I don't like being called a "PC nerd" or any variation of "PC enthusiast" but I'll let it slide.
You're most likely using an integrated graphics card which will not run Witcher 2 at all. You can try and see turning down the resolution and all the settings (Including ones in the .ini) but I doubt it. Laptops aren't really made for gaming and the "gaming" laptops you see aren't very portable so you're best off with a desktop (NOT A PREBUILT)

Ew, you have a Lenovo. Why? D:

Aaaanyways, It should be able to run it as others have pointed out. Though, your laptop will probably bluescreen soon after booting up the game.
Because they deliver perfectly fine pc's and have done so for many years?

trust me, even if you pass everything, if you're running a laptop with that kind of equipment it'll burn itself out faster than it takes you to buy a new one. Heck my old laptop ran EVERYTHING I put on it, but it got fried pretty quick. Most laptops are built in a way that high intensive gaming will melt internal components. If not that, burn your lap. I had burn marks on the top of my legs for two months after I got rid of the thing.

Do what I did, drop $1000 on a custom built computer, so that even new high-end graphics games that come out more than two years later can still be ran on it with full settings.

Also get back in the kitchen and make me a sandwich.

You'll be able to run it, but not well. You'll either have to run it on minimum settings and at a low resolution, or you'll have a terrible framerate.

If you're ok with butchering the stunning visuals of the game to play it then you can, but otherwise I think you should hold off on getting the game until you have a better computer.

Lenovos are great but gaming isn't its greatest asset.
Edit: Sorry didn't read close enough.

One Google search, just ONE GOOGLE SEARCH will allow you to find this marvelous site, download a small program and let it check your computers' stats against the required one for your desired game.

Here it is.

Mate, i have used that. Passed EVERYTHING, except for the graphics card.. Oh, my video, pixel and vertex shaders were above the minimal, but for some reason it still said "no" to mah card. Soo Im JUST below the minimal.. Though i feel that since i have a bunch of stuff above the minimal.. Might i make it?
It's YOUR money, I'll feel bad if my advice would cost you money (if I'm wrong).

Lenovos are great but gaming isn't its greatest asset. Can you go into dxdiag and give us the actual graphics card instead of its specs.
Its NVS 3100M

It's a low end card. I'm 90% sure you won't run the Witcher 2

If you know anyone with it, why not just get them to install it on your HD (I presume they have it on Steam) and then you can give it a test shot on their account.

If it works, buy it, if not, leave it alone?

If this is the case then it'll be your actual video card make that is incompatible. My PC couldn't run Magicka 2 purely because I have an intel graphics card :(

There's still a lot of other games you can run. Like the original Witcher to hold you over.

I have it. I DESPISE the combat. Cant stand it. If The Witcher 2 had the same combat style i would NEVER buy it.

You might be able to get away with it, providing everything is set to minimum. Wouldn't hurt to double-check though ^^

EDIT: You may be better off waiting for the 360 version.
