Exclusives are rarer for all platforms due to a mix of ports getting easier and costs rising.
I hope you're right.Like the Deus Ex for example. It's being developed in paralel for all platforms.

Well, I dont really find it a problem. Only one game really annoyed me that I couldnt get for the PC, Heavy Rain, because it was a one of a kind game. Anyway, not many games are console exclusive nowadays...

I think it's mainly because the games overall are getting pretty streamlined into single mode. The amount of either shooters or third person hack and slash games is scary. It's what this new breed of gamers likes to chill with i suppose, so thats where most of development focus goes. Its a business, they want to make money, can't blame them.
Good cRPGS or strategy games are damn rare, there is hardly any decent adventure games either, business sim games are being taken over by facebook gaming. Blame the masses i'd say.

This is what youtube is for.

Since heavy rain = a movie, go online and watch it. (I don't know if you've played it on console, but I certainly wasn't impressed, was definitely looking forward to it too.)

Thank goodness for Eastern Europe then. Most of the PC exclusives come from there and most are pretty good, if not great. Crysis, The Witcher, S.T.A.L.K.E.R. are better than average games. However even Crytec are developing Crysis 2 for consoles.

I'll be pissed off if RDR doesn't eventually make its way to PC. If it doesn't I'll borrow an Xbox and buy a second hand copy of the game, when I'd buy it new for PC. You hear me Rockstar?

There's a reason for that, y'know.
PC Gaming is expensive as hell if you want to keep up with the times, perhaps I'm bitter because I only use my PC for WoW, which is hardly demanding on the hardware, I was looking at the internets and realised something, I could get one of them new skinny glossy black Xbox 360s and an equally nice flatscreen LCD TV to play it on and it'd still cost a helluvalot less than a computer for gaming on. Hell, I could probably buy two of each and it'd still be less expensive.

Perhaps PC games don't generate much revenue since they are generally cheaper to buy than console games. Not to mention it's far easier to pirate (yes, i had to use the P word) PC games than their console counterparts. You don't need to burn them on a disc or anything.

My PS3 disapproves of all these people saying that not many games are console exclusive these days :p

It's a shame that the PC game market doesn't have as much of a buzz as it used to, or maybe it just feels that way ever since i started using consoles a lot more. PC is definitely the most flexible platform for games, i just wish it was cheaper and more accessible to get one up to date.

Even though they are making Crysis 2 for consoles. I think it is going to be worse then the Pc version since the graphics are going to be put down so it will actually run on consoles. Thankfully it will be up to the Crysis standerd on PC if not better.

Well, part of what they are doing is moving it all indoors, sort of. No more big, wide-open spaces, it will have a lot smaller arenas. Not what I'd look for in a sequel to Crysis. It will still look better on a beastly PC, it just won't be as stunning.

That's if you want +100fps.

Xboxs mostly run around the 60fps mark and are Vsynced to that, to buy a computer just to run games at 60fps it really wouldn't cost that much more.

You get what you pay for, you don't need to spend that much to be able to play games at the same quality you can with an xbox.

Does if it's called crysis, that's its major selling point.

PS3 has more than five times the power on any desktop computer in existance. Not fanboy idiocy, fact.
That is the silliest thing I ever heard.
