ChristWire.com fell to the trolls LONG ago.

Taking it seriously is NOT recommended.

You know what's really annoying?

You can tell it's not serious, but it's only marginally more absurd than the ones that are.

I'd say it was satire.

But satire is more subtle than that.
Satire doesn't have to be subtle.
I wouldn't say The Onion is particularly subtle.

Yeah, I read the first half of the first sentence and realised it was satire. Sadly, it's so obvious that it doesn't come across as all that funny to me.

[small]Please tell me no-one actually believed this?[/small]

I like the idea of a futuristic devil machine! I'll get right to constructing one.

Also, it's an odd tidbit that about a third of the female audience to a concert ment for homosexual gays are raped and presumably dragged kicking and screaming to some Atheist (Or worse yet, french) abortion clinic. Surely, it'd be a bit more well-known. Oh, right, them gays control the media, ho-hum.

Although I can get behind boycotting dubstep, it's just really loud thumping.

In any case, this brightened my day.

Thank Jim this is satire. Poe's law is a truly frightening thing.
(In case that term isn't immediately familiar to you, have some copypasta from wikipedia)
Poe's law, named after its author Nathan Poe, is an internet adage reflecting the fact that without a clear indication of the author's intent, it is difficult or impossible to tell the difference between sincere extremism and an exaggerated parody of extremism

It is Christwire, which is basically satire of REAL church teachings in the US.

I expect to get laughed at but what on earth is skrillex? It sounds like a cookware company.

Edit: I just bothered to look it up, I'm now sorry I know that this shit exists.

The sad thing is this satire article mirrors what the 'metal is Satan music' crowd spouts but that's probably the point.

Very definitely a piece of Christwire-like satire.
Yeah, it's a lot like christwire...

While it's okay as satire, I didn't find it particularly funny.
It's not subtle enough for that.
Yes. Yes. And yes.

http://christwire.org/2012/02/skrillex-uses-satanic-and-homosexual-influence-to-win-grammys/

That's the actual source, so it's not "like Christwire".

Unfortunately, it sucks for your whole website combined to have less humor and relevance than a single line of one of Jonathan Swift's essays from the 1600s.

Yes, exactly like your sentence, minus the basically, satire, real, church, teachings, US, humor, and anything that would interest people in the past two millennia. People should have higher standards for their satire.
