Character Yuko Jackson
Real Name: Yuko Jackson
Alias: Smoke and Mirrors (Smoke for short)

Gender:Male
Age: 17

Appearance: He is half Caucasian (mother) and half Asian (father). He wears black ninja garb while on missions, but outside of work he wears typical street clothes such as jeans and t-shirts. He has brown hair and bright blue eyes. Criminals when questioned after encountering him seem to dwell on the fact that they saw "floating eyes that pierced into their souls."

Personality: While on a mission, he focuses purely on the goal, but he loves to frighten criminals with his powers. Outside of work, he loves to have fun and hangout with friends. Movie-going is one of his favorite past times with action and comedies being his favorite. He never kills and believes all people should have the right to try to be redeemed and brought out of their criminal lives.

Alignment: Superhero
Superpowers: He can manipulate the senses of surrounding people. He relies on his enemies not knowing where he is while going in for a knockout. Smoke can affect sound waves to dampen his footsteps, can cause enemies to see doubles of smoke, and has a large arsenal of nonlethal weapons such as smoke pellets, flash bombs, and various blunt weaponry.
Weakness: He cannot take much punishment. Stronger willed adversaries can see through the manipulations. Heavily armored targets or robotic targets would cause most of his gear to be ineffectual.

Biography: The character was raised on the west coast of the United States and lived in a middle class neighborhood. He left for several years to live with his grandparents to go to a better school district. His father though would visit every weekend and they bond through his father teaching Yuko martial arts and various other tricks. Eventually, he traveled back to meet with some of his old friends after finishing his degree in psychology only to find that his old neighborhood was now a crime ridden hell hole with drug dealers, gangs, and pimps where ever the eye may turn. He later found his childhood friend Ben, but he had changed. He had gang garb on, with the V Street Bikers logo tattooed on his shaven head. When Yuko tried to wake him from his drug induced sleep, Ben lashed out at him pulling a gun threatening to kill his once close best friend. When Yuko tried to calm him down, he was shot but was able to get to a hospital. He then vowed to fight crime through the martial arts training his father gave him to make sure no one else would turn into Ben. After a year of crime fighting he later found Ben again and took him into his home where he was able to turn Ben into his ally gathering intel on gangs to help in future crime fighting.
No, I am not okay with that. If you'd like to make an RP, come up with an idea of your own. Don't just take the exact same setting and make another RP thread out of it.

An supervillain:

<spoiler=Morph>Name: Experimental Organism No. 17 (EXO-017 or EXO for short.)

Alias: Morph

Gender: None

Age: 2 (Artificially-Created Bio-Organism.)

Appearance: EXO, with its abilities can appear how it wants to appear. For now, it has assumed the form of an adult human wearing casual clothes. A lanky specimen at 6' 2" and 150 lbs with short black hair, green eyes and a blank expression. Its real form is a mass of flesh lacking any features, apart from the many tendrils it uses to ensure its prey, it has no eyes and relies on hearing and smell alone, unless to creates some for itself. Speckled across its body are faded dark green patches of chlorophyll - a remnant of when its only environment was a lab and had to use the light from the intense lab lamps and carbon dioxide to photosynthesis its only food. With the availability of other food sources, that function has atrophied to point where it needs to consume prey for energy. It has adapted to this predicament by developing a mouth with rows of sharp teeth. Other than that, civilians are quick to assume it is either a toy or just a lump of meat. Until it pounces.

http://th09.deviantart.net/fs5/PRE/i/2005/119/7/d/Venom_Magneto_crossover_by_DaveIgo.jpg

Personality: The majority of its short life spent in a basement, it doesn?t have much of a personality. EXO thinks on instinct and considers others to be either predator or prey, though with sentience creeping in, it is eager to study its new environment and assimilate information about the outdoors. Though it has found that it enjoys consuming others and assimilating their biomass and as well as the knowledge they hold in their minds (even if it does take awhile for it to sink in.). EXO hopes to be able to blend into human society while consuming the greatest minds and the greatest athletes to further its intelligence and physical abilities.

Alignment: Supervillain.

Superpowers:

Consumption Healing - Able to heal itself by eating biomass and using it to re-generate.

Biological Assimilation - Able to absorb the biomass of other into its own body.

Shapeshifting - Able to mold its own biomass into different shapes.

Weaknesses:

"Only So Much to Go Around..." - Cannot morph into forms with more biomass than itself.

"Don't Worry It'll Sink In..." - When consuming a person of noted intelligence, the neurons of that person will be assimilated into EXO?s brain, giving it the skills and intelligence that person had. However, it takes a large amount of time for EXO to process the information, about two months at best.

.
Biography: BioCorp, the leading scientific R&D company using its discoveries to aid mankind...for the highest bidder. Miles ahead of other companies and Dr. Fitzgerald knew it was, in part, because of his efforts. Letting in young interns into the company's secret underground labs, provided they had signed the Official Secrets Act and the numerous NDAs, of course, was the best idea he had in a while. New blood was needed in the field, and besides, who would the good Doctor have to groom as his successor? When he read the latest applicant's application form, a laugh broke out from his mouth. With his constant lectures at colleges and universities about needing new blood, here was the guy with the perfect name: Felix Youngblood. Aside from the name, the rest was also too good to be true. A high GPA, higher than most of the other applicants. He smelled a rat, but before calling down his fellow scientists to get a load of this one, he decided to amuse himself by humouring Mr. Youngblood and accepting the application.

