Leilani- 30/30 2MP-Yggdrasil (200 years later)

Many things happened during the disappearance of Leilani. Yggdrasil, while a defensible place, became more isolationist as time when on. All the crops and resources they would need came from the surrounding land. Many feyeath still were spider riders, becoming a rite of passage for young feyeath. Feyeath and spiders formed a strong bond, which allowed Feyeath to use spider's silk for various uses, mostly in clothes and as a building material. As Yggdrasil kept growing, the cooperation between feyeath and thorns allowed for better structures to be made from Yggdrasil and around the surrounding location. The druid magic Leilani had bestowed on her people 200 years prior helped with many advances such as rudimentary medicine, carpentry, but most importantly with farming, helping to feed the population of the growing city.

<spoiler=Yggdrasil>
Helio became a wise sage of Yggdrasil, due to his knowledge of many years and his mastery of riding spiders and druid magic. Many people looked up to him and his wise teachings about life and Leilani. While people still worshipped the statues of Arora, Leilani, and Nissa, it wasn't as universal as it used to be, since no one had seen them in 200 years. People thought that they had died or had left for other things. When Leilani hadn't appeared after several weeks, Nissa became withdrawn. Helio tried to console and help Nissa, but to no avail as she disappeared as well. No one knows where Nissa went, but there were rumors that strange moaning can be heard at night, somewhere within Yggdrasil.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Leilani woke up, trying to stretch her arms. She couldn't since there were so many vines around her. She then got them off using her powers. Next to her was some skeleton, Nirn in origin, covered in vines as well.

"Well that was an interesting night. Didn't think vines and you becoming a skeleton would be a part of it.", Leilani said confused. She then went back in the direction of Yggdrasil.

It was difficult for Leilani to get back, as the surroundings didn't look familiar to her. Eventually she got back to Yggdrasil in shock. It was nothing like she remembered. Leilani started to wonder if maybe she was gone for more than a day.

She walked on near Yggdrasil, getting stopped by feyeath soliders and spider riders the closer she got.

"Halt!", said one of feyeath soliders. "Who are you?"

Leilani was confused by this remark. "What do you mean who am I? I'm Leilani. "

The feyeath solider stood there, shocked at what Leilani said. "Quick. Go get Helio," the solider said. One of the spider riders then went to get Helio.

Went Helio arrived near the outskirts of Yggdrasil, he saw Leilani and became to cry. "I can't believe my eyes. It is you Leilani." He ran up to her, hugging her legs as he did so long ago.

"Helio? I was only gone for a little bit, but given the current circumstances, I feel that isn't the case."

Helio stood up after he had worshipped Leilani. "It's been 200 years since anyone has seen or heard from you. Nissa didn't take it well and has been gone just as long as well."

"200 years? How could I have been gone for that long? You haven't seen Nissa either?" Leilani was full of questions, but at least one was answered. Coming behind Helio and the rest of the soldiers was a figure Lelani had known all too well.

"Nissa!"

"Leilani!"

The two ran up to each other, hugging and kissing each other. "I've missed you so much Leilani. I've become recluse ever since you disappeared," Nissa said, crying into Leilani's face.

"That seems to be the general theme around here. Hasn't felt that long to me."

"Come with me Leilani. So much has happened since you've been gone. I need to tell you about everything that has happened in Yggdrasil since you've been gone," Nissa said smiling with excitement.

Leilani and Nissa held hands, walking into Yggdrasil, talking about everything that occurred while going to Leilani's old room. What was left of it that is.

Gi'zeal ? 24/30AP- 2MP ? The Opulent Rise

The evening sun glanced down onto wide balcony of the Cicera estate, figures sat around a table, the air was filled with the smell of Yshtar.
In her long coat swirling a gourd of wine in her hand the richest woman in the city Henrietta Cicera bid the majority of her guests goodbye.
Leaving only a Nirn barge captain and a Fey with a covered face who had spent the entire meeting in silence, with a smile Henrietta slipped a piece of paper across the table to him.
The barge captain did his best to smile to the sinister figure as well
?My riverfolk can get your goods inland, by the time they reach Harkongrad nobody will ever suspect they were pirated?
The fey gave a slight nod
Henrietta continued the one sided dialogue ?The Yshtar and weapons will be available for your purchase come morning. We thank you for the continued protection of Ghost division?
With another nod the Silent fey left, shortly followed by the barge captain.

