I've been going on a Halo: Reach binge lately, and have always been a fan of Halo, and decided to start up a little RP. This time, the enemy is other humans instead of Covenant, so I think this will get interesting.
There are three spots available in this RP, make sure your character is a SPARTAN-III from either Alpha or Beta Company. No armor abilities, please, you AUTOMATICALLY get a jetpack because we will be in space. You can run and roll and dive out of the way of things, since we are disregarding all the stuff done for gameplay balance. Try to make your contributions around a paragraph or more at a time, and try not to be too action packed (since that actually tends to get kindof boring if overdone). Have fun!
In 2552, in the midst of a Covenant attack on a UNSC shipyard, Insurrectionist forces successfully hijack a Marathon-Class Cruiser - the UNSC Xerxes. The ship has a full complement of missiles, MAC rounds, and multiple Shiva nuclear missiles, which the rebels are sure to utilize against military bases. While this is a massive threat, the UNSC are locked in a fruitless struggle with Covenant invaders in other systems, and as such cannot risk sending ships in to pursue the stolen vessel.
Instead, Rapier Team is sent in.

Rapier team was formed in 2545, and has been involved in countless ONI operations since, both against Covenant and Insurrectionists. These Spartans were recognized for their superb genetic qualities (which surpassed SPARTAN-III requirements and met those of the SPARTAN-II program) and skill during training, and were deemed too valuable to be wasted on suicide missions (like the ones most SPARTAN-IIIs were sent on). These Spartans then received MJOLNIR V armor, and were eventually formed into Rapier Team. The team is led by Alec-A227, and specialize in extremely high risk operations.

Personality: While he is a brilliant tactician and thinks quickly under pressure, Alec is aggressive by nature, and his operations are marked by ruthlessness and extreme (sometimes excessive) force. He is willing to take calculated risks if the reward is worth it, and is ONI?s first choice when it comes to extremely dangerous operations.
Backstory: Born in 2520, Alec was orphaned during a terrorist attack (perpetrated by Insurrectionists) on the small colony world of New Brazil (home to the families of many UNSC servicemen), and shortly after was picked up by a UNSC patrol. He was screened for the SPARTAN-III program, and after his genetic qualities were found to exceed the requirements, he was conscripted. During training, his natural aggression found an outlet, and he soon became the premier hand to hand and knife fighter in Alpha Company, easily mastering complex techniques due to his quick mind and physical prowess. He also excelled in the usage of explosives. When training was complete, he was extracted from the program, deemed too valuable to waste on suicide missions (due to his superb genetic qualities), along with several others. After outfitted with MJOLNIR V armor, he spent long stretches of time operating both alone and alongside SPARTAN IIIs (and even several SPARTAN IIs), and honed his skills in countless operations.
