I thought Overlord was pretty damn good. They kept the crappy Hammerhead combat to a minimum, but it IS fun to ride around in it. The story for it I thought was good as well, mainly the last segment. It had a nice, mysteriously creepy touch to it. I'd recommend it.

What about total length ?

I might get it, but I haven't played the Kasumi or Hammerhead DLC, so I just might get all three at the same time to make it seem like one long DLC.

I found it interesting. Spoiler alert!

However, I think that this would have made more sense if it came with the actual game, because why would I want to control the Geth when I can make an alliance with them through Legion(speaking strictly from a PARAGON perspective). I'll have to see if I can bring Legion there or not, maybe that will change the entire mission.

Not too interested to be honest, the ME2 DLC hasn't really been all that great.

The game is so narrative based anyway that jumping back in for a quick DLC adventure feels jarring and out of context.
I couldn't agree more. DLC just feels like a waste, especially once you've finished the story.
That's actually why I stopped playing, I heard about the firestorm pack coming out and I was like "fuck I don't want to fly around AFTER I beat the damn story" so I just stopped playing, I'm gonna wait out the DLC or something. I dunno

I've tried it. It's not that bad. It seems to me that they're using their fanbase as a testing ground of sorts for different gameplay (specifically, vehicle-based) and it's improving. If only they could integrate the mako-style sequences the way they did in the original with the improved gameplay and settings of ME2, they'd quite likely have struck gold. There are actual moral choices in this DLC, interesting aesthetics, and some fun combat. If ME2 were a 9.5/10, this is about a 6.5-7/10. Not awful, not a complete waste of time, but it may not be worth spending money on.

Edit: It's also about an hour of ME2 goodness, if that's what you're looking for.

That is exactly my plan. Great minds...

Does anyone else miss the days when developers had to finish their games before release?

This DLC is actually really good. Fairly short, but the ending [http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pcJRk0lQ3wc] was just terrific. Really made you feel for the...person involved. (trying to avoid spoilahs)

All that happens is Archer asks if Legion is going to be a problem.

There is a difference between "We're too lazy to finish this, just charge extra for it" DLC and "Let's use this time when we can't start development on the next game and thus have nothing to do" DLC. BioWare DLC (usually) belongs in the latter.

I've heard it's actually quite good. I'll probably get it as soon as I can.