Felix arrived for the interview and appeared to be a typical college boy - lanky, slouchy, with a whiff of neglect for his personal hygiene. Dr. Fitzgerald took a double-take, this was the brilliant student with the strange, yet appropriate name? He took him for a stoner who filled out the application for a laugh. But the boy?s references were real and quickly into the interview, Felix established himself as a person with a brilliant but obsessive mind fixated on Frankenstein movies and the ambition to achieve what Herr. Frankenstein achieved in the movies. The elderly doctor dismissed this aspect as just the scientific brain's fascination with life, the universe and everything. After all, didn't Charles Darwin spent years collecting beetles and butterflies before his Great Work? After that, the rest of the induction when swimmingly and Mr. Youngblood donned his laboratory coat and set to work with the company, with fair wages and an honorary degree to boot. Felix Youngblood became Dr. Youngblood.

Nevertheless, he soon was booted out for spending too much time on his pet project, to grow a new lifeform out of a test tube. Before he was officially fired from the premises, though, he smuggled as much equipment as he could, including the small cluster of stem cells he was working on. To fuel his efforts, Felix found some work at a black market clinic, where he was content to do as he pleases in the downtime where no low-life wanted to sell his ill-gained human organs. All was well, except the pet project wasn?t working out. After sixteen separate attempts, he was on the verge of giving up. Nevertheless, he started yet again with a new batch of cells. But the frustration didn?t go anyway. Felix found himself shouting at the cluster of cells to do as he told and even punched a cabinet in frustration, knocking a recently delivered brain into the gloop. His eyes widened as he saw the brain matter being absorbed into the cells. Overjoyed with his new discovery, he fed bits of other organs into the liquid that surround those growing cells. He fed more and more and it grew and grew. Until Felix had to get a reinforced plastic/glass blend cage to house it and its brain was able to think.

For Dr. Youngblood, a new joy had entered his life. For the newly conscious EXO-017, it was quite the opposite. There were never-ending tests and never-ending hoop it had to jump through for the petty scientist?s silly studies in the shady equivalent of his mom's basement. It was pathetic.Still, it bided its time, for about two years, to learn its new-found abilities and develop them. Every day blurred into the net anyway, with the indoor lab lamps constantly on and with no window into the outside world, EXO couldn't tell day from night, nor day from week. EXO learned how to use its morphing abilities as it morphed from a ball to a square to solve puzzle its master laid before it and to receive a reward for doing do of tasty meat. Nearing the end of its wait, it grew impatient. Scraps of meat just wasn't cutting it anymore, photosynthesis was becoming somewhat inefficient, and it was just plain bored of puzzles and pokes. Over a week, it grew vicious teeth and grim tendrils, it had an eye (well, smell) for a bigger prize. EXO could smell all the delicious biomass and intelligence in its master's body. It was ready. One day, Dr. Youngblood returned with his prodding stick, EXO took its chance and pounced, consuming poor Felix. But witnesses will say to this day, that a lanky guy in a lab coat, of Felix's description, walked out that door and never returned.

Other notes: It currently has the IQ of an eight year old. And I'm totally aware that this is totally science-fiction.

Has got to be the longest character sheet I've ever written. Constructive criticisms welcome.

EDITED: Ironed out the typos.

I'll put the bio up soon, the one I just wrote was WAY too dark.

Name: Robin Goodfellow

Alias: Skrow

Gender: Male

Age: Unknown

Appearance: His body consists of rags and hay, with bits and pieces of other things stuck inside either by accident or as weights. Skrow wears a tattered, crooked, wide brimmed hat, complete with a crow's feather stuck in it, on top of straw hair, and a filled burlap sack face stitched with a malevolent grin. When it's dark and when he opens his mouth, an eerie light filters out of the gaps. A noose hangs around his neck and is pulled tight to keep things secure. The rest of his body is covered in poorly stitched together rags that provide an almost cape-like quality. A crow or raven is always seen perched on his shoulder.

Personality: Skrow has grown to delight in the suffering and fear in others, and has developed a fondness for torture. Whilst his life necessitates that he must kill with his pestilent aura, he is not above dismembering with his scythe, or recently, stringing people up as sacrificial effigies, leaving them as nought but a feast for crows.
He sees himself as a necessary evil, sent to the world to reap the seeds of evil that people sow in their own hearts. Robin thinks this as ample justification for what he does, and that he is doing the world a favour by culling the herd.
When he is not terrorising the townsfolk, Robin wanders the countryside, having recently took up playing the harmonica.

Alignment: Supervillain

Superpowers:

Scarecrow Physiology - Being a Golem composed of mainly straw and rags, he is practically impervious from physical harm, as well as being immortal to the point as long as a significant part of him is still intact.

