Everybody on three:
Wacca wacca wacca...

Given that studios managed to crank three movies out of Resident Evil, Pac Man should pose no issues, after all, the plot's much better written.

It's a great idea. Millions of people will go to see it out of sheer curiosity. I know I will.

It will be terrible though.

All I have to say is, "Wakka hell's going on?" (Pun definitely intended).
That will be stolen and used in the movie now, hope you get royalties for it.

This is either indescribably brilliant or apocalyptically horrible. Guess we'll have to wait and see...

...Well, as you read in the title... a Pac-Man movie. Perhaps... you know what? Just click the link...

...I don't even know how to respond to this...

Edit: The picture in the link is actually pretty funny.
Is it just me, or is that picture reminiscent of Paranoia [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Paranoia_%28role-playing_game%29]?

Despite all the negetive reactions to this, I say it could be great.

The plot could consist of a quadrouple homicide. The man on trial believes that he had to kill the four men to stop them from going further. He is portrayed as insane from the begining, but as the plot progresses we see what he saw. What he see's is like a game of pac man. We see him eating the small pills as he runs from the Ghosts. As we get to the halfway mark, we make a starteling discovery when we see part of what actually happened. We know what we are seeing is related to the hallucination of the Man, but instead of eating the Big Pill and killing the ghost, he picks up a rock and kills the man in the orange shirt. As Orange dies, we see him drop a SMG to the ground. As more of the plot is exposed through flashback, we slowly realize what has actually been happening. The "Ghosts" are actually people who are hunting the man (Most Dangerous Game), but he eventually kills all of them. We now go back to the trial where it is implied that he has told his side of the story. Shocked, us and the jury can do nothing but decide that what he did was out of self defence and let him off the bat.

There was a Monopoly movie?
I think there's going to be...
I would watch that. A hat and an iron buying and selling houses and property become the big guns of the streets. After the battleship takes to crime he starts working his way up the chain from drug dealer to crime boss. Unsuspectingly, the money bag makes his appreance when the shit hits the fan and all the stories tie together over the murder of the car.

Fuck, I'm making that film!

... I can't actually believe a Pac-man movie could be so damn serious... wow, that's good.

I'm anticipating "hungry hungry hippos" "shoots and ladders" and "go fish" movies if they are seriously going to turn a story-less arcade game into a film. What is this world coming to?
and a monopoly movie would be great! it would be Jim Carry carrying some old guy on his back for 2 hours (...think about it...)

has anyone considered that it might be like The Wizard or King of Kong and that it's just going to FEATURE pacman as a story element? I mean that could work
