"I knew and could take you at once to any illustration of naked women anywhere in our house, from Reubens painting of fleshy chubbos in "Masterpieces of World Painting" to a cartoon by Peter Arno in the latest issue of the New Yorker to my father's small private library of girlie magazines in a secret place, known only to him, me and one hundred and eleven of my closest friends, in his bedroom."

Well, the closest book was Finnish, but it didn´t have enough sentences on page 56. This is what I got from the second closest book:

"The pomegranate wine," said I, "will ennoble our thoughts, will inspire and illuminate our minds, and perchance will reveal to us a mode of escape from our difficulties."

Currently, the closest book to me is Watchmen, and as anyone who's read the book knows, it is a graphic novel and doesn't have regular page numbers, so this may be a bit off.

You understand?

Kind of short, so I'll throw in a small explanation. The Comedian, a hero, is crazily questioning an ex-villain, Moloch. He grabs Moloch's shirt and tells him that if Moloch was in on a plot, he'd kill him. Then, he utters the above quote.

Alas, the closest book to me is my JLPT grammar section prep book, so:

7. Konkai no kokusaikaigi ni kan shite wa, hisho no techigai de, hoteru no yoyaku ( ) shiryou no junbi mo dekite inai.

a) wo yoso ni b) to iedomo c) wa oroka d) ni hikikae

-Kanzen Masutaa 1-kyuu Nihongo Nouryoku Shiken Bunpou Mondai Taisaku (Complete Mastery Level 1 Japanese Language Proficiency Exam Grammar Section Strategies)

Romanized because the forums choke on Japanese, and the answer is c.