Corvid Manipulation - Skrow can command the aforementioned legions of birds to do his bidding, usually to blind his foes, although also to retrieve body parts, or even as a means of transportation or limited flight.

Pestilent Aura - Robin has become a walking blight, everything he touches or walks upon withers and dies, including both vegetation and animal life (including humans). The effects are far more instantaneous on vegetation however.

Enhanced Scythemanship - Capable of throwing forth blades of wind.

Name: Santi Marquez
Alias:
Gender: Male
Age: 32
Appearance: Santi has olive coloured skin courtesy of his Mediterranean origins, as well as light brown eyes. His hair is dark brown, fairly short and neatly brushed, without a hair out of place. Santi is fairly short at 5?6, and is lean, but not overly skinny.
When in public, Santi tries to avoid sticking out, and wears what he considers to be help him do so. Living in Manhattan, this happens to mean he often wears a suit, tailor made and stylish. His costume when performing his nefarious deeds consists of an all-silver suit. It is made of lightly armoured pads, made out of a special plastic polymer. Although it is all silver, whilst being used it takes the colours of its surroundings.
Personality: Santi feels that he is neither particularly good nor evil, although many others would disagree. Santi is not willing to do anything to get what he wants. He has a certain level of restraint that is not often present in his fellow super villains. His main motivation is that of greed, not vengeance or madness as many of his kin. Greed is his defining characteristic, and he has very little personality other than that.
He does not seem to have strong ties to any other human being, he doesn?t care for anyone. However, he is also not misanthropic, he doesn?t hate other people. Instead he is neutral toward them. He will not deliberately hurt others unless he really has to.
Due to the fact that he has very little contact with other people, he lacks many of the social graces of most. This makes it hard for him to fit in, and so he can not find favour by using charm. This means that he has to work alone, but this suits him just fine.
Santi has no purpose other than building his wealth and attaining more physical items.
Alignment: Supervillain.

Superpowers: Santi may be short and seemingly weak, but in actual fact he has long trained in various fighting styles. He can beat almost any untrained combatant in hand to hand combat. His real power is that he is a genius with technology. Although average in other aspects of education, Santi has an amazing ability to create high tech pieces of equipment and work with existing technology.
His most important technology so far is his suit. Using hundreds of tiny cameras and a special plastic he designed, it projects his surroundings onto his suit, forming an active camouflage that makes him incredibly hard to spot, especially to those not looking for him.
Weaknesses: Although a capable fighter, his low muscle mass and small stature means he is likely to struggle against stronger fighters who are also learned in the skills of fighting.
There is also a large weakness in his armor and camouflage suit. It is only lightly armoured, so it doesn?t absorb most most damage. It will deflect knives and small calibre weapons from a distance, but any high force impact will destroy the plastic casing. This has the dual impact of reducing his protection, and lowering his camouflage ability, as patches will no longer blend in, and the silver colour of the robes underneath the armour stand out even in low light conditions.
Biography: How was your character raised? How did they acquire their powers? I want a decent backstory with lots of details. I want to see at least three to four paragraps in the bio. More is better, but I want no less than three or four.
Other notes: Anything that doesn't fit anywhere else and you want to add about your character, put it here.

It's not finished, I need to add the bio, but I just wanted to make sure that the rest is okay, especially the powers.

version 2 of my villain concept, now with more backstory, and more weaknesses. I left the part about world destruction in, but to be clear: this is a long term goal and is hardly relevant. Most of the other characters will die of old age before she reaches that point in her plans.

I changed her name to Hell Queen - it sounds a bit better to me.

Name: Sandra Ghislaine Perreault
Alias: Hell Queen

Gender: Female
Age: 26

Appearance: Sandra most distinctive feature is her eyes. They are as sharp as finely-honed daggers and and as dark as her soul. Her hair is raven and her skin pale. She is a stunning beauty of rare form, dressed in the latest business fashions from Paris. She wears a bright red business power suit - custom made - that accentuates all her assets - both physical and monetary. Though she is more of a "behind-the-scenes, mastermind" type of villain, if forced into a fight (with adequate time to prepare), she dresses in a skin tight cat suit, covered in dark symbols that betray the source of her powers. She likes to have a glass of french red wine from her family's villa in her hands.

Personality: Sandra is a a megalomaniac, misanthropic, manipulative, monster (alliteration!). She dreams of her goal, and will stop at nothing to reach it. Sandra's goals are as simple as they are sinister. She wants to conquer the world and make it bow before her. She will rule with an iron fist, controlling every aspect of it then, when she is old and dying, she will end all life on it in a torrent of hell-fire and demons called forth from the depths of the abyss - simply because she cannot have it forever. Sandra is willing to sink to any depths to achieve her goal; having already made a deal with hell, she has no moral quandaries to stop her. Sandra has a powerful temper when enraged, but reaching that point is difficult. She is normally calm, cool, and collected under even the most intense heat. At heart however, Sandra is still the scared little girl fighting out against the world in desperation - not that she will ever admit to such a truth (even to herself)

Alignment: Supervillain
Superpowers:
1) Hell-fire: Sandra is capable of summoning fire from the darkest part of the abyss. The fire burns a combination of black and red and ripples with unnatural power. Like any flame, it burns the body, but unlike the more mundane variety, it also burns the soul - eating away at the mind of the target. It can cause nothing but pain and suffering.

