I play an absurd amount of games. Right now I'm on a TF2 binge, but soon I'm doing a HL2 (+Episodes?) speedrun using god/buddha so it'll be quicker. I'm going to attempt to do it straight, in 12 or less hours. Prolly with some bathroom breaks.
Haha, I'm actually on a binge right now. I'm on a break from school and have reverted back to the way I was back in highschool/undergrad. Not too sure it's a good thing, but I'm having fun with it.

My friend from work just showed me MGS4...I have to get a PS3 now. I wanted to cry. Off to best buy!

I was addicted to a lot of games. Here are some of them:
Oblivion, GTA series, MGS portable ops, pokekmon green and HL2. I also play a lot of halo 3 online.

hmmmm well the metal slug series was probably my first addiction ever, i mean i could play them over and over. I loved the animations, the over-the-topness of it all, it was a truly amazing experience

Then i got CS:S and i got addicted to that for like a year, then i kinda stopped playin it becasue my grades dropped a little, but then i got back into again finally after a long time, and now that they released all the metal slugs onto PSP, i play those wherever i go

Fable. I used to get up at 4AM in the morning so I could log in a couple hours in before school every day. I didn't even have "The Lost Chapters" edition!

No mention of Civilisation yet? The game where you keep on saying to yourself "Just one more turn..." until you wake up with your keyboard imprinted on your face? For shame...

Oblivion would have to be my all time life-waster, however more recently GTA4 has been dominating my time. Here's a tip kiddies, don't go out driving straight after playing GTA4; it's reckless driving a-go-go!

First time I got Streets Of Rage 2 I played it over and over again for 10 hours straight. When my brother and I hold a "Streets Of Rageathon" (playing 1,2 & 3 back to back and then cranking the difficulty to Mania) they last about 12 hours.

Spore creature creator, half life 2, team fortress 2, and call of duty 4. Currently I am addicted to the Spore Creature Creator.

GTA 4 is the only one I can think of at the moment I don't think I;ve ever played a game every day for 3 weeks. Also Garry's Mod I played that over a whole summer once.

Rune Factory: A Fantasy Harvest Moon and Shin Megami Tensei: Persona 3. Man they kept me up late each night until I gained enough control to play them in 2 hour blocks.

I forgot to mention that portal is an addicting game for me, just letting turrets fall endlessly for fun.

my parents had left for the weekend; to begin, i should not be left home alone.

Burnout: Paradise and Metal Gear Solid 4

i played MGS for 6 hours in a row after waking up at 4AM ((my brother leaves for work at 3:30-3:45, is back home by 1pm and rarely lets me play from then on, the ps3 is in his room)) and a good 2 of those hours was spent killing infinitely respawning enemies in one of the areas, i forget which, and i ended up with well over 300k drebin points; the day i discovered how *explitive*ing greedy i really am!

then later, i played burnout for 8 HOURS after i learned that my brother was spending the rest of the day at.. somewhere (which i would remember if i hadn't been on a high-definition flat-/widescreen high that day) and spent a good full hour wrecking off of the SAME -insert explitive here-ing RAMP (i've pretty much waited a good half of my life for a game to come out with THAT realistic of crash physics)

i would have gone on to raise a good 8 levels on CoD4 online but my brother came home then and i realized i was supposed to have eaten breakfast 15 hours ago and that i should be surprised i haven't passed out or spontaneously developed epilepsy by then.

i spent most of the next day napping.

There should be laws against games being that addictive! The more recent ones are less so, as I can finish a game in a few hours, but I got the original for my amiga when I was a kid. For no other game would I wake up at 7am, play solidly until I was dragged away 12 hours later to eat something, then continue afterwards until I was too tired to focus on the screen - EVERY DAY of the holidays. I think I've almost spent as much time playing Civilization in my life as I have sleeping. Or breathing.

Most time I ever spent on a game was Super Bomberman 2 on the SNES with 4 people. I swear it's the gaming equivalent of crack.

Any co-op game will definitely suck a few hours out of my life, and that of a friend or two. It's different when you're playing with a friend co-operatively, the time flies right by cause you're busy joking around and all, while when playing on your own, you can opt to do something else whenever you want.

I think the most recent and longest play I went through was when I first got Halo 3. A friend and I went through Heroic in about eight hours. The only break taken was when my disk jacked up halfway through and I had to go get it replaced. It was like a mad drive down to the mall, punching my way through people to the customer service desk and demanding a new copy of the game. Then rushing back to finish it.

Shadow of the Colossus, I think was the worst game for me like that. Well, one day, I went from having 6 Colossi killed to beating it and killing the first 4 on hard mode. My girlfriend was out of town and me and my roommate had nothing better to do, so I flicked it on and played and played.
Also, Maplestory, that had me hooked for a little while. With pretty much the same result.

Resident Evil 4. I used to beat that game at least once a week for over a year. I got up to like 35-40 playthroughs. Whenever I see the first line of dialogue in a cutscene, I can still pretty much rattle of the rest of the speech before it ends. It just never stopped being fun.
