Two things are, apparently, happening: Extra Credits is leaving and The Escapist is hurting for cash. It may be that this is the best time, or it may be the Vicodin I'm presently taking is convincing me to do this, but I believe the space for a new, incredibly cheap show has arisen. First, a bit of backstory.
I'm a university student in my final year (Essentially majoring in game production, 3D modeling, animation, and the studies thereof,) and I am going to DM a D&D campaign every Saturday for the thirty weeks I have left.
I will record the audio of the room, edit it to whatever specifications I am given (X episodes of Y duration,) and animate the results using Adobe's wonderful After Effects and Photoshop software.
I will do this for ten US Dollars ($10) per hour of output. Not ten dollars of work, mind you, that would actually be an incredible sum which The Escapist needn't pay. I mean ten dollars per hour of show I produce. At ten minute episodes (Pretty reasonable, considering each session is around four hours,) that would be six episodes for ten dollars.
Again. Might be the pain meds from oral surgery, but that sounds like a pretty decent deal for Mister Escapist.
