The amount of entitlement in this thread is appalling.
You signed the contract to no overtime. If you feel the working conditions don't make it worth it find a new job. Simple as that. I can see boohooing about these developers (almost all of them make 40k+ minimum) who are so poor and can't fight for themselves.
The video game development industry is very competitive because people like making video games and they are willing to be paid less to be apart of something they think is cool. Rarely do people actually do research and if they did they would find out that making games is not the same as playing them. So if it's not an industry you want to be a part of then move on, there is plenty of programming work out there.
Seriously, you are not entitled to work on video games and if you want to you better be willing to work for cheaper then the standard programmer. It's not like these skills are not transferable and people can't find other work. These are highly skilled people, with plenty of options.
Elsewhere in the world, a billion people work 110 hour weeks just to eat. Entitlement at it's best.