Henrietta leaned back finishing her glass. Looking our across the Plateau and bay, seabirds and the occasional drake squabbling on the rooftops watching her various guests leave down the nearby streets.
That was when the Old man and the Wooden Feyeath walked in the door.
?Goldeye, this building is guarded? she said with significance annoyance ?And what the hell is this?? she said indicating the poorly painted animate wooden statue.

Stepping past the Captain, The Model Lazy Farmhand offered it?s hand in greeting ?I am Gi'zeal, glad to seek how well you have been keeping my city? goldeye looked dramatically shocked, and took a seat and a wine to watch things unfold.

Henrietta shook his hand ?Pleased to meet you, Henrietta of house Cicera and the bank of Gi'zeal? then she leaned back dubiously ?Now that is quite the claim to make my wooden friend. It seems that between this city and my bank I have more claim to the title of Gi'zeal than you. But if you are the holder of this land, please tell me how you managed to survive so many centuries??

Gi'zeal opened his arms honestly ?I am a god?

Henrietta laughed at this. With even more humour when the Feyeah flicked himself a gourd of liquid gold out of the air.
Drinking deeply from it Gi'zeal continued ?I chose this city hundreds of years ago to live in my name, a glorious centre for my power?

Her eyes narrowed in a slight threat Henrettia leaned in ?and now you mean to take it back?

Gi'zeal wiped the golden moustache from his painted on fur. ?Not at all, it wold be terrible for me for the people of this city to suffer under the tyranny of a god. I only want to continue this city?s proud values of commerce and greed and you, you can do all this for me, shape this city into exactly what I want without me ever needing to act directly. You have already proved yourself by your very position in life?

The Mogul took a drink ?and what?s in it for me??

Gi'zeal?s smile of gold pained wooden teeth grew wide ??everything?

After wine, and Yshtar and discussions of Hentrettia?s profitable new future the greedy god had left her and the captain to each other?s company. It was time to check in on his fellow gods, he hadn?t given them a thought since he had awoken; Arora?s name had been common around town, but it was unclear if this was a new development, had they disappeared like him? Or had they been working for centuries while he slept.
In the end there was not a great deal he could do about it, and he needed their help now.
Gi?zeal recalled his last contact with another being like himself and resolved to visit Taumel first. he hoped she still monitored her dreamland as he drifted off in the wooden chair.
He noticed a glow about him in the realm of sleep as he asked the strange place in general
"Is the 'great mind' available to talk?"

Taumel was sitting on the floor of the school with Esther and her books. They were mostly left alone, even if some found Taumel's presence awe inspiring. She could feel a presence enter the dreamland and calling out for her. It was no mere mortal she was certain. She divided a small bit of her being to answer this other prodigy while maintaining the conversation with Esther.

"No, I'm not." She smirked. "Nor is it night in my land so whoever you are you could have contacted me directly."

The Reef

A few moments later a wooden Fey with flaking paint and a golden moustache tumbled out of the air in front of her and Esther and smiled at them.
"You'd think I'd have been put off sleep after what happened too. Glad to see you are up and about as well Taumel"

The nearby painted jumped in surprise when they saw something tumble out of thin air and begin speaking. Esther, who had seen far too much while following her grandmother, retained her self-control, but made sure none of the books had been harmed.

"Do you mind if I write this down, Taumel?" Esther asked, after picking up her quill and her papers.

"No, go ahead." Taumel shrugged.

"So who are you? Another like me no doubt, but I don't remember anyone quite so stiff." Though maybe some of the others could always have been thought of as having wood for brains. "I suppose what you want is of more importance than why you have come seeking me."

Gi'zeal eyed the writer in the corner with a bit of unease, he did not mind taumel having a record of this even if he would prefer otherwise but he could prevent the word getting out to any others sealing the room so that information would not pass beyond it he said "I am an avatar of my city, or vice versa if you like. perhaps you've heard of it? your pirates certainly have."
"I've come to you for a bit of assistance on something you warned me about a long time ago. My land seems to have an issue with undying tyrants, and I need to make myself a countermeasure, an a undying schemer to undo tyranny"

"Gi'zeal." Taumel muttered. "Those pirates were never under my command, but now they have gained my protection. Funny how that goes."

