I have your answer: GameFly! It's cheap, and it's easy. Me and my friends have been using it for over a year now. If you like a game enough to buy it, Gamefly will sell it to you for a significant discount. We have stopped going to EB and Gamestop because there is no point. Best of all, if you don't like the game or it turns out to be crap, you just send it back. No more buying crappy games and regretting it.
wow youve actually just sold me on gamefly you should be there sponsor

OK LET ME FILL YOU IN ON MY SECRET FOR GETTING NEW GAMES PRACTICALLY FOR FREE!!

ever heard of computer exchange (CEX) or game focus?? they trade games and electronics at original retail price whereas shops like GAME or HMV charge at internet price

method 1 requires patience but gives best results

1. buy the game online ... about 10 copies, then sell them all to CEX or game focus ... they will buy it for at least £15 more than you paid .. (but they won't buy too many so sell 5 at 1 shop 4 in other) then take your profit and go home

2. buy 10 copies in a mainstream shop instead of online

i did this with the Wii and got more than £200 profit

I'm glad I'm not into most of today's mainstream games. The fact that I'm planning to buy a whopping FOUR new releases this year (Empire: Total War and Sims 3, which I've already bought, plus Mount&Blade Warband and Hearts of Iron 3) and there aren't a lot of other games that are even on my radar screen (when I heard Haemimont was doing Tropico 3 I pretty much thought "crap, they've never made a good game in their lives"---where's Phil Steinmeyer when you need him?)...

Suffice it to say gaming hasn't been too much of a drain on my budget lately. Four new releases in a year is probably the most I've bought since 2004.

Don't buy Bioshock 2, please.

I liked Bioshock too much.
Well I myself was skeptical about whether or not Bioshock 2 will live up to Bioshock. But after reading up on some previews and watching a demo, I think it'll be worth the money.

right, TOPIC TAKE OVER TIME!!!

Do you think that mobile gaming has a future, what with the iPhone now being seen as a serious competitor to the PSP + DS? will other phone companies try (or re-try, in the case of Nokia) to tap into the gaming market because of this?
Naaaaaaaaaaw.

Well maybe. But the only reason it's a 'serious competitor' is because it has the Apple name on it. It'll never kill off handheld gaming, though...at least I hope not.

Games I plan on getting: Halo ODST (Preordered)
Tekken 6 (I might wait until I get a PS3, I've been thinking about getting one)
No More Heroes 2
Whatever that Milo Project Natal thing is

I might be getting one of the new FFs, but I don't have a PS3, which sucks because I really, really want some good JRPGs.

OP; So, you're complaining to us that you have to buy games because you are either are too nice or lack the intelligence to obtain them any other way? Boo Hoo.

dude i wasn't trying to sell or advertise anything ... this isn't even a scam ... it's just buying a game 1 place, selling it somewhere that will buy it for more, then using the extra cash to buy the game and keep your money

Wow, you got a pretty good amount of replies out of a simple statement: You don't have enough money to buy all the games you want this year. Luckily for me, I only want Edge of Twilight and Assassin's Creed 2. Also, I'll be buying Mount and Blade for my brother (instead of The Witcher. I'd rather buy that, but I'm putting other peoples' wants/needs ahead of my own for the time being, and my brother's birthday is soon anyhow.)
