SSX3 For some reason I played that game all day, every day for about a week. Thats like, 63 hours or so.
I don't blame you, SSX is/was (depending on what happens during the rest of this year) an excellent series.

For me I would say that RollerCoaster Tycoon is the most addictive game I have ever played; it had excellent user interface, clean 2D graphics, and objectives that made for a perfect learning curve. I have never played a game for more than four hours straight but RollerCoaster Tycoon made the hours fly by.

Civilization 3 was a bastard to break away from... until I tried one step up from Cheiftan level. I stopped after I got my ass handed to me by the computer.

Oblivion.

Command and Conquer.

Roller Coaster Tycoon.

I remember playing FF7 for so long at a time when I first got it, it must have been a weekend, that the only thing that ended my game spree was the fact that I couldn't stand my own stink anymore. Shame.

Oblivion was really addictive for me until the disk stopped working because it was too heavily scratched. If you just mean a game that I couldn't put down until I'd finished it, then Ninja Gaiden II, Bioshock and Assassin's Creed hooked me in until I seriously resented the idea of leaving the game unfinished. But, honestly, the things I play constantly are Guitar Hero III, TF2 and the CoD4 multiplayer

In most recent years, this honor would go to Halo 2. When it was first released it was also when I bothered to purchase X-Box Live. Thus I was like a young child on a high... while devouring truck loads of sugar... in a candy store. I played that game every single day for the moth of November and I do mean everyday, usually clocking a minimum of three hours and I think a maximum of twelve or so on a few occasions. I was a man possessed!

... never was able to play video games for ridiculous periods of time after that. I think subconsciously my body is fearful of another game claiming my soul! lol

Back in the olden days I used to play alot of the old Mario and Sonic games on NES and Genesis. When Ocarina of Time came out on N64 followed by Majora's Mask a couple years later, I barely saw the light of day. Morrowind was by far the most time I've spent on a single game this side of Oblivion.

Diablo II. Diablo II Lord of Destruction.

Played RELEASE DATE - Current

I'd rather not think about the amount of time I've put into that game, the many times I've "taken breaks" only to come back.

What can I say, I love dungeon crawlers...and it's a dying breed of video games.
Heh. I remember nights of dozens of Baal runs, rushing characters, MFing.
Good lord, Diablo II: LoD was all I did last summer. I got a C- in my Trig class because of it.
