Operation Flashpoint glitch - Hip Shot

Ive been having problems with OF... Now before you jump down my throat for wasting time, I have looked at numerous online game guides, none of which have helped.

I'm at the end of Hip Shot, I've killed all the enemies and gotten to the helicopter, but it won't leave... I've tried everything I can think of, and its driving me nuts!! All I want to do is finish this stupid mission and get on with the game.

Help?!?! Any suggestions?

It's kind of funny because no one posted in that thread either.

OT: Have you tried ordering your squad into the helicopter? It won't leave until they are all in. Try getting out of the helicopter then ordering them inside. It's what I do when they won't get in. They might be a bit stubborn sometimes and say that they cannot follow that order so just individually order the guy that won't get in.

Yeah thanks for the advice. I've tried that and it doesn't work - I must have died somewhere, and now only have 2 squad members with me instead of 3. Do you think this'd be why? Would I be better off killing my other two squad members and jumping in myself?

I've never gotten that far. I'm on the one where you have to rescue the people from the crashsite, and there's a gunship that never fails to kill me EVERY TIME. I hide in a building, as soon as I step out, boom, dead, start again. It makes me want to kill everyone at Codemasters.

Seeing as it is at the end of the mission, perhaps you should try killing the remaining squad members.

there is one option: report it to the team that made operation flashpoint and hope that they will make a patch that fixes that, and meanvile, play online

Seeing as it is at the end of the mission, perhaps you should try killing the remaining squad members.

After getting very annoyed with the game, I decided to restart the mission. The second time around I got all the way up too destroying the generator, when I encountered another glitch: walls were apparently no longer solid matter... I could walk through walls, shoot through walls, and at one point, threw a grenade in an attempt to destroy the generator (the c-4 would detonate, but wouldn't destroy anything) and inadvertently killed my squad...oops :s

Can you get patches for this kinda thing on the 360? Its really frustrating me that I'm not doing anthing wrong, it's the freaking game...

Can I kill it now please???