2) Wealth: Sandra is a wealthy business entrepreneur, supplying military goods around the world to nearly every nation through a thousand different subsidiaries. She doesn't care about who wins the wars using her technology, she just wants to keep the world unbalanced to maintain her leash on the worlds powers.

3) Intelligence: Sandra's IQ was last measured at 186, higher then the year before. While she doesn't know much about technology or science, she is a master at politics, economics, business, and organization. This allows her to mastermind schemes with effects reaching around the world. She knows how to act through minions and lieutenants, keeping her hands hidden and clean, no matter how many time the bothersome heroes get in the way

Weakness: Sandra's fire powers are called upon by emotion. While calm and collected, her powers are at their weakest, but when enraged, her powers are stronger. This is a double edged sword as she isn't as intelligent with her powers when in such a rage. As such, her ideal battle form is angry, but not overly so. If she can be calmed or further enraged, she becomes weaker (by having less powerful flames or using them less intelligently per the direction of emotional change.) One easy way to do this is to attack her emotionally using knowledge of her father to enrage her or her own inner personality to weaken her resolve.

Though her flames are hellish in nature, and therefore not subject to the normal solutions to fire, she is still human, and suffers from all the normal human limitations. What more, if she uses them too much, she can begin to lose control over them and burn herself - hell is nothing if not fickle.

Biography: Sandra was born the Perreault family of France, famous for the quality of their wine. Her mother died in childbirth, and her father never forgave her for it. Taking to alcohol, Sandra's earliest memories are of being beaten mercilessly by her father in a drunken rage. Her only friend was her nanny, Claudia, who cared for her where her mother obviously could not. That is until Claudia was killed while Sandra watched at the age of 9, and her death covered up by her father's money. Sandra called out for help many times, but her prayers went unanswered. Until she turned 15, the beating continued endlessly.

At that point, Sandra took matters into her own hands. Sandra, using a hundreds of years old book she found in her family's library, prepared a ritual - killing her father by drowning him in his own wine, and using the sacrifice to summon a demon from the abyss. She forged a pact with the demon: she would either destroy the world, ending all human life, or her soul would be theirs upon her death and in return she would be given the power to make it happen. The demon smiled and agreed.

Using her fathers wealth and influence as well as her own looks and intelligence, she built a powerful corporation - Transys-Technology - to provide a means to her end; and the end of everything. She began by buying out failing military suppliers; extracting their assets, and shackling them with any debt she had incurred in their purchase. Needless to say, such a strategy could only work for a short time, she she did it as quickly as possible to gather capital, then changed plans: by taking control of a weapons producer. Using the technical assets from her many early purchases, she was able to form weapons for the modern age - ranging from the most advanced jet fighters to the most simple of handguns. She used this profit to pay off the debts of the few surviving original companies, which she transformed one-by-one into secret subsidiaries she could use to sell her weapons to different suppliers around the world.

Finally, to keep the public eye distracted, she gave enormous sums of money to many humanitarian causes (from AIDS research to PETA) keeping her reputation as clean as a whistle. Combined with the escalating fighting in areas around the world, no one thought of Transys Technology as even the slightest threat.

Thus ended stage one. Now she intends to subtlety push the many nations of the world toward global world, while publicly denouncing the very same action. When the world is on the brink of chaos, she intends to starve the "aggressors" of their weapons and ammo, making her seem as if a hero to all. She will parlay this power into political influence, until the world is covertly under her command.

Well, I suppose I'll go with this idea in the end for a sheet.

Name: Joseph Mander
Alias: Gale

Gender: Male
Age: 26

Appearance: Joseph is reasonably tall standing around 6'2", he is very broad at the shoulders but is moderately built otherwise. Joe's hair is a dull russet color which he has recently shaved to a buzz cut though he is also cultivating a well trimmed goatee. Joe's facial features would probably be described as sharp; his cheek bones and chin are quite pronounced and the general shape of his head is rather long with a high forehead. Joe's casual cloths are usually rather unremarkable other then his tendency to wear vests since they are easier to modify.

Joe's current hero outfit includes a light blue X shaped harness as well as padded shoulder and thigh pads. Joe protects his identity (as much as he can) by wearing a full face mask with goggles that are also blue. Also, Joe wears a pair of metal gauntlets with a number of small cartridges under the wrist. (see other)

Of course one of the first things that is often noticeable about Joe is the large pair of wings that sprout from his shoulder blades and back. Joe's full wingspan is almost 12 feet from tip to tip and the wings are covered in light gray bird like feathers. In normal life Joe usually keeps his wings folded behind him where they are still obvious from the side or back, but only somewhat noticeable from straight ahead.

Personality: Joseph's personality is rather average all things considered. He is usually very easy going, often just accepting people as they are rather then expecting anything out of them. For himself Joe can be rather lazy when he doesn't have anything to do, quickly willing to lay around and rest rather then be constantly active. However, when there is work to be done Joe dives into it with a great deal of focus and determination. Joe's motto is 'work hard relax hard'.

