Please Michael Bay, please just.....STOP.
Why does he even bother including the Autobots? The American Army seems to be able to handle the Decepticons by themselves.

He won't stop. Ever.

It amazes me the kind of criticism these movies receive.

To be honest a good portion of it is deserved (especially concerning the second film) but some of its just outlandish.

Optimus spent a lot of his on-screen time in "Revenge of the Fallen" CUTTING OFF DECEPTICON FACES and now people are upset just because he speaks in a harsh tone?!

Back on topic- I'm one of the few who enjoys the live-action TF franchise as mindless escapism so I'll probably see this.

As a side note, It's good to see that Shia will be screaming optimus's name. Again.
Let's hope we don't get a repeat of

'I'M NEVER GIVING YOU THIS ALL-SPARK!'

Stupidest line in movie history.

Honestly, I'm thinking highly of this so far, I really like this trailer a lot and it looks like they've made solid steps in the right direction. FAR less shakey cam bullshit as well which is a huge plus. It looks like they're going all out on this.

This is coming from somebody who absolutely despises Transformers 2, seriously, worst fucking movie I ever saw in cinemas.

What are peoples problems with this new trailer? Pretty sure you guys made your mind up before this trailer was out. I for one am going to give it a chance unless I hear some really horrible things beforehand.

Looks like shit.

This is just Battle for Los Angeles but with giant robots.

Plus, I can barely see the robots in the trailer. If they're not moving too fast for the camera they're covered by explosions, but hey, what can you expect from a director that is only rivaled in shittiness by Uwe Boll?

It was also rather awesome when he tore Starscream's arm off and smacked him in the face with it.

So much hate... I feel it flowing through me...

Why do every single one of Michael Bay's robot character models have to look like something that was rejected from the Matrix? If I changed the eye color, could you honestly look at a single one of those damn things and tell me which side they're supposed to be on?

Why would they include a single shot of Sam Dickpicky? Does Bay really think that idiot and his quest to nail empty-headed pretty things is central to anyone's reason for coming to see these steaming piles?

He's already raped my inner child on multiple occassions. He burned down my tree house, and put my dog through a blender. Why does he have to come back for thirds? What's he gonna do now? Take out my actual set of Transformers, eat them, then poop them out on the face of the girl I had a crush on across the street?

I'm kinda surprised how many people aren't frothing at the mouth with rage. MovieBob will be sad.

Also, I might go check this out with my friends over the summer. If all you want is a mindless action movie, well, I honestly think that Transformers gets that right. It's a guilty-pleasure kind of thing.

I think it looks ok. Anything's better than revenge of the fallen of course but I do like a good all is lost/last stand kind of a movie.

Oh christ. This might not be as big an insult to sentient life as Revenge of the Fallen was, but it doesn't look much better. All they need to do is throw in some robot genitals, add moronic blatant black stereotype-spewing alien robots, a couple of complete disconnects in continuity, and then some robot genitals for good measure. Maybe Optimus Prime could have a huge gleaming wang on his forehead this time around?

I think this looks awesome, I actually really liked the first movie and the 2nd one really wasn't that bad! I'm definitely going to see this in July ... my 1 problem is, Why is the series' catchphrase "OPTIMUS!!!" just being shouted by Sam, couldn't they use "More than meets the eye?"

Will they PLEASE just stop using that retard-faced LaBeouf and his love interests? He's annoying the hell out of me. I want massive robot battles in which people get blown up or trampled because they're weak and stupid.

I will so enjoy this movie just like the previous 2.
It are just silly popcorn movies. The leave your brain at the door and just let it happen.

By the way the space bridge looks great in the trailer.

Until the focus is no longer on humans and stupid one-liners, Micheal Bay will remain at the top of my "If you could off one person..." list.

It looks like some explosive fun. I'm not expecting much but I'll still go see it as it'll be yet an other entertaining summer blockbuster.

How did the second movie do well enough for a third? And why haven't anyone asked "Aren't there anyone who could make this movies that aren't Bay?"

Well, nice to see that Megan Fox got hotter...wait, new actress...huh...yeah, that works, I guess.

Seriously, though. Having only seen the first one, the films seem to have the same problem as the "Alien vs. Predator" movies. I don't care about the human drama, I paid to see killer aliens/killer robots/killer alien robots fight to the death...

The second film grossed more than the first, last I heard it was over $850 million worldwide. So while you get a lot of vitriol from actual fans of Transformers, from a business standpoint it was smashingly successful. Reminds me of a Yahtzee quote: 'Sometimes popular things are popular for a reason.' Michael Bay isn't going to write and direct an Oscar winning tour-de-force film, but in the genre of 'mindless summer action flicks' I doubt his resume can even be approached by another director.

I was able to enjoy the first two, and I'll be able to enjoy this one. Of course, I only expect to see giant robots and explosions. The story isn't what's drawing me in to see it.

That being said I look forward to seeing another director's take on the brand, one where hopefully humans are as powerless to fight the Decepticons as they were always shown to be in the source material.
