We may be level headed about it over here, but sites like Gamespot and IGN have multiple threads of fury on the subject.

But yeah, as soon as I saw Quiet I know there's going to be some kind of sexism shitstorm.

Really? Is that theory actually a thing? Because the original Metal Gear Solid would have us believe they are two very different people for sure.

If you ever go to /v/on 4Chan (Don't) this is one of the common theories due to:

-They say he is found dead in MGS but you don't see the body and the info comes from an unreliable source.
-You have never seen Kaz and Ocelot in the same scene.
-Liquid in sunglasses tricked Snake into thinking he was Kaz so it may work for Ocelot.
-Kaz is introduced after Ocelot starts to idolise Big Boss, to get close to him he may have assumed a different identity.
-Ocelot is a master of betrayal and playing sides.
-They kinda look the same, especially in this where Ocelot has longer hair than in 3.

Some good points. However if Liquid wanted to use a trustworthy figure in MGS to lure/eavesdrop on Snake, then why pretend to be Miller himself when Ocelot could have done it? Unless he kept these two identities separate...

Then again, this is Metal Gear Solid and much stranger things have happened!
