That is actually why I like Nin's series. Because I can buy a Zelda game and trust that I'm getting a fucking ZELDA GAME. It's the reason I no longer care about Final Fantasy. Who knows what I'm gonna get in the next installment? Don't get me wrong, SqareEnix made many great RPGs, but they shouldn't call every other one Final Fantasy, as they are COMPLETELY different from each other, save a few recurring names/themes.

Now, Nintendo could stand to make some fresh new series, they still have creativity on their side. But why would I hate them for giving me more of what I love? The quickest way to lose fans is to change what drew them in in the first place. You want to do something different? Then call it something different and establish a new fanbase.

No, the problem with nintendo is their over-reliance on their big franchises. Because when they start to fail, it will be the end of Nintendo. Don't stop making the games we love, but don't become complacent either.

Whether their platform innovation is a good thing or not is another matter entirely.

Nomanslander, the image spam really isn't necessary, and it got irritating by the second group.

As for Nintendo, I've never cared for them as a company (they've become way too cold and business-mind for a company that has almost as many franchises guaranteed to sell millions of copies than I do fingers; you'd think they'd lighten up a bit), but their support of acts like SOPA (which would cost them free fricking marketing, by the way, probably a hell of a lot more than whatever piracy loses them) proves they're as thick-headed as anyone, on top of it. I've gotten way past tired of companies that enjoy success becoming megalomaniacs.
