As an aside: you all realize wearing any clothing at all is unnatural, right?
Whaaaaaaaaaat?

If we didn't wear clothing we would die. Clothing is incredibly natural.

Where are you pulling that claim from?
Die? I'm pretty sure those nudist are doing okay.
/facepalm.

You think nudists are always naked? Ah, okay. Well, they're not. Nudists arrange times and locations where they can get together and take their clothes off. It's illegal to be naked in public, so they obviously do wear clothes, otherwise they'd be in prison.

If I walked to the shops in winter without clothes on I would get pneumonia. No questions asked. If I kept doing it I'd be dead in a year.

You sound like one of those people that thinks anything humans create is unnatural. Is a bird collecting fleece for their nest natural? Is a beaver collecting sticks to make a dam natural? Yes, and so is humans creating fibers to place around their bodies. It's a way to express ourself and it is a way to keep comfortable. It also provides protection. Clothing also has existed throughout all human history and any culture that lives in a cold climate must use it. The percentage of societies that don't wear clothing would be amazingly minuscule compared to those that do.

Clothing is a very natural part of human behaviour.

There are indeed nudist who are nude all year, day in and day out. They just don't, you know, live in areas where they will die, lol.

Not necessarily, sure in a cold climate you'll freeze to death and in densely populated areas it's very unsanitary and filthy but in warm, spacious, less densely populated areas it's quite safe and can in fact even be healthier than wearing clothes.

Also: I just love how serious you two are getting with each other over an argument about not wearing clothes.

How many societies is there who have absolutely no form of clothing and never wear any? A handful at best.

Now compare that number to those that do, and all of those that have done throughout human history.

Then get back to me on what one is natural. Hell, clothing is a downright necessity to most of the world due to climate. The areas where you could get away without wearing any clothing all seasons and all times of day would be really really tiny.

Source? I don't agree at all. Without clothing you are extremely vulnerable to predators and the environment. You'd be covered with blisters, scratches and cuts. You'd be in a lot of pain that's for sure.

Also, how many areas do you know where you could go without clothes all year? Even in most hot climates, the night time falls below zero and there is still a winter to contend with. Also storms and wind and ice.

Maybe the point of my opinion isn't being conveyed correctly.

My point is that the human body has become an icon for sexuality. I'm not saying I'm any different or "better" or anything even like that. It's just weird when you think about it.

Well, an example would be in Ancient Egypt where commoners pretty much never wore any clothes
(and even when they did it was just loin-cloths) and blisters were not a concern because, well, it's the freaking dessert, not many trees, and not much to obstruct your vision, that and the only Animals that really posed a huge threat to Humans in the Egyptian dessert were Hippos and Alligators/ Crocodiles which you could easily avoid by just not going near the water they resided in. And Scorpions would be able to sting you whether or not you're wearing a shirt and pants.
And although the nights were very cold they still had homes and some sort of blanket or blanket like thing to keep them warm, and Winter in Egypt has no Snow or Ice, at all.

That was done deliberately to rid them of social status, so the rest of your point is a bit off. They certainly wouldn't have chosen to be naked, that would have been incredibly uncomfortable for them. The clothing was reserved for the wealthy and the powerful and they would leave the slaves and peasants naked or next to naked so they were identified and labelled as such. Clothing was very much part of the culture in Ancient Egypt. So yeah, that's not really an argument for your position. It's like saying that Jews loved pajamas in the 40s. Too far?

I've been to Egypt and that place is freezing cold at night time, so having no clothes on wouldn't have been much fun. I still think clothing is a very natural part of human culture.
