That's how. I mean all of the new generation is really bad, but there hasn't been a good generation since the first. The second had some really good ones but gen 3 onward and there is maybe a dozen good pokemon total.

Anyhow in the doohiky, thinking gay marriage should be illegal and marijuana should be prohibited. I don't like the dick and I don't smoke weed but I think its fucking stupid to not grant gay people equal rights or to let someone do a drug that hurts nobody but them in there own home. Also, the only reason that gay marriage is illegal is because someone in the Bible said so but in America there is supposed to be a separation between Church and state so what in the everloving fuck is that? Either way, they are both pants on head retarded opinions to have and anyone who agrees with them should have the stupid beaten out of there head with a rock.

I think he was showing how even a simple phenomenon that uses little more than Newtonian physics at a HS level couldn't be explained by the "Atheist spokesman" (quotes because i am an atheist and he certanly doesn't represent me), with that the other guy showed he could and does take a lot of things on faith, but somehow he thinks that God not exsisting is a "fact" showing self complacency and iracionality in his tought process (quotes because everything God related is just an opinion, mine just happens to be that there's no way in heck God exsist and it's a bit retarded to belive in it).

I don't understand the obsession with pre-ordering. I can see why the publishers do it, since they get a ton of sales regardless of whether they get good reviews or not. But gamers should stay away from them for exactly the same reason. And the bonuses are never worthwhile. By simply reading reviews and forums and spending your money on day 2 instead, you can get far more entertainment for your money by not buying shit games and getting a larger number of decent games with the money you save.

Jim Sterling and TotalBiscuit made the case against it pretty well, but when I saw their comments sections, there were so many people trying to justify their own preorder habits. I wept. It's like the gamer Stockholm Syndrome that TotalBiscuit talked about. "I preorder games and my decision can't possibly be wrong. Even when demonstrated to be wrong by Aliens Colonial Marines". So they just deny it.

I can't understand why so many Americans seem to fear free healthcare while defending assault weapons with arms and teeth (nothing against Americans, just stating a fact).

To shed light on it, many Americans (myself included) dislike the idea of national healthcare because it is, by definition, a socialism and this nation is founded on the idea of capitalism. I understand that sometimes you need something that is socialistic (if that is the right term) like a postal service where is it the government having a hand in providing a service outside of defense because, at the time of its creation, there would be no way for any company to do it. However, we can have privatized healthcare. Not to say that if a person can not afford healthcare we should let them die, however. If you are poor to the point where you can't afford to pay for your own health care you should be supported.

Also, in the instance of gun control and assault weapons its (for me) not about needing an assault weapon to defend myself from intruders (a nice 12 gauge would to just fine), it is to defend myself from my government. I am not saying it will happen any time soon (if at all) but 25 years down the road there might be a time were the citizens of this country revolt against the government. If that happens I want to at least have a weapon that would stand a fighting chance. Like I said, if this ever does happen it I don't see it happening for a VERY long time, but it doesn't mean it wont. Look at Lybia. Look at Egypt. The people in those countries aren't that different from you and me. If where I live gets anywhere close to as bad as they had it I would be more than willing to pick up my gun and fight for my freedom and I want to make sure I got the best weapons to do it with.

Oh, and BTW, you said free healthcare. That's actually not anywhere near accurate. Nothing is free, and if we didn't pay directly for each visit to the doctor we would be paying it through our taxes, not to mention a LOT of that money would be going to the national debt which is fucking enormous.

OT: The idea that sexual content is "corrupting the children". Kids don't pay attention to that stuff. They don't see breasts as "OMG, TITTIES!", they just see them as another part of the human body. This only changes when they hit puberty, at which point they will be thinking of this stuff regardless of how much exposure they had to it. There's a reason you can go back to a show you watched as a kid and go: "Wow, I never noticed all these innuendos".
The only exception is an outright sex scene, and even then it'll only be innocent curiosity (and probably a fair amount of disgust, considering how gross this stuff actually is when you think about it) on the kids part.

What the fuck are you talking about? I've seen breasts as "OMG TITTIES!" since I was 6 years old. I stole my older brothers porn magazines when I was 8 to see naked chicks. I was 9 when I saw my first porn movie and felt an exhiliration I'd never experienced before because I was actually witnessing sex. Puberty only made me way hornier. Either I was a bizarrely sex-obsessed young boy or you were oddly sexless as a child. I honestly don't know which.

I've said it before, but I do not understand the idea of `emasculation` at all. It grates at me, because I always had people telling me I was less of a girl because I was a `tomboy`, but that pretty much stopped when I grew up. But I still see grown men judging other dudes for liking `girly/gay/sissy` stuff. What kind of weak-ass man has to police other men for their manliness?

