Well, that monitor is definitely your budget option. I've never heard of AOC. It has DVI on it, so you won't need to worry about Display Port at all. If you had two of those monitors, you would need to convert the cable in some form to connect it to your card. I know you can convert Display Port to DVI, and there has to be an adapter from Mini Display Port to DVI as well. If you got a monitor that had Display Port on it, you probably can find a cable that's mini on one end, and standard on the other (just guessing). As for the rest of the monitor, It's got a good contrast ratio (hell, I was happy with 800:1 back in the day!) and a good size as well. It's also 1920x1080, so you can get your 1080p content on it easily.Ishal said:Any monitor will need one mini display port to connect to another monitor?Signa said:I see 4 outputs on that card in the build you showed me (which is a 280, BTW). One DVI (pretty standard for most monitors) one HDMI (Also very standard, and you can use it to plug into your TV) and those mini display ports (Display Port being the latest/greatest video connector technology). Any monitor you buy will need to have one of those connections, or you will need an adapter to allow it to connect, depending on your options.
A mid tower is plenty for anything most people do. Full towers will have more room for extra drives, but since you have only one HDD and no DVD drives in your build, it will be hard to use all that space. I think you get 8 slots in the Antec case. BTW, you might want to get a DVD drive, unless you have an external you plan on using.
Which reminds me. I'll need to shop around for those as well. All I need it one that is 1080p. But I'd like it to be decent sized.
Something like this.

Anything around that but a bit less would be good.
Does the tower and setup come with a CD drive? Or is that what you're recommending with the DVD drive?
The only other thing I think I'll need to nail down is the OS. I'm hoping to get a cheap one, but I don't know what I should go for. I'm not hearing good things about Windows 8. Not that it's bad, it's just... not good. Do any games require certain OS's to run properly?
I don't think you have a CD drive at all in your build. There's slots for the drives, but no drives in them. Even if there was, I'd be hesitant to accept whatever a case manufacturer would shove into their case to bring up its value. You can get a SATA DVD writer for like $20. I personally like the Lite-On brand. Cheap and effective. Probably doesn't matter though.
You can do Windows 8 if you want, but there are some very bad UI decisions that were made while designing it. The worst and most impacting of which is you have to reboot the machine if you want to install unsigned drivers. That Xbox controller dongle I linked at first isn't signed, so you have to jump through a bunch of hoops to get it installed. It works just fine once it is, but it was a STUPID headache. I don't think there is anything that you can't do in Windows 8 that you can do in Windows 7 though. You may choose based on your budget.
