http://www.ergodex.com/mainpage.htm The problem is they stopped supporting it after Win XP. The replacement lost switching keys or creating macros on the fly but I understand it is still a very good product and can emulate mouse buttons. It might help: http://www.chproducts.com/retail/mfp.html

I play WoW on my older machine strictly because the ergodex is still hooked up to it. Good luck to your friend.
