Oh Christwire, you never disappoint.

So it's only the homosexual gays then? Heterosexual gays don't like Skrillex apparently.

As others have said this is most likely satire, otherwise my faith in humanity just took a severe nosedive.
It's true. I'm gay, but would I go so far as to say a HOMOSEXUAL gay? Tough question. Also I don't listen to Skrillex, so yeah, I guess I'm a heterosexual gay.

Well yeah if you don't listen to Skrillex you're clearly not a homosexual gay! :p

No seriously, everyone. Gabanuka already said it; Christwire is a Christian fundementalist evangelical PARODY website.

The whole premise is getting real evangelical Christians to take it as fact and humiliate themselves quoting it. I don't support it, not only because it's a huge insult to what is often a lower-intellect part of society (kind of like picking on the kid with Down's; it's not right), but also because it lowers the general IQ with every "comedy" article they create as someone out there believes it to be true.

So we should be afraid of insulting a bunch of small-minded thugs who like insulting other people for even more petty reasons?

And that's how satire works, my friend. If some idiot thinks it's true, then that's their dumb fault and why should Christwire be wrong for just trying to have some light-hearted and humorous fun at the expense of nasty fundamentalists who call for the stoning of gay people?

It's one of those things where it leaves you wonder if it's satire or not, and then you realise it doesn't matter, because the fact that you considered it being serious is something which speaks volumes about conservative Christians.
I didn't think for a second that it wasn't satire... Conservative Christians might have one or two batshit insane people, but that's just how it is for every group, just as a satire article about a 'gamer' saying women are trying to raise shit with the recent video (I think we've all seen it) and that they should stay in the kitchen. Honestly, if people started saying 'yeah, that's exactly how the gaming community is' I'd be pissed, I think most of us would at least be annoyed.

So always remember, the minority usually barks the loudest, and being part of a group with a few rotten apples does not mean you are rotten yourself.

Have an open mind and always aspire to avoid ignorance.