Joe also has quite the sense of humor as well often making wry remarks and finding the humor in most circumstances. Joe barely even reacts anymore to anyone who comments on his wings (everybody does) since they have been a part of his life for so long. On the other hand, Joseph will be the first to admit that he's no genius, but he has a very low tolerance point for true stupidity when it will effect others.

Alignment: superhero
Superpowers:
Flight: Joe's large wings and strong back mussels can provide sufficient lift for Joe to fly quite well. His normal top speed in straight flight is around 25 miles per hour and he has a surprising amount of maneuverability for his size. Joe can carry around 100lbs of extra weight while flying before his performance begins to suffer.

Enhanced durability: Joe's skin and bones are slightly tougher then a normal persons. His doctor has theorized that it's to help resist the forces involved in flight.

Air manipulation: Joe has a limited ability to telekineticly cause bursts of wind or shift currents of air. The major purpose of this ability is that Joe subconsciously shifts air to improve his ability to fly allowing for slight boosts in lift and maneuverability. However, when he is focusing Joe can also create sudden small blasts or vortexes of air. Joe never developed this ability much, so they are rather weak, but he can somewhat empower them by beating his wings in time (meaning he can't fly while doing so). Joe also can't control air that is already moving fast or violent.

Joe has always joked that his true super power is his super sense of smell. His nose does have above average sensitivity, though not to any unnatural degree.

Weaknesses: Joe's flight is a truly natural extension of his wings, same as a bird, therefore it suffers all such limitations. An injury to either wing, or a loss of a number of his feathers will ground him; flying in too tight of quarters is near impossible; taking off from a dead stop is difficult; and Joe is strongly affected by adverse weather conditions.

Another weakness of Joe's is water. The feathers on Joe's wings are not water resistant so soaking them completely ruins his ability to fly until they dry out somewhat. More dangerous though is when completely submerged Joe's wings weigh him down meaning that swimming is near impossible for him.

A unique challenge for Joe is also the fact that his wings are near impossible to hide. His only real option is to put on a over sized long coat which results in him only looking like a freakish hunchback and is also very uncomfortable.

And don't even talk to him about molting season.

Biography: Joseph never know the parents who gave birth to him, having first grown up in an orphanage. At the age of 3 though he was adopted by the Mander family, a couple living in New York City who couldn't have children of their own, and Joe believes that it was the best thing that could have happened to him. Absolutely no one could explain why, at the age of 5, a pair of feathered wings suddenly grew out of little Joseph's back in the span of a miraculous month. Fortunately Joe's parents were nothing but kind and supporting as Joe grew along with the strange appendages.

His parents couldn't shelter Joe from the world however and some of the other children were quite cruel to Joe about his differences. However, time passed and the wings failed to disappear, and over time even the miraculous became mundane. Eventually Joe stopped being 'that freak with wings' and just became 'Joe, who happens to have wings by the way'. All things considered, Joe had a surprisingly average childhood and school life earning a bachelors degree in accounting and marrying his collage sweetheart.

Unfortunately, everything couldn't be perfect, When the research company that Joseph worked for went bankrupt he was left with no way to support his family that now included his one year old son. It was then that one of his friends mentioned the Seraphim adds. Joe had always been aware of heroes and villains (he was even occasionally mistaken for one), but had never thought of himself as one at all. On the other hand a paycheck was a paycheck. So Joe threw together a costume, stepped up his daily workout, and applied to be a superhero.

Other notes: When out heroing Joe wears a pair of metal gauntlets that spray a fire retardant foam from the wrists. The gloves are a prototype of firefighting gear from Joe's old job; they were never approved for mass production and Joe won them in a bet.

Joe's mother passed away 3 years ago, but his father is still getting around, though he is retired.

Hope it's good.

Edit: Leveled up to around Lv.5 New power and weakness unlocked!

Name: Paul Vanson
Alias: Freight Train
Gender: Male
Age: 21
Appearance: Paul is 6 foot 8 inches tall. He weighs nearly three hundred pounds which is not so much muscle of fat as bulk. He has black hair and blue eyes as well as fair skin. Due to his extreme love for what he now does he nearly never wears street cloths of any kind. He much prefers to wear his costume. A black jumpsuit with the image of the front of a train across the front with an image of the rear of a train across his back..
Personality: Paul is a kind individual to the average man, but he has little remorse for villains. He is a man of average intelligence, but he has an appallingly bad sense of humor. He will laugh at just about anything and due to his love for B action shlock he is more than willing to throw out an awful one liner every now and then.
Alignment: superhero
Superpowers: After running long enough for him to build up speed he runs in excess of one hundred and twenty miles per hour. He can run through static objects as though they are not there, but anything moving or living will slow him down, however his momentum should do considerable damage.
He is more durable and strong than the far majority of people.
Weaknesses: While he is considerably more strong and durable than the far majority of people he is not quite superhuman in those aspects. So if anyone with super strength who manages to hit him, it will do very considerable damage and that goes for any other super power as well. Ice is what he is most vulnerable to. It will cause him to get off balance and in all likelihood fall.
Biography:
Paul was born the son of David Vanson who was a moderately famous biochemist and Susan Lawson who was a columnist for the local newspaper. Paul was born with severe health problems and was well below the average height and weight. These three things troubled him for much of his life. The hospital was nearly a second home for him. He passed the time by reading comic books and watching old action movies starring the likes of Bruce Willis and Chuck Norris. After Susan Lawson died from lung cancer, David began to work on a project made to take his sickly pint sized son and turn him into a great athlete. Paul started to fade after his various health problems worsened after he reached high school and David had no more time to test the chemical he had created.

