Ohhhhh, I really liked you up until that... I loved Halo (all the series) and Assassin's Creed. That said, I suppose AC was a little overrated, it was hyped to be really good then the actual game, though still good, was a bit of a letdown with certain elements of the parkour, some of the enemy AI, and the repetitiveness of each mission. Thank God all of those are being remedied with AC2...

As for my contribution: I have to go for films by Francis Ford Coppola. A bit of an obscure choice, but I've seen his work, and especially Apocalypse Now, I have to say it's pretty overrated. Then again, I didn't ever see The Godfather, so hopefully when I eventually do then that'll be enough to restore my faith in his works

Oh, too many to count. Halo is the first thing to come to mind, followed closely by Twilight, Hannah Montana and anything related to Disney. Then comes rap, modern "rock" (namely Linkin Park and Green Day).

Any book where the author's name is more prominent than the title. Also Harry Potter.

Call of Duty 4. I mean, yeah, it's pretty fun. However, it's not the only game on 360. It sure seems that way because nobody on my friends list EVER plays anything else. I think there are much better games.

I think Twilight is good. But I agree about Metallica. I don't see the attraction in their songs. Linkin Park is way better.

Twilight... good?... I have gone into in depth analyzing of girls who actually likes the crap, and from them it had something to do with it being the whole "mysterious and dark dream" coming true in form of a book/movie.

God I hate Twilight, it's not even written in a good way.

I will admit that Bella is somewhat thick, but the story is good, and I really like the authors style of writing.

First book

Bella: I love you because you're incredibly handsome.
Edward: I love you because your blood smells really good.

Second book

Edward: I'm leaving.
Bella: Okay. I'm going to die inside for a year.
Jacob: I love you.
Bella: You brighten my life, and I am going to come to terms with the fact that I can never see Edward again and be with you, because we both deserve it.
Stephenie Meyer: No, that's realistic. Therefore it's dumb.
Alice: Edward's going to go get himself killed by superpowered Italian vampires, so we have to fly to Italy and steal a car and save him so you can end up with him again.
Bella: Yay!

Third book

Bella: Jacob befriended me and stopped me from going insane or killing myself. I'm gonna go say hi to him.
Edward: No, you can't do that. As in, no, you won't just get bad boyfriend karma, I'm going to physically stop you.
Bella: Oh. Okay. Our relationship isn't abusive at all.



This is the definition of a good story. Uh-huh. Yeah.

Don't get me wrong, I really liked the first Halo, and whilst 3 wasn't bad, it certainly isn't as good as all the rabid fanboys proclaim it to be. It catered far too much towards multiplayer, and the story mode suffered because of it. Also, the main menu is THE most user-unfriendly interface I have ever encountered.

What you said about AC was right on the mark - it overhyped itself. There was no way it was going to live up to everyones expectations. I've still got hopes for AC2, especially after I found this [http://www.play.com/Games/Xbox360/4-/10287842/Assassin-Creed-II-Black-Edition/Product.html].
