Man I have played thoose too much.

Oh and did I mention that I grew up on a healthy diet of Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time?

World of Warcraft. But you already know that.
Portal
Team Fortress and Team Fortress 2
Bejewled, for some reason
Tetris
Call of Duty 4 Multiplayer
Starfox 64
Goldeneye 64
Guitar Hero
Garry's Mod...even though I guess it doesn't really count as a game, it is still crazy fun to play with all day.
Starcraft
Diablo 2
The Elder Scrolls 3: Morrowind. Damn all Cliff Racers.
The Elder Scrolls 4: Oblivion. Horray! They nerfed Cliff racers!

Usually, when I get a new game, I've the type that has to finish it as soon as possible... but I always study for tests and things if I need to. Gaming is a passion that happens after other priorities.
thats what i am like.
except for studying for tests. (i never do but i still ace them)

Diablo II. Diablo II Lord of Destruction.

Played RELEASE DATE - Current
Yeah, Diablo II, I have never been so addicted to a game before; I stopped playing years ago though, I probably played it in all my free time I didn't spend hanging out with my friends. Course that was like 8th grade. But damn we're talking like 11 hours a day in some cases for 2 years.

After that, which surprised me because I wasn't interested to much in this game when I first saw it was WoW and that was only a year and a half 4-10 hours a day. You need to understand though that the primary reasons were because my kidneys failed and I had to leave university....and my girlfriend dumped me at the same time; I had to have dialysis three times a week; so really it was more of a mental painkiller. After all that nonsense later I realized I'd be paying for one month to craft one kick ass item, and that just wasn't worth the money or the time.

After that, I'd say Planetside, I loved that game, till the population dropped drastically after the expansion pack and the players had to huddle together for warmth. That and they never fixed the bug where texture memory wouldn't be refreshed and the game would crash after an hour of playing. I still remember the days of actual tank columns, Reaver formations and 20 minute que-lines, Ah...War.

Oblivion/Morrowind
Football Manager 2008
Diablo 2

I could play those games the entire day.

Zone of the Enders 2

This game can be finished in some few hours, but fighting mechas was so much fun and I enjoyed the storyline so much that I'd play it again right after finishing it.

Panzer Dragoon Saga. I played it non-stop for about 7 months straight a couple of years ago, and loved every second of it. The only other game that I've loved this badly was Metal Gear Solid 3.

Not sure if this counts for this topic but after completing MGS 4 yesterday I decided to play MGS 1, 2 and 3 all in one sitting. I started at about 4:30pm yesterday and finished at 5:30pm today.

Sacred, anyone remember that? The lil Diablo 2 Clone? Played it through, on silver mode after i bought it in 1 1/2 Day, only taking breaks to go to the bathroom and get something to drink..well and eat when i really had to, used to eat while playing though. When i was done my whole right arm had cramped up, could barely move it cause it was in one position for a long time, only moving the mouse.

Longest though, well Diablo 2 i guess, played it for 2-3 Years before finally quitting, though i never played it really intensive like constantly several hours at a time, just the usual few runs and such, back when it was still good in 1.09 ;p

Played WoW too, used to play every damn day the week, for hours, though since there wasnt enough content for me (no only items are NOT content worth paying for or investing that much time) i quit twice, once after 1 Month and the second time after 5, never got back to it and probably never will.

Mass Effect got me hooked right now, as does Darkstar One and as soon as they come out, either Diablo 3 (its been announced!), Jumpgate Evolution, Darkfall, Black Prophecy, Stargate Worlds and Fable 2 (which im actually looking forward to)..dont think any other game could make me play alot again, nor are there any other good games announced right now i'd consider.

Star Wars Galaxies, before they nerfed it. I was a Mayor of a little old town called Mos Solar, Tatooine on the Europe-Farstar server. So NATURALLY. I had to spend every waking hour in that hell-hole fixing Militia Rights and re-arranging the furniture in my City Hall.

What a waste of time that all turned out to be. ^_^

Hexic HD without a doubt. All the capabilities of the new generation were at my fingertips, and I played an old puzzle game for 200+ hours.

Does grinding count as "addicting"? For instance in God Hand, when I discovered you could play the fruit machine by pressing a few button sequences, & the odds were stacked in your favour, I used to play it for hours whilst having my T.V. on another channel. I would be watching something else & continuously pressing the same button sequences over & over again. After the film or programme had finished I would switch back to my PS2 channel & be a couple of million richer. I've spent days doing this.

Also is grinding or power levelling the worst type of addictive game play? Since you're not progressing through the game or getting much enjoyment, but once you start you can't stop until you're convinced you've ground enough to play the game "properly".

World of Warcraft,Pokemon and Project Gothem Racing 3. WoW and Pokemon are almost standard amongst many gamers :p, but PGR3 was insane for me. I was hooked with it playing online for easily 12 - 14 hours in a sitting. I found a really good bunch of people to play with and we just played all the time.

Grand Theft Auto San Andreas. The only game I was addicted to for 2 whole years! I still like it, but I do not have that urge I had to play it. Who knows, if I manage to get a console to play GTA 4, I think I may be addicted more to it than to SA. On the other hand I may as well wait for the PC version :D

SSX3 For some reason I played that game all day, every day for about a week. Thats like, 63 hours or so. I don't have the game anymore, and it makes me sad.
