It is Christwire, which is basically satire of REAL church teachings in the US.

Yes, exactly like your sentence, minus the basically, satire, real, church, teachings, US, humor, and anything that would interest people in the past two millennia. People should have higher standards for their satire.

It isn't meant to be funny so much as place it as plainly as possible that religion is teaching people this type of garbage and is dangerous.

It had it's moments.

I went on the site and read a few more too. By that point I realised that ChristWire is the epitome of trolling and satire humour. the only thing mission now is a subtle suggestion to state that it is humour, so others don't take it so serious.
