Note: Exalted is a game about heroic mortals who get gifted with powers, essentially becoming semi-divine weapons of the gods. It thrives on being utterly ridiculous, and grants players bonuses for describing their actions in absurdly awesome ways. There are also gods for literally everything, so say there's a pop song you hate...you can track down the god of pop and beat him up until he permanently changes the lyrics. Also, the Sidereals have martial arts where you can punch someone's soul off. Yeah, read that again.

Heavenly Guardian Defense is one of three "perfect defenses" which perfectly block an attack.
Accuracy Without Distance supplements an archery attack, guaranteeing that it will hit, even just barely.

Tesla cannon in Fallout 3. It's a great weapon, but one hell of a powerful one, too.

I never understood this, actually. I had max Energy Weapons and all, but it was really weak against armour. I tried V.A.T.S. and freehand aim. I think there's a bug with the splash damage on mine.

What are some of the most overpowered weapons you have come across in your history of gaming?

Any main character in any FPS using any weapon. They are always one man armies that are able to kill hundre4ds of powerful enemies by themselves.

More specifically; the flame thrower and shotgun in GTA2, the shotguns (SPAS12 mostly) in very RainbowSix game, the shotguns in CoD6, basically games make shotguns too long ranged. They are meant to be short range and extremly powerful, but games make them extremely powerful, long ranged, accurate and generally too good!

Probably the Krogoth in Total Annihilation, as far as RTS OP-ness goes. God those things were sick.

As far as the platformer OP-ness goes it's a tie for Alucard's Shield + Shield Rod and the Crissaegrim sword in Castlevania: Symphony of the Night.

Any kind of semi-automatic or automatic sniper rifle is OP in FPS games. Oh, and Airstrikes/hovering planes and choppers in Modern Warfare. What the fuck is that all about anyway? Seriously? Total bullshit.
