Not sure what you do for a living, but where I work, we have a couple of dead times throughout the day. Once is during build times. We have to compile the software and assets together before running it on a dev kit. That can take a couple of minutes and occasionally we pop on a forum or whatnot to keep up with industry news and such.

As for me, I surf the web during lunch and breaks, as you mentioned.

I generally quite reserved when it comes to throwing things. Although I do own a Saitek Ecplise II keyboard which takes an alarming amount of abuse, especially in the numpad area because it doesn't bother me if those keys break. That and my space bar + right shift have already had it due to my team (Tottenham) drawing with Luton and losing to Birmingham in extra time.
I play it with a few friends over the internet, and the amount of profanities coming through my headset it astounding, usually accompanied by someone else's laughter.

You're playing as Tottenham? Try Sheff Utd trying to stay in the Prem. Funsies...
Beta Arsenal 4-1 one day, lose to Wigan 3-0 the next. Lot's of stuff used to get thrown when I had a desktop. Mouse, keyboard, controllers, headphones anything.
Still addicting though.

So this entire time has been spent combing through the damn video on youtube, downloading it, converting it to a workable format, snipping it, resnipping to get that exact bit then uploading it myself...