She listened, but only wondered why he'd decided to listen first now more than 200 years after it had happened. "If you'd listened to whatever warning I gave in the first place you wouldn't be here, would you?"

Taumel actually smiled.

"Nevertheless, why would an undying schemer be any better for me than an undying tyrant? If anything, the tyrant hasn't made a move in 200 years, but a schemer sounds like they most certainly would."

Gi'zeal waved his hand dismissively
"Your warnings were very correct but, I see this eventuality in the world more as an opportunity than an obstacle. Arora's child and bookworms have done a fine Job of maintaining the land without making a move but this regime is concrete. I do not fear a tyrant because he will bring change I fear a tyrant because he will prevent it, I simply want my own piece to move things behind the scenes so people get what they want out of this life, because if anything is good for me it's mortals thinking they know what they need"

Esther wrote as fast as she could to keep up with the conversation, but when there was a pause she interjected questions of her own.

"Would it be possible to get an account of how this city views us? You called my grandmother and our gang pirates, but we're far more disciplined and skilled than simple mercenaries. I'm sure we've raided this city, however, I would be interested in people's opinions of my grandmother the Banshee."

She was writing down her life after all, which reminded her that she should be with her grandma rather than with Taumel. Who knew what she had gotten herself into?

"I agree, obviously, but it may be far more beneficial for my people if your region remains dormant so to speak. If chaos were to break out we may be taking blows we never wanted, and could have avoided." Taumel shook her head. "I'd like to prevent that, or as you would want yourself, gain on it. I already have a creative destroyer in my ranks. I'm sure she'd appreciate a change to exercise her legions."

"The banshee? her past has got her fearsome reputation around my city, some even call her a sea monster. On the other hand I suspect my chosen for this blessing is already dealing with this monster, or at least her ghosts. If I succeed she would become the ultimate diplomat, I?m sure she could do a great deal to reinforce either peaceful or profitable ties with your society"

Esther wrote it down, but wasn't really satisfied with the answer. The only new information was that some thought of her grandma as a sea monster. She'd laugh, but they were kind of correct in some ways.

"Yes, yes, but would it be possible to talk to any of these people?" She asked. "Maybe someone you wish to get rid off. We'll get any information out of them easily. That's what some of us do for a living. Not me mind you, but others..."

Taumel pondered this proposition for a moment.

"I'm sure she could. Of course, if she's already been dealing with some of us..." Taumel didn't want to lump the Ghost Division together with the Krakes and the painted, because they were on such opposites sides of the spectrum. One group was merciless and brutal, the other intelligent and knowledge-seeking. "She may not be as eager to enforce peaceful or profitable ties when given the power you intend to give her. If anything, she might become the ultimate destroyer or warmonger rather than diplomat."

to the little historian Gi'zeal said
"you might have an invidual if you could snatch them off one of my trade ships, but I am not sure if a survior of the raids would be contemporary. the town seems in rather good shape right now, I have a storyteller who could recount you the history if you like"
to taumel
"I seriously doubt she would favour war, her power comes from control in peacetime not by profitiing from the losses of war and the people of my land are still adversed to unessicary death. they are still of arora's reigon after all"

Esther had been a bit worried that would be the case. There was little information to get from anyone on the other side about their thoughts and opinions on the Banshee, or the Ghost Division for that matter. She knew she wouldn't be getting a live specimen from any trade ship either.

"Oh, that's too bad. We don't take captives." She went back to writing down what the two beings told each other.

"There's gold to be made in war as well." Taumel said, and raised an eyebrow.

She was about to point out how her second tribe had brought home goods and gold to the first one just recently, but thought better of it as it may have belonged to the people from the Mu once.

"No matter, perhaps I'm too cautious with the power I bestow upon mortals. Especially when it seems those who favour me tend to favour death and brutality as well. They've certainly done damage without godly powers."

"Oh he would hardly be a captive, if you only want him to run his mouth he would be a willing and happy guess"
Gi'zeal nodded in agreement with Taumel
"Oh yes, and I?m sure she would rise to the occasion to make some money out of war should it occur but unlikely to be her first choice.
Brutality seems to have arisen from your absence rather than your action. maybe with application of your power it can be rectified
So you will help?"

