Well, it's always nice to have someone appreciate the... uniqueness of my voice. Truth be told, my entire family speaks like that.

It becomes a little more Northern when I'm among other Yorkshire folk, though. However, I'm still labelled the posh one.

I'm kind of glad though. A strong Yorkshire accent isn't attractive to have outside of Yorkshire

Tried just doing some vocal practice now and again? Warm your vocal cords up proper and move up and down through your vocal range to stretch it a little further? Voice cracks are mostly just about stabilizing, kinda trying to balance on one foot!

Yeah, I sound nothing like most people expect when I tell them where I'm from. Granted, if I get extremely high pitched, I can sound like I'm a cartoon character.

Your voice is rather impressive baritone wise. I sadly can't tell the accent by having no familiarity with English accentual residencies. If my ears didn't deceive me, I could've sworn I heard the barest hint of Scottish.

I too experience that, for me it's mostly a good thing when I do reveal where I'm from. Binnsyboy, should he listen to my voice, will more than likely have a good idea.
