I was 9 and my sister got a computer, my sister let me use it sometimes but she told me to make a yahoo account, I came up with the name "xboxkid931" I stuck by that name untill I found out about Steam I was 14 when I found out about Steam.
I left my old name and came up with "elitepie931"
At 15 I found the escapist and used Elitepie931 as my username.
My Steam name is no longer elitepie931 tho, Its "Not_A_Spy" now :3

I typed the first thing that came to my head. When I made this I fully intended to make a single post only.

I used to be in a band with this kid who would call me Captain Rob (my real name is Robert), and I kind of liked it, and addapted it to Cpt Rob for gaming. But in somewhat of a fluke, I accidentally made the use of Cpt Rob impossible for my xbox live account, so I switched it to Kpt Rob, and adopted the same name here on the Escapist.
I made it about a year and a half ago, at the time, I was a mortal kombat fan and a gun enthusiast, and so I stuck with it.
some people don't understand mine. "kokiri forest" and a soldier from there... I thought people would put 2&2 together. Along with the Link pic. Hmmmm?

As for mine, it was something that I started going by in 7th grade, derived from my actual name, Daniel Michaloski. 7 years later, I'll still use it for lots of stuff, but I have a sneaking suspicion that I may be getting sick of it.