He injected his son as he lay asleep in the hospital bed. David stayed at his son?s side until he finally succumbed to exhaustion. When he awoke nearly nine hours later his son had grown almost one and a half feet. He called the doctor in and they saw that all of Paul?s previous health problems had vanished over night. Thankfully Paul merely became a tall tale around the hospital due to no one seriously believing the doctor.

Over the next few years James honed his new found abilities with the help of his father. David thought about mass producing the chemical, but he realized it would be disastrous in the wrong hands. Paul designed a superhero persona for himself based on all of the comic books he read and the action movies he watched as he laid in the hospital for all of those years.

Paul feared that if he exposed himself to the general public the criminal element of the city would attempt to kill him in his sleep or when he least expected it. When he saw an ad for Seraphim he packed his bags and said his goodbyes to his father. He was finally going to do what he had always dreamed of.
EDITED. Several typos fixed and powers altered slightly. Shouldn't have written this at nearly 3 a.m

Here's mine. Haven't done the biography yet, I'll be back when I get something I like, just putting this here for a check since I've never done something like this before.

Name: Thomas Mercer
Alias: Smoker

Gender: Male
Age: 28

Appearance: Tom has short platinum hair, not quite a buzz-cut, but not quite long enough to do anything with, and he has a bit of scruff. He has pale skin compared to his peers, but he isn?t an albino. He has hazel eyes which tend to change based on the weather; blue-green for clear skies, green for a light drizzle, and brown for a downpour. True to his alias, he is always smoking, usually just a cigarette, but he can sometimes be seen with the occasional pipe or cigar. He enjoys keeping up with current fashion trends, but tends to prefer a more ?old-school? or perhaps even ?cockney? approach, so nothing too fancy. Just a nice pair of skinny jeans, a nice tie, rolled up oxford, brown leather driving gloves, and a double-breasted vest; plus he wouldn?t be caught dead without his checkered newsboy hat.
When he is in costume, he doesn?t want to stand out any more than he has to, plus, it helps to blend into the smoke, so he wears various shades of grey. A top-half face mask in charcoal helps to hide his identity, while the multitude of leather belts and straps help hold his various weapons/tools. He sports a shoulder cape, and a hood adds even more secrecy to his outfit. He has leather armor to help protect himself from physical attacks, but nothing too heavy to restrict movement. Underneath the armor is a full body spandex suit, but with a multitude of smoky swirls and splotches, somewhat reminiscent of a Van Gogh painting.
Personality: While Tom believes that he has the ability to pick up any woman he chooses, they rarely swoon for him. He thinks a bit too highly of himself, and pictures himself as a sort of ?Prince of thieves?. This leads him to do things that aren?t necessarily within his grasp, but more often than not is still somehow able to pull them off; which certainly doesn?t help his ego.
Regardless, he always does what he believes is right, and will never knowingly harm an innocent or unarmed opponent. He may be a bit of a fool, and might not always think everything out all the way, but his heart is in the right place, and honestly believes that there is good in everyone, no matter how vile they may appear to be.

Alignment: Superhero.
Superpowers: Tom has the ability to manipulate smoke, but not create it. This means that he can increase the volume of smoke, decrease the volume of smoke, and manipulate the density and direction of the smoke. However, the range is fairly limited; anything outside of about 3-4m is pushing it and he will start to lose control. The smoke itself isn?t a terribly effective weapon, and if inhaled isn?t any more lethal than whatever source he used to generate the smoke.
In addition, he has the ability to transform himself and anything in his possession (clothes, weapons, etc.), for a short time, no more than 10 seconds. While he is in his ?smoke form? He is not invisible, the smoke is fairly thick and is easily spotted, and anyone who sees him transform won?t automatically lose track of him; however, due to the nature of smoke and since he can manipulate it, he is able to move fairly rapidly, and any physical attacks made on him will not affect him. This power is fairly taxing however, and cannot be done very often without severely tiring Tom out.
In addition to his smoke powers, Tom is a fairly gifted gymnast, and has trained himself to be rather stealthy when he needs to.
Weaknesses: As mentioned above, Tom doesn?t have the power to create smoke, so he must rely on other means of creating smoke. Also, strong gusts of wind can ?disrupt? his physical form, and force him into his smoke-like state, at least partially. In addition, he is rather fragile, hence the need for the body armor, so he cannot take much more of a beating than any regular human unless he is actively dodging by changing his body to smoke.

