Overcharged - Chapter Three, Dark Hearts [FROZEN UNTIL REQUESTED]

ThreeWords shook his head, and lifted into the air, then summoned a flame-thrower to blast away what still clung to his feet. His artificial skin was burnt away, but it did not affect his combat capabilities.

He turned the flame-thrower on what remained of David, searing at the mangled body

Three Word Bump!

"Just freaking die already!" Catherine was through with this now. She swapped for a heavy bolter, almost dragging it behind her as she moved closer to the former ally, shooting enough to have reduced a building to it's remnants.

Larry missed David but charged forward a bit and turned around he put his arms out to his sides and slammed them together creating a shockwave of energy heading directly towards David`s back.

David exploded into tiny bits, showering his flesh all over the street. His head flew and smashed onto the ground, rolling away for few meters. He looked at his opponents for a brief moment, then he shut his eyes. The flesh, which had just been blown all around the street, started to inch towards David's head...'

...

Smith and Will yelled to 3W.

"What is going on?!"

Larry looked at the puddle of guts and noticed they were slowly moving he saw a bit of flesh slither pat him he squished it with his foot sending blood everywhere.
"well now is`nt that a wholesome sight" Larry laughed looking at the pile of skin and guts squelching against the ground. eh walked over to it and started messing with it running to the street and grabbing a stop sign and using that to poke it.
"hey Cathie try this it`s fun." Larry smiled poking the pile of what was once David.

Harold and Bart advanced with their mutant army making their way up to the broadcast station Harold saw that a battle had recently taken place and decided this was the time to make his move.
"ha those fools will never know what happened to them" Harold chuckled he then pointed towards the broadcasting station and yelled at the top of his lungs. "CHARGE FOR HONOR" they army started to siege the battle area flooding it from all sides surrounding the three heroes.
"so you never even bothered to move from here,god you must be pathetic at tatics" harold laughed for a bit."so where was I oh right, DESTROY THEM" Harold swept his hand and suddenly the army ran towards the three of them from all sides.

"Wait a freaking second!" The army almost fully stopped, not out of fear or respect, but out of utter confusion. "You follow this guy!?" Catherine pointed out their leader, Harold, a completely idiotic backstabber by anyone's standards. "Why? Because he promised you freedom? Or a place in the new world order or something daft?" A few lone voices muttered words. Something like, "Wait. Isn't that her from the broadcast?" and, "Doesn't she look really familiar to you?" Ah. Non idiots. Very good.

"I am Catherine. And yes. You've all seen me before on the broadcast." The same few voices were heard, "But what the fuck did you just do to that guy?" She looked down to the exploded remnants of David. Which were... moving? She cocked her head and reached down to the closest piece of burnt flesh. It leaped away as she closed her hand around it. She stood back up and said to Threewords, "...We have to go. Now."

The army isn't made of idiots. They'll notice that someone they were about to kill specifically asked for their help. And Catherine isn't sticking around for David to rip them to shreds.

"Right," ThreeWords agreed, "I wonder, can your powers extend to vehicles as well? We could use a way to transport our own non-flying units" he said, pointing to Jane, Smith and Will

Then, speaking on radio-bandwidth, he said, "Wolf, Fox, we've got a huge load of supers about to attack. I advise we regroup together. Do you transport available?"

David's remnants started to from a pile, which swirled slowly...

...

"Affirmative. What sort of limo do you want, sir? We've got plenty to choose from, jets, tanks and all that shit, only for you." Wolf answered. They had retreated way back to the northern border of the city. Establishing a full-scale base, Fox was busy shouting orders to keep the men busy.

Spoiler: Jane isn't here.

But the rest of them are. Transport options will take maxium of five minutes to arrive.

Oooh, David's not in a nice mood.

"Whatever, just get us out of here. Preferably, something fast and heavily armed"

Seeing David's remains, he prepared the invisible chainblade and spoke quietly to Catherine

"What say we hang back and hope he attacks Harold and co instead of us?"

