I know we all get bored but seriously, just invite your friends around more often...
I think it's cause he doesn't have friends to invite over.
"For those of you wondering about now if I have any friends, I do. You can see me playing with them in one of my other videos."

Guess he does.

That is unbelievable. The man is playing all 4 instruments at the same time. I would have branded him a special kind of "suck", but he's playing all four fucking instruments!!!

Some hellova cordination this guy has. I could MAYBE play the one guitar, let alone four different instruments at once.

I can't work out whether to applaud or facepalm.

Kudos to the guy for effort, though.

I gotta say, that is pretty epic.

And I'm not surprised he was driven to such lengths to alleviate his boredom - he is from Utah, after all.
Thats exactly what I thought. I was like "I would say he has almost no life, but what else does he have to do with his time."

(I'd think he has no life due to the amount of time needed to spend doing this. I mean goddamn!)

Hey guys.

It's me, Alex (the guy who did this). I guess I'll say thanks for all the mostly positive comments I've had so far. Heh. I like all the Utah comments. Lol. Yeah, it's all right living here.

It was pretty crazy for me to see my video (that's been up for quite some time) being posted on a bunch of websites, just in the past week. I guess the right guy finally saw it and started spreading it. Lol. If anything, I would have figured the videos might have gotten popular around the time I was on the Spike TV special.

But as for the process, I would say it's not as hard as it looks. I learned how to do it over the course of an hour or 2 after first thinking of the idea. It's been a pretty interesting talent to have, and it still doesn't register to me that I actually got flown up to NYC and was on TV. For a freggin video game.

Because of the boost of popularity of my videos, I'm working on another one. It's been quite a long time since I've done this process. Heh. I am currently working on a video (to be posted sometime tomorrow) where I play Roxanne on Expert Guitar and Bass, Medium Vocals and Drums.

Thanks for watching, and glad (most of you) enjoy my video(s).

Even before I read the text I knew it was a guy from Utah. Something about that state.

Anyway, a comment from the guy made me wonder. Why is it when someone is able to do something really well the first comments are that the person has no life? Seems like jealous spite or just mean.

Hasn't he missed the point of rock band? I thought it was supposed to be a sociable group activity. Still, he's very talented, it's a very cool vid.

Not something I'd consider doing with my Rock Band controllers... that's a level of coordination I've yet to achieve though, kudos to him.

I love all the people with nothing nice to say about these music games. "Oh, that's a baby's toy. Why don't you learn to play a real guitar?" Well for some, it was a lot cheaper than a real guitar... and Amp... and Distortion Pedal... and lessons... and tabs.

Me, I've never been able to wrap my mind around the fundamentals of playing guitar. That and the fingers on my hand that would be used to move up and down the frets can't flex to reach the frets for big chords, believe me, I've tried. It's a problem with my hand, not the guitar.

I do "play guitar" on Expert in Guitar Hero and Rock Band though reasonably well. Dragonforce, Megadeth, and Yngwie Malmsteen force me to take it down to Hard though, I can't quite pull any of their songs off just yet.

I did play real drums once upon a time though. Don't have my kit anymore. Gave it to my uncle, a drummer for 30+ years, so he could give more aspiring younger people lessons. In how I played though, it was difficult for me to adapt to the Drum Controllers for the games because I couldn't position any of the drums separately and the unnatural feel of the Bass Pedal... plus I'm left-handed.

If my friends actually come over to play in Band mode, I'm usually left as the vocalist being the only one with an even remotely decent voice. Even then, I'll usually sit out for songs I don't know or don't like (most of them). My crowning achievement still is singing "Evil" by Mercyful Fate on Guitar Hero Metallica on Expert. Got 5 stars because, apparently... I can sing like King Diamond pretty well. (lol at my avatar)

Impressive talent, got nothing against the guy for pulling that off.

Although I am puzzled how he stumbled onto this talent unless he bought all the kit and then realized he has no friends to play along, or they just couldn't give a flying fudge sickle about the game (like myself).

That is quite impressive. Although I don't know how hard that particular song is, but if he can get it up to expert I will take my hat off to him.