Name: Santi Marquez
Alias: Phantom

Gender: Male

Age: 31

Biography: Santi was born in Madrid, the capital of Spain. His parents were very poor, making money in any way they legally could. He spent much of his early childhood begging for money to help support his parents, whilst they worked any odd job they could get. Eventually his mother, Maria, was given a tip that she may be able to find work in England, as an au pair, which had suddenly become fashionable in London and other rich parts of the country. For a month they had to live on bread and water whilst they saved enough to move to London.
Having moved away from their poverty stricken lives in Spain, the Marquez?s hoped they had finally found a way to earn a comfortable living. For a while, Maria earned enough money to live a decent life. Maria looked after children for wealthy socialites during the day, and Paolo worked at a bar during the night. Sadly the relative comfort of their lives did not last long, when the recession hit.

Both Paolo and Maria lost their jobs, and Santi went back to living a life of poverty. Even worse, they were now in a foreign country, and did not have the same right to benefits they had back in Spain. They had nothing, and were soon kicked from their small flat, forced to live on the streets. Knowing they had no way of raising their 11 year old son, they left him at an orphanage.

Santi was too young to understand what was happening. He never saw his parents again, and it crushed him. He saw that the way they lived honest lives led to nothing more than pain and suffering, and decided he would not undergo the same fate. He found it difficult to make friends at the orphanage due to his low level of English ability, and he became isolated. He took to the local junkyards and thrift shops and stole pieces of technology. Old computers and circuit boards. He found he had a real affinity for the broken technology, restoring it back to working order, and then selling it on.

He would convert old circuits into new logic boards and design new little machines. Mostly they were pointless and small projects, but Santi found enjoyment in the tinkering. Eventually he managed to find better hardware, and use it to make more advanced machinery.
Once he had left the orphanage he started his projects in earnest. He would steal from all sorts of places, learning how to steal from bigger stores and other people?s houses. He isolated himself from the rest of the world, living in an apartment he funded with stolen money, only leaving the house to get food or more computer equipment. He soon learned how to program and hack, and the still fairly newly invented internet became his playground.
Soon he managed to use his technological adavantages to help him steal more efficiently. He found he could design machines to knock out alarms, distract security, and eventually he even managed to master camouflage. Using a suit lined with hundreds of pinhole cameras and a special reflective plastic, he can reflect his surroundings in order to blend in with his environment. The suit is still small enough to comfortably fit under his suits, and have the added benefit of making him look more muscly than he is.

Santi decided he had had enough of London by the time he was 25, and decided to move to New York. It was a bigger place, with bigger targets. He loved the cold, calculating nature of the people in Manhattan, they ignored him and he ignored them. It was perfect. He started gaining large sums of money through various sources of crime. Robbing banks, hacking the stock exchange to buy cheap stocks and sell them high and a multitude of others, Santi had more money than he knew what to do with. However, he is never satisfied, and so he keeps on stealing more, hoping one day he would have enough to just live his life.

I hope this is okay. Let me know if there's anything I need to change.

Speckled across its body are faded dark green patches of chlorophyll - a remnant of when its only environment was a lab and had to use the light from the intense lab and carbon dioxide to photosynthesis its only food.

But the boy?s references were real and quickly into the interview, Felix established himself as a person with a brilliant but obsessive mind fixated on Frankenstein movies and the ambition to achieve who Herr.

I'm not trying to do the GM's job here, so I hope this post doesn't offend you Lambi, but: This character reminds me a whole lot of Alex Mercer from Prototype. The powers, not the backstory, but it seems almost word for word to be the Prototype virus thing in terms of ability.

Name: Terry Ulrich Miyazaki
Alias: Has no established alias, but when asked has provided a different, usually irreverent or mocking one to each separate person that asks. Examples include Lunesta the Good Fairy, Big Bad Fedora Man, and Kermit the Frog Gone Bad. Has been known to give more malevolent aliases to those who have irritated him.

Gender: Male
Age: 28

Appearance: Terry stands at 6'0 and 157 lbs. He looks very lean, and even gaunt. His skin is Caucasian, but his facial structure is very clearly at least Japanese in part. His eyes are constantly intentionally squinted, concealing neon green irises that rotate counter-clockwise. His features are quite sharp, with a catlike smile and a stance that suggests disarming civility barely masking seething rage. His wild, backwards-swept mess of bright green hair is generally hidden under a black fedora (or the nearest substitute). He wears a custom-tailored suit, what appears to be black fabric that is revealed to be a very deep green when light shines on it properly. The undershirt is a pristine white, and a black tie that he never bothers to actually tie hangs on either side of his neck. The suit itself, and its matching pants are tailored to allow a full range of motion, and the inside of the jacket contains dozens of hidden pockets concealing all manner of knives and blades.

Personality: Terry utterly despises all others. As a rule, he cannot bring himself to care for another human being. He views all others as tools to be used for his enjoyment or his plans. This, however, as led him away from the path of casual dismissal other heroes tend to follow. He believes that to make use of his tools, he must know them intimately. He takes the time out of his day to personally learn an understand everyone he interacts with.