If being "manly" is considered a positive or necessary trait for men, then men are inevitably going to think less of men who lack that trait or do things that run contrary to it. It's like girls who think less of other girls for being "frumpy". I see that all the time throughout all age groups. It's really not that unique of a behavior when applied more broadly.

No, there is no argument. Not from you. From what you've told me, you've grabbed one bad pokemon and said "Thats all of them". Learn all 649 pokemon, and then tell me which ones out of all of them are ugly. And if you generalize, then I know by fact that you are wrong.

Without a doubt. Even the most die hard haters of all of the generations like at least ONE new one from each generation, and guess what, this is coming from a fan who has been around with this series since it hit US shores. I like the newer pokemon more than the old ones. My favorite generations alone? 2nd and 4th. Tied, I can't pick. I like all of the generations, but those two are perfect IMO.

Now then, report back when you've found a pokemon that you like that is from generations 3-5. And I can tell if you just clicked the first one and moved on. When you do report back, explain why you don't like them besides "Oh, there just ugly", and fine, I won't care. But not even bothering to look at all of them? Until then, you should be ashamed of yourself.

Why people hate on Origin even after accounting for the EA factor. It's not AS good as Steam, but it's pretty damn close in terms of UI utility. It takes better advantage of an internet connection for download speeds, and the only things I can say it needs to improve are the inventory and frequency of sales. Otherwise, I'm glad I have it installed.

I don't think too many people criticize its core functionality, it's more of people not wanting to download yet another service/program when they're already satisfied with having Steam and/or standalone copies without the need of registering for the service.

I haven't had personal complaints, but that's mainly because I keep my moderate laptop (by moderate, I mean it can run Half Life 2, but not Skyrim) for indie games, while the big boys go on my console.

It's really because they're both a crime against Nature. But Incest, for me at least, is just the most disgusting thing you could do. It's just a thing that I have. Having sexual attraction to a member of your own family is just so unnatural that it just goes beyond that line. I will say, however, that Cannibalism doesn't cross it as far. But cannibalism is far more situational. If you eat human flesh because you prefer the taste, you should probably be jailed. If you have to eat it for survival, and your odds of survival outweigh the other persons who you are going to eat, then I'd say you could justify it. But incest could never be justified. Not to me at least. Mainly due to those close links in genetics, and even the risk of having malformed, fucked-up, disgusting babies. It sickens me that anyone would ever put a child in that situ0ation.

But you finding it disgusting is not a reason to prevent others doing it; they have no need to 'justify' it to you, if it causes no harm. What society allows should never be the result of what people find distasteful. Take children out of the question (even though I'm pretty sure the risk of malformation is far smaller than society generally believes), because plenty of couples don't want kids.

As for 'against nature', millions of animal species are incestuous. It's not a particular taboo in the glorious kingdom of Animalia.

I get the impression you find it physically repulsive, personally, and are taking at face value certain moral arguments to back this up (unnatural, risks birth defects), when in fact those moral issues are fallacious or exaggerated.

I mean, I find the concept physically repulsive myself, but others may not.

I can't believe people still like Call of Duty. This isn't misinformed hatred, I've played every one of them since Modern Warfare. That one was good, I think we can all agree on that. Pretty much everything afterwards just kept getting worse and worse with Black Ops 2 being the lowpoint. Even the zombies mode, the one thing I unashamedly loved in the previous games was messed up!

The best part is that I realised that Black Ops 2 around the time that I clued into the fact that I was literally playing my 12-year-old brother's copy of the game.

You bring up some good points. But it's still absolutely repulsive. Your family is something that you love unconditionally, and that's where it should stop. Having a sexual attraction to someone who you are related to is just absolutely revolting. Yeah, it may not cause harm to me or anyone else, but it's the principle. There has probably been more than one case of inbreeding that results in a perfectly normal baby, but taking that out of the equation you still have something that is morally reprehensible. To bring up the Animals with Incestuous behavior argument I will put this forward: We have evolved to a state where we can make choices far beyond that of a Dog, Cat, Giraffe, ETC. We've evolved to a point where we have a moral code. Having morals is what makes us different from an Animal. It's what makes us Human. That's just one of the many reasons I find Incest to be utterly revolting. Because we should be past that by now. Millions of years of evolution has brought us to the point where we can distinguish right from wrong.

Also, I HAVE seen all of the Pokemon so your argument of how I should be ashamed of myself... stupid in concept and untrue in reality. Anyways, I can't read off all their names to you but I've seen pretty much all of the 649 out there. If I was going to give a good example one that comes to mind is Milotic. Not that its anything spectacular but the design is elegant without being to complicated and all over the fucking place and it follows the same concept of Magikarp i.e. extremely weak Pokemon evolving into a really cool one. A really bad Pokemon besides Garbodor? Luvdisc, stupid concept of having a hear Pokemon, bland and lacks any imagination.
