I think you won't, because you're being shot at, and an irratic move pattern is the best movement pattern for not getting shot. Or something.

I'm not sure what that video proves except that there is at least one guy out there who is a total badass.

Exactly. And now compare this Halo 3 trickjumping video [http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6ViVoFgtUgo] with this Quake 3 trickjumping video [http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b2t38FLYZC0].

Conclusion: Trickjumping is more badass on Quake 3 than Halo 3.
