Pandemic Had Multiplayer Mercenaries in the Works

I'm not sure how I feel about this...I love Mercs, but EA just strip-mined it outta Pandemic and got rid of the studio...had the franchise just been bought outright it wouldn't feel so dirty...but I do kinda feel guilty for being excited about this.

Same here. I mean I liked Mercs 2 for what it was but it was just missing so much of the original's essence that when i was done with the campaign (which went by way too fast) I didn't bother playing it again.

I can't really tell anything specific, because that video is "praaaivaaaht". But Mercenaries as a primarily multiplayer game? Sounds intresting.

Well, why wouldn't they have a multiplayer Mercs in the works? It's a wonder the first two games had no multiplayer mode.

That said, R.I.P. Pandemic. I guess when EA said they "changed" they weren't banking on a recession.