"Guest...?" Esther tasted the word in her mouth as if it was strange and foul. "I'm not sure what you mean by that."

"I will help, but I hope you realize that war is very likely to occur from these actions you want to set into motion." Taumel shrugged, not like it would be her war unless she got too involved though. "Yes, my absence." She sighed. The sharpened knife that sheds blood could be a useful tool to have. The death of thousands an invaluable experience for the right person.

"Guests are like prisoners but they spout information when you let them eat all your food and stay in your home instead of slowly inflicting physical and mental trauma. its a bit more expensive but far cleaner." to emphasise her point Gi'zeal grabbed a nearby object and took a bite from it
he noticed taumel's sigh, maybe she had made mistakes, it was strange to think she was so adverse to violence, between her and Arora conflict might be highly unfortunate.
"Thank you from this help but on the matter of it leading to war. want a bet?"

Esther was adverse to this guest thing, especially after the wooden Fey grabbed a piece of the ornamental wall and began to eat it. She felt horror run through her, which she couldn't remember ever having before.

"We kill because the Great Mind told the Banshee too, but also because it's the best way to do things. I have a list..." Esther began looking through her notes and books. She had indeed a list compiling all the reasons in favour of their murderous lifestyle.

"I'm not the betting kind of person, now am I?" Taumel said. "But to humour you, go ahead and tell me what such a bet would be."

Smiling Gi'zeal said "I bet that when war begins it will not be from the actions of your banshee or my diplomat, if I am wrong I would give you the profits of this war. if I am right you give me support in the another" it was time to see how confident the cagey great mind was with her new naval might.

Gi'zeal laughed at the list and at the concept that taumel had set all this in motion "well I might just have to take a copy of this, if only to show that the only part of the banshee's reputation that is incorrect is that about her level of organisation."

"What!" Esther almost shouted. "What do they say about our organization? We're the most disciplined and organized force in existence!" She grinned cockily. "There's no one like us, but I can't show you this list then if you want to copy it. It's secret. For example though, one reason to kill everyone is the fear effect it will have on everyone else. It's psychological warfare."

"Such a bet would be stupid for me to accept. It would seem you've got information that I don't if you can make it confidently. It's almost offensive that you suggest it to me of all individuals." Taumel thought herself above the rest of the prodigies intellectually. It was what she had as a benefit over them. "It would lock me into a situation where I either go to war against who you want me too or against you. My chances for either would seem decent with the knowledge I have now, but I don't want a war I can't win for certain."
Taumel grinned right back

"fear tends to turn your foes into incomprehensible monsters, most think the banshee is a nightmare who strikes without reason out of nowhere. leaving no survivors" Gi'zeal was quite happy with the prideful response "allthough I hardly think that is an inferrior image to a well regimented force"

Disappointed Gi'zeal dishonesly concedes "my knowledge is that of my own, your and our friend Arora?s motives, we would be unlikely to pursue war without good reason or confidence. But other gods... I am not so sure. But you are correct I cannot speak I cannot assure you victory over anyone besides myself, and so 'great mind' you cannot cheat the fun of such a bet by knowing your success beforehand. Thank you for the help I'm sure my diplomat or her people will be in contact, and give a shout if your historian changes her mind and wants to perform a more... humane interview."
With that he vanishes the model with the chunk bitten out of it clattering to the floor..
Cicera Estate

looking over the languishing Mutar lady Gi'zeal began to manipulate the power of her... promotion.
Taumel?s power and relations would be sufficient but it would be worthwhile to extend an offer of partnership to those he presumably shared the land with

To Arora he said ?I wish to create a representative to administer in my own name along with your brave child and wise tribune. If you would help my city and your region prosper in the future. My city that might I add you seem to have had minimal effort in creating for me?

To Thumero ?Wherever you are Iron Psion, you have Ajax, Arora has his son. I wish to have my own player of power on the mu, might I ask for your support?"

