Joined way back in 2007. Long time ago. Have had many different accounts since then. Usually cause I took long breaks and forgot my account names. The only way I remember it was that long ago is because Yahtzee only had 1 page of ZP out at the time. Honestly, this site has changed a bit but I like the changes. The community as a whole is good. Still as fun as it was way back then :3

Joined a little under a year and a half ago, and didn't really post that much here...when I joined I didn't really have the time, as I was involved in a lot of band stuff. And during the summer I was almost always out somewhere. So it wasn't really until September last year when I started posting here in any significant frequency, as that's when I started getting free time.

So, even though I've been a member here for a while (and a non-member here even longer, following ZP and what not), it doesn't really feel like I've been here for more than eight months.

One year today I joined the Escapist. (Started visiting in 2008, but only joined the forum in 2010)
Its been one hell of a ride full of great discussion. Easily the best forum that I frequent. Almost troll free and an intelligent and mature community (vast majority at least).

So for "discussion" value. How long have you been here and has it been as enjoyable as I found it?

I have also been here about a year, a year and month more accurately though...

It has been awesome, it is an awesome forum, the only one I actually use often, to the degree that it has actually become a big part of my life and my routine. Yay escapist!

I started using the Escapist in Mid-2008. I started exploring the site early 2010, and I didn't even know this Magazine had a Forum. The second I realised it had a forum I registered, then I realised that you could Link up all your Accounts on other gaming/networking sites. Did that. And here we are, on one of the best Internet Forums ever to exist.

S'alright still. The new rules (or new new rules, whatever iteration they're on now) are kind of shitty though. I have no idea what they are, but I keep getting probated and warned and suspended - more in the last few months than the rest of my time on the site!

Got here when Unforgotten Realms came to the Escapist. Then I got banned from the UR forums for standing up against mods that would modify other people's posts for the fun of it. I love it here. Little to no trolling, very intense topics that make you question life, a base of people that play some of the same games, and for the most part most people are very mature. Sure, conflicts arrise, but usually both sides have valid points. I see more people saying "Oh man, this is gonna be a flame war!" then I ever actually see flame wars.

It's been good. I've met some lovely people, fallen out with some others. Watched people come and go. Enjoyed the videos and other content.
The forum is a lovely place, I don't think I'll be leaving any time soon.
