4th Movement of the Odyssey - Incubus

Although all the movements should be listened to together to really appreciate it.

This is stupidly difficult...
Umm...
I grew up with punk rock and over the past few years have developed a huge love for metal so I guess metalcore represents both pretty well
Also, Killswitch are gods

This is stupidly hard for me to settle on as a love music of multiple genres, but i guess I'll go with "Vintage" by Jean Michel Jarre.

<youtube=6vGFR_bEV2A>

or "The last fight" or *Scream aim fire" by Bullet for my Valentine
or "Lets turn this back around" by Elliot Minoror
or "Famikon" by Crazy Loop

ortherwise i'd go with something closer to home that probably doesn't represent the genre as good as it should, but I still love it. "Fisticuffs on Frderick Street" by Toy Dolls.

Ok I'll shutup now.

Kinda drifting into to abstract in terms of how I see myself.

I try to not see music in genres but in what I like or not, So my favorite genre is whatever I really like this is one from my precious stash

I cannot really pin down one specific genre. I enjoy songs and bands that incorporate epic themes along with the Metal. Medieval battles, fantasy, that sort of thing. The use of orchestras and choirs great, but not necessary, having instruments such as the bagpipes, bodhrain, violin/fiddle, and flute is even better, and having male and female vocalists within the band is a huge plus. I cannot give one example to exemplify this, so I'll give a few behind a spoiler.

Representing Hard Rock;

I love the use of classical instruments and how they juxtapose nicely to the dual guitars , the fact that the drums are nicely varied, and the solo is amazing.

Representing Pendulum;

Can Pendulum really be defined by a genre other than Pendulum?

I don't want any Hold Your Colour elitists to come and kill me, so here's an equal pick for Pendulum;

Probably my favourite song of Hold Your Colour :)
