I was kind of hoping ODST would be stealth based, then a slightly more open world would work perfectly. I was a little dissappointed to see that smeg all has changed between this and 3. They've even taken away your ability to use covenant weapons (just to annoy you Vrex) yet he still has a sort of shield (termed 'stamina')
Edit: Though the addition of firefight, as someone mentioned, is welcome.
You can still use Covie weapons. They took away the ability to use equipment though.

Really? I saw a video (IGN i think) that said otherwise. Maybe I'm getting it mixed up with dual wielding (I know you can't do that).
Whilst I'm on topic does anyone think this seems like an excuse to return to halo one gameplay? After all both duel wielding and equipment gone, that seems like taking away two and three's contributions right there.

Well first of all you prefer Saints Row 2 to GTA IV which from the get-go it, for me, describes what type of person you are. Second of all you're talking trash about a PS3 exclusive, InFamous, but seeing as your avatar bids that half-assed argument invalid I'm just simply going to say NO. In conclusion: You are a childish fanboy. Go away. As for ODST, I could care less about Halo 3. It is nothing but lackluster, in my book, in comparison to Halo 2. Gears of War 2, in MY OPINION, is a much better 360 exclusive title, reason being: It actually takes some skill, which is what I liked about Halo 2.
So, him having a Halo avatar automatically makes him a childish fanboy?
Nope. Him spontaneously talking trash about Infamous, with obviously invalid points in my opinion, and praising Prototype as the better of the "Two" makes him a childish fanboy. If he had played both he'd relize that the developers were going in two different directions. Besides that, as said above, he just pulls the topic out of his ass. He doesn't talk about how "Halo: ODST's" open world could end up being badly formed as is the problem is Infamous. Besides that I specifically stated that all I was saying was strictly opinion just so people like you don't respond with a spicy little comment. Looks like you didn't read either of our posts carefully.

Halo Skill, that's an oxymoron right?

Yea the first one was pretty fun imo the other 2 I mostly played for the story which just ended up being disappointing.
