Id like to share one-liners to get a good grasp and totally use some good ones I had not thought of myself. For example, in Bioshock Infinite, Booker once said: "Guess every city got its fair share of fools." and I'm thinking: "So the Columbia has Justin Bieber Fans?"

That's one of the things I came up with, lets see what ya'll came up with.

And don't be shy to post, everyone is welcome here, this is a free and non-demoralizing zone.
I am the king of this topic and I declare: Let my people post one-liners...OR witty comebacks

Does muttering "oh, god, shut the fuck up!" every time Catwoman opened her mouth in Arkham City count as a witty comeback?

Oh come on, she wasn't that bad, was she? Or maybe I was just too enthralled by her derriere. Whenever I played Catwoman I tilted that analog stick reeeeeeeaally slowly, if you get what I'm saying.

No, she was worse. Like some committee of guys had sat down with the brief of taking everything ostensibly sexual about a woman while making her a "strong female character". That's how you end up with a walking pair of tits that meow a lot and spouts "witty" one-liners about how tough-yet-sensual she is.

She just irritated me, because apparently "strong female character" just means "total *****". You remember the part in the bunker, where she has the choice to leave Batman behind and escape or to go back and rescue him?

I left.

I got the non-standard game over, and then the game rewound time and told me to do it properly. Except I felt that I had, because she was such a complete and total shithead that I felt it was exactly in-character in that game for her to just walk away with the money and leave everyone to die. She was petty and vindictive, never seeming to care about others except for how she could use them, so I felt it was completely appropriate for her to walk away with the money and never look back.

I think this is mostly a problem with people - including devs and writers - mistaking Catwoman for a villain. She keeps showing up as a "Batman villain" when in fact she's OBVIOUSLY always been an anti-hero, tops. She doesn't have the makings of a villain. She doesn't kill, she has a pretty uptight moral compass. All she does is STEAL FROM THE BAD GUYS. But devs want to pitch her as a villain (really don't know why) so they come up with this bitchy routine of hers so we can forget she's actually one of the good guys.

Well, technically, she is a villain. She committs a lot of crime, at least historically, in between her bouts of flip-flopping from one side of the law to the other. I'm also pretty sure she kills plenty of people. She executed Black Mask, for instance. As for stealing from the bad guys, that's only if you have an extremely, extremely left-wing definition of bad guys which just means "rich people" - in the comics she's hardly a Robin Hood figure most of the time, she just steals shit because someone hired her to or for fun. She was enough of a criminal to be deported to Salvation with all the other villains, wasn't she?

That said, I'm one of those people who has never seen the appeal of her and Batman as a couple. I don't particularly like the character, whether she's a villain-with-a-heart-of-gold or a dangerous-snarky-anti-hero, because much of the time it seems that they're pairing her up with Batman just because she's there. Try as they might to give them chemistry, it never really works very well...

I have this thing where I don't really care if a villain gets killed. She killed Bane in TDRK, and that was supposed to be a heroic deus ex machina wasn't it, complete with the "I'm not so sure I don't like guns" one-liner for giggles. She killed Black Mask that one time in that one comic in that one timeline, I say: good riddance. I'm sure there're 30 other timelines where Black Mask is still alive, being an awful sociopath as always.

About the villainy... I dunno, maybe being the sexy thief in a pantheon of malformed psychos and mass-murderers doesn't quite cut it. She's not a villain. Not by the Batman cast standards. The day she tries to poison Gotham, or murder innocent bystanders, or trap every cop in the sewers, or detonate a single bomb in someone's face, then sure, she's a villain. If she sticks to looting Two Face's safe, whatever.

But don't you know? It's Catwoman's job to be sexy. And Poison Ivy's. And Harley Quinn's. And Talia Al'Ghul's. They're all such strong females, all obsessed with Batman and slutty clothing. I guess that's more of a problem with comics than with the game specifically, though.

I left with the money at that part, too, because I thought it was in-character for Catwoman, and wanted to see what would happen. Screw Bats, she had what she came for, and she don't need no man. I was a tiny bit disappointed that it gave me a game over, but I should have expected as much.

When fighting Spitters in Dead Space 3:
"I've got a spitter too. It's called a shotgun, you son of a *****."
I thought it was kinda badass, what can I say?

Do they have to be video game related? The best one of mine I can think of was a real-life scenario.

I was discussing video games / anime with a friend (I honestly can't remember which) during lunch, when a girl from another class sitting a little ways over at our table, apparently not fond of geeky pastimes, asked in an insulting tone "Do you have problems, or something?"

Me: "Yes. As a matter of fact, I've got one hundred of them. I used to only have ninety nine, but then a ***** came along."

I know it's not the best of lines, and it probably sounds a little corny, but I think it was pretty good for something thought of on the spot.

No, that was awesome and you deserve a medal.
