There's also this little word called "grammar". I don't know WHAT you said.
That actually looks pretty interesting. The rank and file still seems strangly unwilling to attack and the fighting game thing of people just standing there until suddenly they drop without any seeming damage.

Try spartan total warrior on PS2 I loved it. You were one guy who fought in huge battles and the controls were fluid as hell.

P.s Viking battle for Asguard is a lot like it just slower paced.

Yea it was good i used it as an example of a good game of the type in the first post i liked it so much. Last boss fight annoyed me though because i hadnt figured out that rolling puts out flames so i would lose about 1/3 of health per attack but once i got that even he was good fun.

The best level was the one were you and your huge army have to attack that big fortress. But the start of that level with the explosive repeater things was reaaaaaly hard.

The gates of staturn or something yea that was good although for the repeaters you usually just had to stay behind the rocks and blow up the two buildings.

I know I am being a bit unspecific but you seem to want to play hack and slash games. I'd recommend looking up demos and reviews for them and finding the ones you like. For some examples, although already mentioned God of War, Devil May Cry, Ninja Gaiden, Ninety Nine Nights(do demo or rent that first). Any other thing I can suggest is stuff like Mech games(Armoured Core) and maybe something like Ace Combat but I don't think that is what you want but it can fit the 1 v many.

PC or PS3? Damn, I'd have recommended Ninety Nine Nights if you had a 360. It's essentially Dynasty Warriors with any pretense of story ripped out and more guys to mow down.

Honestly, everyone bashes Dynasty Warriors for being the same rehash every year. I see it just the same as Madden, and if they want to come out with a new game every year then that's fine. They can do so because their formula is honestly the best.

God of War Series might peak your interest as well.
And you can't go wrong with Ninja Gaiden.