 

[PandarenBa]

"Affirmative, we're sending a hovertank there. ETA five minutes." Wolf motioned to some of the soldiers who saluted and ran towards a garage.

Harold looked around and saw the super army was`nt moving.
"what are you waiting for you fools attack" Harold yelled sending a command to the others who immediately started marching towards 3W Catherine surrounding him and then without warning a fireball was catapulted over the crowd heading straight for 3W Catherine and Larry.

"aw crap" Larry yelled leaping out of the way.

 

[ThreeWords]

ThreeWords grinned, and summoned an invisible guitar, playing 'Through The Fire And Flames', by Dragon Force. The fireball stuck, but the flames slid harmlessly around him. As he reached the chorus, the flames blossomed around him, and he swung the instrument like an axe. Wreathed in fire, he cleaved his way through the ranks of supers

"I say no" Harold growled as he held his hand out and telekenetically grabbed 3W's flaming axe and threw it backwards and then without warning ten to twenty supers immediately lept onto 3W piling on top of him.

The supers piled on, but through the press of bodies, ThreeWords pointed to Harold and played a line of 'In My Place' by Coldplay. A moment of Cosmic uncertainty, and then Harold was crushed by a dozen supers.

"Hold them off for five minutes!" ThreeWords yelled to his allies, then summoned a pair of sub-machine guns and opened fire on the chaotic pile.

"fools" Harold yelled sending out a telekinetic pulse throwing the pile into the air he then grabbed them all in mid-air and threw them at Larry and Catherine Larry got hit with one super in the head another in the mid-section and another in the legs sending him backwards another three flew at Catherine one of them managing to slam into her gut with his shoulder sending her onto the ground as well they then started laying into Larry and Catherine another three then jumped at 3W attempting to take him down.

ThreeWords turned his gun onto his attackers, and one fell full of invisible bullets. He caught the second, then threw him at the third, summoning a stun-gun to knock them both out. Then, the aimed the stun-gun at Harold and fired an invisible bolt of energy toward him

Harold held out his palm and blocked the energy bolt deflecting it into the sky then using the other hand sent a wave of telekinetic energy towards 3W sending him backwards where immediately four supers started punching him and tearing at his plating.
"ha there is no hope you have no chance of stopping me absolutely no chance of bringing me down BWHAHAHAHAHAHA...man I`ve become generic" Harold laughed as he watched Larry Catherine and 3W get torn apart by the army of supers.

but without warning Larry threw off all three of the supers that had him pinned he then started to charge towards Harold but the army of supers stood in his way he simply ran through them like they were nothing but eventually they were able to slow him down getting in front of him and eventually piling in front of him he was so close before twelve or so supers had stopped him completely.

"ah poor pathetic Larry,so how`s it feel to be powerless" Harold laughed at the immobilized Larry."let`s see what I can do with you" Harold pressed his hand against Larry`s head and pulsed telekinetic energy through Larry's brain. Larry screamed in pain as he felt his skull being caved inwards. "that`s it scream,howl in pain ha your screams sound like music to my ears" Harold laughed as he watched Larry's expression change from that of immense pain to a blank look as his skull cracked sending shards of it into his brain the supers holding him back slowly backed away letting him fall to the ground. "ha now Larry is no more, that`s what you get for following an idealistic fool like mister terrible" Harold laughed as he flung Larry`s corpse in between Catherine and 3W.

The pile of flesh, which had been David, seemed to swirl faster and grow in size...

...

Smith and Will nodded to eachother and jumped out of the cover, charging at the group of supers.

"COWABUNGA!", Smith cried as he sliced through the supers with his steel body. Will stood back, assuming a sniper style and blasting at the group with quick bursts of rock.

She forced the fledgling supers away with a blast of energy directly into the ground and shot them once in each leg as they fell back, then turned to Harold. "I bet you'll love to see what you get for being an idealistic fool just like him then," Catherine smirked and swapped out to a chainblade/plasma cannon combo. "I'll hand it to you that you've done a lot better than he had though." The chainblade revved quietly, a warning to those supers who came too close.

"You can give up now. Or you can go the way Terry did."
