Not to get confused with E.A. Origin, or Batman Arkham Origins, or any other bloody thing that has the word origin in it. It hasn't received that much hatred surprisingly and is there a reason for it? I know that the comparison of AlienWare will come up, but they seem to be a company that is 'pro-consumer'. I'm asking this cause I'm thinking of buying one of there mid to high end towers and there really flash etc.
I can easily build a PC, but I'm not saving alot of money.
The set up is essentially to run BF4 to mid to high end setting, on 60FPS+.
So what are your thoughts?

If you wish to spend your money on a pre-built PC, then go ahead, ya crazy diamond.

Origin PC is good, from what I hear. All I know is that they offer a PC with a console jammed in it, so it's too rich for my tastes.

I have an OriginPC laptop. Had it for a little over 2 years, with some time in Afghanistan. This laptop has held up better than damn near everything I've ever bought in my life.
This one time, in country, this dude comes to me with a messed up laptop, hoping I could make it better for him. I pull out the hard drive and connect it to my laptop using the adapter designed for external hard drives. My laptop comes up with a message like "This storage device seems to be broke. Wanna fix it?" And it did.

Anyway, yeah, I'd recommend Origin PC to anyone who will listen. No, it's not cheap, but you can pretty much guarantee a product of (almost) unequaled quality. Zero bloatware, too, the only software on your rig is what you want on it, right down to your choice of web browser.

I've always built my own PCs. You get to pick out exactly what you want for the build and it's usually more budget friendly. Your best bet if you're a techie like me who is really picky.

However, nothing beats a warranty and tech support if you run into weird issues. Your call.

As long as they have the option to cut off some fat, they will usually try to sell extra shit that is of no use at all and it can easily add 100-200 to the end price.