He has a passion for screwing with the minds of others. He wishes to be unexpected, and will do anything that he can to remain unpredictable. He will hurt, he will kill, he will rape, he will even turn good for some time if it's what it takes to throw everyone present for a loop. He has plans of his own, but they are incomprehensible outside of his own mind. They have stretched from the moment he began his "career" until the present day, and it will likely be some time before they reach fruition. He is clearly working towards some goal, though the path is roundabout and the destination unknown to any passenger but him.

He has multiple hobbies to further his "understanding" of humans. He reads the works of philosophers, and crackpot theorists alike. Anything to get a peek into the psyche of another human being. He even goes so far as to write things of his own, to place himself in the mind of another person. This includes fanfiction of nearly every genre under the sun, and more often than others would care to hear involves his fellow superhumans.

Surprising though it may be, this was the more pleasant side of Terry. He holds a darker demeanor that is shown whenever his is sufficiently frustrated. He becomes mockingly sarcastic, delivering biting and cruel insults to anyone in the vicinity that has earned his ire. This is generally everyone. He loses none of his intelligence in this rage, but rather than subverting expectations he takes a sadistic pleasure in, just in those little bursts, being precisely as evil as everyone expects him to be. No crime is too heinous in this mindset, because somebody in the area has earned it. And, hey, even if they didn't, it's fun!

Alignment: Supervillain
Superpowers:
- Implanted Suggestion: If he maintains eye contact with a human for three seconds or more, Terry may place a hypnotic suggestion in their mind detailing a set of instructions to be carried out to the letter at a later date, upon his uttering of a code phrase known only to him. Whether it be through phone lines, or on the television, it will only be activated if they hear his voice saying the precise phrase. Upon activation, the victim's mind is subtly influenced so that it believes that the instructions are the best, logical course of action to take at that moment. It is less an invasion of a mind as it is a subtle poisoning, which makes it deviously hard to detect and fight against. Particularly since the victim would need outside information to even suspect the thoughts were not their own.
- Inhuman Agility: Terry possesses a speed and flexibility that no average human can hope to match. He moves in bursts that are fast enough to blur when viewed by the naked eye. He is able to use this in conjunction with his impressive skill with knives to attack in unorthodox, unexpected patterns and directions. He is quite capable of free-running, and generally takes use of his heightened speed and reflexes to put distance between himself and his enemies in a fight.
Weaknesses: Terry's Implanted Suggestions are able to be detected by the victim if they have reason to suspect they've been implanted with a suggestion. This makes them significantly easier to resist, as the victim is on-guard towards any strange thoughts or courses of action. He is also, while quite fast, also quite fragile. He is no more durable than the average human, and will break and bleed like any other when a solid blow is made.

Mentally, his match can be found by anyone that finds his pattern. Once a person understands his thought process, they are capable of figuring out the courses of actions he will take by reasoning as he would, and determining what actions at what times would create the biggest shock. Terry is unable to break from these patterns for long, and such knowledge would level the playing field in long-term battles of wit.

Biography: Terry was never a normal child. His parents, a Japanese-American businessman and a 2nd generation German immigrant historian presented him with all the trappings a young boy was expected to posses. He shunned them all, in favor of dolls. He collected dozens, and crafted environments to live in. He controlled them, and acted as though their struggles and pains were real; and by God did he enjoy them. He developed a viciously cunning intellect early on, often goading his friends and classmates into stupid stunts or various actions to suit his own purposes. He was a troublemaker throughout his entire time in school. Teachers hated him, both for his unruly behavior and the fact that even when they caught hi, he somehow managed to talk them down.

What none of them knew was, his mother had held a terrible secret for most of her life. When pregnant with her son, she came across an ancient tome, said to contain some of the earliest writings of mankind. What she found was a grimoire of terrible power, that contained the secrets to the very innermost working of mankind. She gleaned a tiny sliver of this knowledge, but it was not passed to her. Instead, it went to her unborn child. Terry possessed the peak of human athleticism, and the gaze of man who yearned for all he could see. He used that to his fullest advantage, turning simple bets with friends into complex plots to profit him to the tune of hundreds, even thousands of dollars.

When he was sent off to college, he found an entirely new playground. College professors and self-assured freshmen, all vindicated in their worldviews. Perfect toys to play with, perfect toys to break and toss aside when he was through. Terry left behind him a wake of emotionally tortured individuals, professors whose entire worldviews crumbled as they felt themselves irresistibly swaying to his words. Drunken fratboys waking up beside corpses, swearing their innocence as the police dragged the away.

But alas, Terry found himself bored. He wanted more excitement, a greater challenge. He looked towards superheroes. Now there was an emotional trainwreck waiting to happen. If he became a villain, came close to these so-called "super" humans, he could give them a taste of what it meant to be completely out of their depth. He took to the streets, knives in hand, and began a spree of chaos. The crimes were varied in their severity, but ultimately did not matter in any way. Their only purpose was to draw in victims. Terry sparred, physically and verbally, with anyone he could find, slipping in suggestions throughout their battles. By the time the fight was over, win or lose, Terry had himself a puppet just waiting to be brought to life.

The only question that remained as the years went by was, what precisely did he have planned for the any puppets he had never activated?
