I kind of have a series of questions, if you would like to help me out that would be great. Or hit the back button.

Hey PC gamers where do I go to find a list of all upcoming PC games?
Also other than steam, where can you buy PC games? My Gamestop doesn't have a PC section...
How can I get a 360 controller setup to work on a PC, or more direct, what program would you recommend I use to set the buttons?
Is there a way or place where you can buy cheap used PC games? Or is that impossible because of Key codes and crap?
Are there any good multiplayer FPS games beside Valve games and Console ports for the PC?
What upcoming or To be released game are you most excited for?

Thanks to anyone who feels like answering one or all of these.

I buy from Play.com/amazon.com, Play used to be incredibly cheap but it's around average now.

Xpadder for the control pad, if you need a program for it.

Don't buy used PC games, for the exact reason you said.

Multiplayer FPS... you can start with Quakelive.com, it's free and pretty much Quake 3, an awesome old school style FPS. It is throwing yourself into the deep end of PC controls though as it is one hell of a faced paced game which requires very good twich aiming skill.

Killing Floor is good, Co-op only and like nazi zombies except a few more types of zombies and a boss at the end. It can be insanely hard, and has hundreds of maps around now.

Unreal Tournement as well of course.

If you have the computer to run it look into Shattered Horizon, zero gravity FPS in space which is different than most things out at the moment, I haven't played it for very long but it was really fun the time I spent with it.

Upcoming game I'm most excited for is Worms: Reloaded, but that's because I'm a Worms fanboy. I highly suggest it though (obviously).

Actually, if it's strictly a single player game, you can find old games on amazon.com. Just make sure you are buying from a selling who has a high rating. I bought several used PC games from amazon.

My local Best Buy has 5x the PC games selection than my local Gamestop. As for cheap games you'll have to look around the internets.

A list of all upcoming PC games would be at www.gamespot.com Just click forward to new releases then skip ahead a quarter or 2.
You can buy brand new pc games for heaps cheap (seriously I got bioshock II for $18 when it was first released) off eBay.
As far as I know the X360 controller is just plug and play as long as the game you're playing is compatible, though you may have to download drivers.
Always buy new PC games as the codes are almost always used. Though with steam you can get them added to your account, it just takes weeks to sort the shit out.
Killing Floor, and Battlefield Bad Company II (not a port) would most likely be your best bet.
Lead and Gold is also good, if you can get anyone to play it with you (seriously there's like maybe 2 servers at any given time)..
The new Alien Vs Predator wasn't bad. Nothing like II, but I have played much worse. Possibly worth a look into.

Gamestop's website keeps a running list of most major PC releases.

Also other than steam, where can you buy PC games? My Gamestop doesn't have a PC section...
Wow, that's really odd...are you sure they don't have a PC section? Anyway any general electronics retailer like Best Buy or Target will have a reasonable selection of recent PC games. There is also Amazon if brick and mortar isn't your thing.

Just plug and play. The drivers do all the work for you and most games do support it. If there is one thing that Microsoft did amazingly well, it would be the drivers for the Xbox 360 controller.

Is there a way or place where you can buy cheap used PC games? Or is that impossible because of Key codes and crap?
No retailer will carry used PC games because of DRM issues. Steam is your best bet.

Are there any good multiplayer FPS games beside Valve games and Console ports for the PC?
Have you tried Killing Floor? I hear that one's pretty popular. And if you're more into realistic war shooters, there is always Arma 2.

What upcoming or To be released game are you most excited for?
WOOOOOOOORRRRRRMMMMMMMSSSSSSS!

They're mostly in computer stores like Best Buy and Fry's. You can also try general stores like Target.

Think this should cover it. [http://support.xbox.com/support/en/us/xbox360/kb.aspx?ID=906347&lcid=1033&category=hardware]

I mostly buy my games via download because they're cheap enough that way, but you'd find used games online.
Honestly though, used games help the industry as much as piracy. Theoretically speaking, they're the same thing. The game developers don't get any money from you buying the already purchased game, so the only difference between selling used games and piracy is being a) legal, b) profitable, and c) more likely to steal potential customers.
I don't mind paying a little extra to help the industry out, IMO.

Plenty of free ones or cheap ones or indie ones.
Like this one(free). [http://ava.ijji.com/]
Killing Floor sounds pretty popular too. [http://store.steampowered.com/app/1250/]

I can only answer your last 2 questions. I'm psyched for Trine 2, and Deux ex.

There are a ton of fps out there, too many to pick from on a whim, but if you want something specific (free, realistic) you can ask me in detail and I'll probably know one.

Another note on the 360 controler, you will ned to pick up the 360 PC receiver if you are using a wireless controler. They run $20 and are well worth it. I use a 360 controler and wireless headset for my PC. You can configure the controler in the control panel, look for the controler setter which even looks like a 360 pad if I recall.

The FPS was born on the PC, there are dozens of grea ones out there. Most FPS games are ports on to consoles from the PC, not the other way around. If you are used to you 360 pad, switching to mouse and keyboard may feel a little odd, but overall it is generally considered the superior method.

As for new releases, just picked up StarCraft 2 (of course) and am looking forward to Deus Ex, and X-com. The Telltale games are always fun too, and I hit up Steam for impulse buy $5 games all the time.

Seems the forum didn't want to take my posts. Best place for old games is Good old Games (www.gog.com).

Quake Live is a great online FPS, and Unreal Tournament 2004 is also really good. Unreal Tournament 3 has met with mixed reactions, I'm not sure why since I haven't played it, but my understanding is it plays the same as previous incarnations, so there's no reason it shouldn't be good.

Guild Wars 2 is the next major game I'm looking forward to, or was until I went down from a gaming laptop to a netbook thanks to hardware failure. Deus Ex is another game I'm looking forward to, and Descent 4 and Thief 4 whenever they finally come out.
