How is the fact that my troops need to be told to pick up new bullets from a crate standing next to them when their gun is empty somehow my fault? For that matter, what did i do wrong so those idiots don't run behind the wrong side of a wall when shot at?

When a game prints the words REVOLUTIONARY ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE on the box, i expect some form of basic competence among my units that doesn't rely on me babysitting each and every one of them. There's a difference between careful micromanagement like making sure sticky grenades to to the correct tank or using abilities at the right moment and pointless chores like telling every single dumbass on the field to stuff a new magazine into his gun every 5 seconds. MoW falls into the latter category.

Why should i go back to a game i never owned the platform for? To me, you seem butthurt and are trying to justify a purchase by talking down everybody who agrees with your subconsciousness.

Because I can send my tanks out into the middle of the field, and watch as they score kill after kill while not even being in my line of sight.

Hell, I JUST did it on multiplayer.

Because the other side is too stupid to equip one of the 25 anti tank weapons in their inventory instead of running around with empty pistols. Now try getting to load more then 1 AP rounds in a row without interference from you.

Honestly what do you expect? its a VIDEO GAME.

You are not reading what I'm posting at all. My gripe with the AI is that despite being touted as independent, they are the biggest bunch of retards in all of rts gaming. A battalion level commander doesn't run around the entire front telling individual soldiers when to reload. There's a reason that SoaSE doesn't force you to specify in what order you want the weeds removed when building something on a planet and that's because it's a completely pointless chore, just like tabbing through all available units and hitting the reload and medkit button without looking what they are actually doing.

I'm not bad at it, I've finished 2 of the campaigns on hard before i quit. I don't like it because of the completely useless and flowbreaking gimmick of having to manage every single soldier yourself. There's also the issue with tanks apparently thinking that "use AP shells" is a one time order and that they should switch back to HE after the first shot no matter what they are fighting, whether it is a lone officer with a pistol or a king tiger. And the horrible squad grouping that cancels itself the moment you try to get more then 8 soldiers(or 2 crewed tanks) move somewhere with any speed at all. Or the fog of war bugs that causes soldiers to be invisible until they are in rifle bashing range(with both parties standing on a concrete plaza). Did i mention the voice acting already by the way?

Again, why should i buy an xbox and halo wars when i have no desire to play anything on it?
