I've only heard of Dirty Dancing but I have never seen Mr. Swayze's face before either. (But I've heard his name which is actually a bit surprising) I'm sorry to hear he's dead though.MaxTheReaper said:Nope, never seen any of them.dwightsteel said:How have you never seen Patrick Swayze before? Roadhouse? Dirty Dancing? Red Dawn? Ghost? More recently (and slightly more disturbingly) Donnie Darko?
Heard of the majority, though.
He was in Donnie Darko, one of my favourite films therefore he's special to me (in a totally manly way)RAND00M said:He wasn't special even though he was famous.messy said:Well to be fair to them they weren't in Donnie Darko I don't think.Gooble said:While obviously this is a very sad time for family/friends/fans of Patrick Swayze, 3 people die every second; where's the thread for them![]()
dwightsteel said:What? With Keanu Reeves playing the most unconvincing undercover cop ever? He clearly hadn't learned how to filter out Ted "Theodore" Logan at that point. Besides, there is nothing manly about a blonde Swayze, even if it is a heist movie.RockWhore said:Can't believe you didn't mention Point Break! Truthfully, I really liked Point Break. The only real reason I ripped on it was because I truly should have mentioned it in my first post, but forgot, and decided that instead of admitting my error, I would just cleverly make it seem like it was done by choice.RockWhore said:dwightsteel said:What? Well, can't argue much with that one, but Keanu Reeves aside, it's an underrated classic of the early 90's! The foot chase and skydiving scenes alone make it worth watching.
