My Grandma cooks pancakes with 7up in them. Sounds gross but they are incredibly good.
Oh dear that does sound good. I shall give it a try.

Another culinary tip is to par-boil your Sunday roast joint of meat in coca-cola before roasting it. Sounds horrid but its delicious. Sorry for off topiccing.

You made me google it. I am sad now.
OT: Silver dollar ones with butter and maple syrup. Large pancakes with blueberry/strawberry/raspberry jam. Add bacon and consume. Repeat.

Did I win?

With maple syrup, obviously. Preferably fresh.

And eight inches across.

EDIT: Gah, ninja'd!

Bananas, oat flour, barley malt (natural sweetener), fresh ground nutmeg, fresh cinnamon, baking powder, ground flax seed and soy milk.

Makes a hell of a vegan pancake for us non-dairy eaters.

Cup of flour, cup of buttermilk or just full-cream milk, an egg, all mixed together, left overnight to settle or some shit, then fried.

Tastes just as good as any of this complicated four-bowls sifting white-whisking shit...
That's not a pancake. No baking powder, no leavening. Meaning it will be solid all the way through, no fluffiness at all. However, what you describe is a crepe, which is also delicious, and even more versatile then pancakes (Not necessarily better, but more versatile certainly)

Waffles are delicious, and are similar enough to pancakes that insulting waffles is insulting pancakes too. I guess I would go with Pancakes if I had to choose, however. Buttermilk pancakes in particular, and adding a little vanilla to the batter is incredibly delicious. I was just thinking about pancakes earlier, actually...

Another Pancake!

And then thrown into a sandvich machine.
(Syrup is the only thing allowed to be used as a condiment. Anything else is considered heresy.)

Pancakes rule, English ones that is.

Flour, eggs, milk, in that order. Cook. Cover in chocolate/lemon juice and sugar. Consume. Repeat.

Chocolate chip with whip cream and strawberries. but waffles seam to be a trend here, so I like plain with blueberry syrup. hot blueberry syrup mind you, none of this cold syrup business.

I see, duly noted and thank you. I'll keep it in mind for the few times I plan on using footnotes in the future.
