Still making all the exact same mistakes I listed in your Ys review I see. Seriously you should try editing it and not having it be some fusion of a review and a bad lets play. The whole "and now you see the dino going to hit me" parts aren't good. If you can use it to illustrate a point like when you pointed out how fast they were moving. Also was I missing something with the jetpack since I only saw you use it once or twice. Try this as a general rule. Only do a review when you have beaten the game or have gotten very good at it otherwise you will be missing a lot.
Believe it or not, that was the only footage I could get, this game was buggy as hell. I give early reviews so there's no way I'm going to beat the entire game, there is a market that wants to know if a game is good or not and see some early footage and then make a decision. I agree I need to work on my editing and I need to stop describing what I'm doing, it's a bad habit I've picked up while let's playing.
I thought it was an alright review, as far as improvements go it needs to be more refined, as someone said above, use editing, (though it would be understandable why this would be hard to get footage for) improve the flow of your words so it sounds less like it was made on the spot and other assorted tweaks to get it polished, but I did like the review
As far as the game goes, I think I read somewhere that there was a large patch planned for this week, who knows what it will fix but hopefully it doesn't end up becoming another case of a game being ruined because of bugs

Well for the footage thing I understand but you shouldn't rush reviewing just to get it out there first. People want informed opinions not rushed opinions. I'm fairly certain so many people wouldn't so angry about the ME3 ending if it was actually mentioned in any of the reviews (they would also be less angry if those same reviewers didn't go out of their way to insult them). If you are trying to stop the describing then fine I'll say no more. Still you should try scripting it to some extent and you really should finish the game for what I already listed. Being the guy who rushed a review out to be on the first day won't help you be a good reviewer at all. I'm going to be subscribing to you again to see if you will be improving later and I do hope you will.
I understand what you're saying, but I don't really have time to beat every indie game. How about this. I work on editing, then scripting, then doing a more thorough review. That seems like a logical progression. I must agree with you though, even for my reviews, which are usually alright, this one is bad.
could you send me a couple reviewers that you enjoy listening too, currently I try emulating northern lion who doesn't even really do reviews. I'd be happy to watch a bit of whoever you like.

The first one does ok reviews but doesn't always give good background information though in terms of humor he's probably the best I've seen.

The second one honestly doesn't have too good humor but he prides himself on research and accuracy so his videos are very informative. However while I can recommend all of Razorfist's reviews easily since they are all on the same level in my own mind many of this guy's are hit and miss so I'm just going to direct you to one of his newest.

Also yes he's trying to do his own localization movement and he's using Operation for it's name. I asked him about it and he wanted to invoke the spirit and message of the original campaign. Not to mention the game before this one is one of the most influential games on the SNES with many games taking inspiration from it from Temple of Elemental Evil to Dungeon Siege 3.
Also a quick note. Ever hear the saying "You are the worst judge of your own work"? I've watched a few of your reviews now and they all have the exact same problems. Them all sounding like let's plays, not really being too informative, etc. Also I saw a comment on your Ys review telling you the same thing I told you. You really need to beat the game before doing a review otherwise you aren't helping anyone. In Ys The Oath of Felghana Adol starts getting more abilities later on and you didn't mention any of them because you rush in and just say what happens in the first few minutes. That's not a review that's just a quick uninformed first impression which are especially bad on RPGs. Also from many of the other comments you really didn't research anything on this. You are just rushing videos out with no quality standard in place. They aren't informing, you seem to be constantly distracted, if something goes wrong you don't actually rerecord it but just leave it there, it just all comes off as being incredibly lazy.

I agree that I shouldn't drop the "let's play style" but refine it with more editing maybe. I'll do some experimenting with my next reviews and see what I come up with.
