Oven Baked Goodness!

Aren't baked treats just delightful? Who doesn't love to bake and enjoy a nice batch of cookies? Why, I'm sure even someone as inhuman and distasteful as Hitler enjoyed it on some level, occasionally donning an apron (stitched upon it "Kiss Ze Furher") and baking up some cookies every now and again, though I wouldn't be surprised if he made certain every ingredient wasn't Kosher.

That said, what's your favorite thing to bake? If you don't actually cook, what's your favorite baked treat?

For me it's brownies. I don't know why. It's probably because they're so simple to make.

I'm a serious baking addict. I'm always making cupcakes, pies, biscuits and cookies. Yesterday I made shortbread. Today I made crumble.

I'm not sure if this qualifies as "baking", but I love making these little chocolate cakes that you pour water and frosting into and then put in the microwave for about a minute. Delicious.

Once I made some pretty kickass banana bread. It was delicious. I can make anything in a microwave or that involves boiling water, but that's about it so I was pleasantly surprised when I made banana bread that was actually good.

Cookies and cinnamon rolls are my favorite to make/eat. But man now I want both.... (looks up nearest Ms. Fields and Cinnebon) (side note I lack ingredients to make any right now).

I love baking. I can't cook any other part of a meal worth a shit, but I can bake a mean cake.

My favorite recipe are these mint chocolate cookies my mum developed when she got tired of paying the Girl Scouts in our area for overly expensive boxes of thin mints.
