Okay, so I don't do this sort of "nerd crusading" often, but I feel this is actually necessary, so listen up if you have the time:

For those of you who don't know, Community is being cut during the midseason and if nothing changes, it's going to be cancelled at the end of this season. For those of you who don't know what Community is, it's pretty much the next Arrested Development: an inventive, genius, hilarious show that no one's watching and'll likely be unfairly cancelled. But if the ratings pick up or the fan response is powerful enough, they might just bring it back.

If you've never heard of the show, try checking it out on Hulu, I doubt you'll regret it.

If you've seen it but didn't like it, I totally understand, although some episodes are better than others and the first season took a while to take off. If you want some of the best episodes, I recommend Modern Warfare, Advanced Dungeons and Dragons, A Fistfull of Painballs, or if you want a more recent one, Remedial Choas Theory.

If you're a fan of the show like me, please get the word out and try to save this awesome program because it's criminal when stuff like this gets cancelled and crap like Whitney or Two and a Half Men survives.

So are there any other fans of the show on here? If you've seen an episode before, did you like it? Why or why not?

Yay! Stupid American companies make TV shows, refuse to show them anywhere but America first and then crash them instead of seeing if another country will enjoy them

I love this show and I'd love to see more of it. I had no idea it was being cancelled.

From what I have seen, I wouldn't compare it to arrested development. Not keen on it so far, but as american comedies go, unless it's slapstick, animation, or canned laughter it doesn't seem to go that extra mile.

I like Community a lot, would be sad to see it go. I was bummed to see Better off Ted die not long ago too.

It's definitely worth a look by this community(ha!...). It's full of geeky references and I love the constant homages to films.

When American companies do send over shows and movies, we hear bitching about American companies shoving crap down the worlds throat.

I've watched a few episodes and they were fairly decent. It didn't really do anything to stand out and isn't even close to being one of my favorite comedy shows, but I suppose it would still be somewhat sad to see it go.

Oh yeah. I was so glad to see it go. Seriously, that had to be the most unfunny, stupid, popular show I have seen this year (along with Friends, Big Bang Theory and Two and a Half Men).

What the fuck? I have never in my whole entire life heard anyone say such a thing. Ever.

Well, if you DO hear bitching it's usually because they exported the wrong stuff.

For instance, I feel that I speak for many English speakers outside the US when I say that I am perfectly happy to see more stuff like "Firefly", "The Sopranos", "The Shield", "The Wire", "Sons of Anarchy", "South Park", "The Simpsons", "Family Guy" etc.

And I am quite annoyed about the failure to export others, such as "The Boondocks", "The Tick" (live action version) thereby forcing me to watch them online or at great expense.

What annoys us are things like "Friends", "My Sweet 16", "Two and a Half Men" and fucking "NCIS". Seriously, that show needs to die soon.

On a more positive note, at least American firms are doing a better job of ripping- *ahem* "adapting" British shows of late. I have to say I preferred the American versions of "The Office" and "Shameless" to the originals and the U.S. version of Being Human doesn't look bad either.

What! That's outrageous! At the very least, they've got to let the show finish out the season. I need some closure, but it'd be nice if they continued to air it. Community is probably the only truly hilarious show on TV right now.

season 2 was really good, especially the paintball episode, and the D&D episode. season 1 was kinda weak, season 3 is pretty bad. theres all this drama now, seriously every episode of this season there is some huge blowup. usually involving jeff or pierce. i gotta hand it to them tho, showing how i may have found those people interesting, and how after a couple years they would have worn me down to the point of being completely sick of them. compare "Annies move" to "blanket fort" episode, serious downhill slide.

I love the show, and I was really hoping it would at least get to season 4 (each season is a year, so season 4 seems like the perfect place to try and wrap it up)

I sent a letter and a tube of paintballs to NBC to show my support. Beyond that there isn't much I can do, but I really hope the series doesn't get cancelled.

NBC already cancelled My Name is Earl (on a cliffhanger of all things...) I'm not sure how much more I can take from them.

I didn't like Arrested Development so I probably will not like Community.

However, I am not without taste. I cried like a little school girl when Futurama was canceled.

I love Community but never really got into Arrested Development. They aren't really all that similar show-wise. Just in current situation.

I suppose if Community DOES get cancelled, we can hope that they'll get a movie too.

He guys, don't feel too bad. At least Arrested Development is being brought back. That's something to look forward to right?

Never liked community, it was better than most american comedies but Arrested Development and Better off Ted kicked its ass by a million miles. It does annoy me how some companies seem determined to trash Tv shows ratings with inconsitant schedules and numerous hiatus's. You end up not watching it becuase you don't know when its on. Fox is especially good at this.

World, I fucking hate you. Glee is probably going to be around for another ten seasons minimum but a show this fucking funny doesn't make it. Clone High, Better Off Ted, Firefly, can just one show I like have a half way decent run? Heads up Whovians, I've recently gotten heavily into the good Doctor so I expect that to be canceled here shortly. Now if you'll excuse me I'm gonna go paint my nails black and listen to the Cure and never enjoy anything again.

I wasn't aware of this. Why does everything I love die!

I would support it if I could watch it in Australia, but as far as I can tell it hasn't come here yet. But I doubt higher international ratings would help anyway if not enough people are watching it in America.

How many years is a college education? 3 or 4 years? So the show didn't have a long life to begin with. It would be a mighty shame if it was cut short.
