Diablo II. Diablo II Lord of Destruction.

Played RELEASE DATE - Current

I'd rather not think about the amount of time I've put into that game, the many times I've "taken breaks" only to come back.

What can I say, I love dungeon crawlers...and it's a dying breed of video games.

A few others I could put on the list are;

Baldur's Gate
Champions of Norrath
Gauntlet
D&D legends, or heroes..whatever it was.

Between playing the new 4th Edition D&D once a week, work, and my wife (who plays our Elven Ranger.) I wish they'd come out with a nice Dungeon Crawling Local Multiplayer RPG...Until that, well..I'll just cross my fingers for Fable 2.

Almost lost my girlfriend of 4 years due to WoW. She threatened her or the game, and actually thought about it. When it dawned on me that I did that, I hung it up for good and have not played in a year. But I can hear its sirens call every once in awhile....

The most addicting games I've ever played.....
Warcrafts 1-3
Civilization 4
Any "true" Command & Conquer. (Which that line ended with Renegade...Don't believe the lie of Generals and C&C 3. They weren't made by Westwood, therefore not a "True" Command & Conquer.)
Rome Total war
Fable: The lost chapters. (I spent many weeks searching for those Damned silver keys....)

I could say the same about Call of Duty and Infinity Ward -vs- Treyarch

Halo 2 on-line a few years ago.
It's absolutely sinful how much time me and about 4 of my friends wasted playing that over the course of about 2 years.

EverQuest...

One year of my life = gone.

If I stay awake one more hour shouting into the human void that is Gfay I can make more plat I'm an enchanter for fuck's sake and then when I sell this godforsaken character I'll be that much richer, yeah that's right, when I sell this guy in just a week... a month... maybe later on in the winter...

easily Skate

it's more like an animation suite than a videogame and the world is so big that you'll always have something new to try. to this day, i still occasionally find new things to skate on.

Knight of the Old Republic. I figured I'd play it once with my own moral compass, once as an evil bugger and once as a goodie two shoes. I must have finished the game at least 10 times now, and I'm still finding new things to do, new combinations to try.

Mass effect or Oblivion

I have played over 100 hours of Oblivion and skipped three days of school to play Mass Effect. I played through it 4 times in a week

There was a time when I kept a gb color in the arm rest of my car in case I was stuck in heavy NY traffic to play tetris dx ...and yes I was the driver. I probably have an obsessive behavioral disorder, but it keeps me happy, so I work with it.

Star Wars: Galactic Battlegrounds Clone Campaigns. It was the first RTS I ever played, and the map editor was really easy to use. Later, something similar happened with Disgaea 2, and for a short period it happened again with Supreme Commander Gold Edition.