Arora - 25/30 AP, 2 MP - Silverholt, 212

"Hmm..." Arora murmered, looking up half way through her preparation of the core. "Gi'zeal is making a demi-god. Katya, I need you to find up all records of a woman called 'Henrietta Cicera'."
"Henrietta?!" gasped Katya.
"Ha!" Sraker grunted. "I don't think we'll need the book for this one."
"You know this person?" Arora asked, looking from one official to the other.
"She runs the Bank." Sraker explained, reaching into one of his tunic pockets. He removed a fistful of black and grey coins, which he showed to the goddess. "It was her who established this currency; silvereyes and blackeyes."
He held up one of the blackeyes next to his own black eyes, grinning a shit-arse grin.
"Blackeyes, you see?"
"Is that why they're called that?" Katya asked, amazed.
"Of course it is! How do you, of all people, not know that?"
"I thought they were named that because the most common form of trade in the City of Gi'zeal is a blackeye for a black eye. As in the bruise. As a result of being mugged. Because of the crimerate, you see?"
"Seriously? That's a tavern joke, you ignorant-"
"Sraker!" Arora interrupted angrily. "Please try to control your ego. I don't care what you call your coins, I just want to know of I should support this Henrietta's ascendance to demi-godhood."
Sraker scowled, haughtily turning away to light his pipe. Katya gave the demi-god a nervous look before addressing Arora.
"Like Lord Protector said, she's a very successful business woman. Has a lot of influence. The only other thing I know is that she was in the running for the last Tribune election. Very successful in that regard too; it pretty much came down to me or her..."
"But it was you who won in the end." Arora finished.
"Yeah. I don't think she was too happy about it either."
"I see..." said Arora, thinking. "She does not sound incredible paletable... Then again, nothing that god does ever is. As long as she plays by the rules, I think we can work with her."

Assist Gi'zeal in making a demi-god.

+4 Love. Give Henrietta a sincere respect for and adherence to the Aroran values of all of Mucron (the Mu region and its cities), as well as those of her own city.

Bolt and Gi'zeal -30/24 AP ?Fanged hill
Flanked by a group of Kaish tided by the wrist carrying a long spear a Changeling in a decorated robe aproached the home of the emperor and called "Oh mighty bolt! your recent order of slaves have arrived!"

Bolt walked out of the palace much to the shock of the slavers "Just call me Bolt, what the hell do you want." Bolt said as he looked a them with an annoying face

the Changeling leapt back with shock at the appearance of the massive creature "By the depths! my emperor you have grown! what do we have to thank for your new ascension?"

Bolt looked at them as a smile came to his face "I'm not that knock off who is now in a jail cell, I'm the real thing" Bolt looked at the slaves and said "Nice to see some new immigrants to fanged hill"

the lizard took a look over it's shoulder as though contemplating fleeing "so uh, you now rule here? you inherited his land and armies and spies? well these slaves are fully paid so they are yours to take" he hands them over and begins to back away.

Bolt looked at the slaves and told his people to untie their new friends then turned to the slavers and said "Ok, now your going to give me all the others slave you have for free and stop the slave trade all together"

the lizard laughed nervously and began to leave "uh... very funny my lord, but I?m sure my masters will disagree"

Bolt stomp his foot down causing the ground to rise blocking them. Fury came to his eyes as he screamed "I HAVE NO MASTER BUT I'M WILLING TO GIVE YOU 2 MORE OPTIONS, GIVE ME ALL THE SLAVES YOU HAVE ON HAND AND CUT OFF ALL ARE TRADING ROUTES OR DIE! YOU CHOICE!"

The lizard just ran for it abandoning his slaves yelling over his shoulder "your predecessor was far more reasonable about thiiiiiiiisss....."

before he could get away Bolt stomped his foot on the leader of the party and asked HOW CAN PEOPLE LIKE YOU SLEEP AT NIGHT? WOULD ANYONE MISS SCUM LIKE YOU? Bolt then started to charge up his horn and was about to kill him when he heard screaming. it was his people running away in terror, he then looked back at the slaver and saw him cry. Bolt then lifted his foot turned around and told him to go.

Gi'zeal- 30Ap 2MP ? Spies across the world
In dozens of cities and hundreds of small villages spies long enslaved in the service of the emperor received their first word from their home in the smoking jungle.
The original masters reunited they had a specific order, they had the opportunity to break cover.

Across courts and councils lower members approached the higher, whispers in ears or words to the chiefs, Changelings in disguise or known spoke to the highest authority they could find.

?I need to speak with Bjorn?
...
?The people of Yggdrasil must know!?
...
?Get word to the Kaiser?
...
?I have vital information for Veira?
...
?The returned blood witch may want to hear this?
...
To the highest authority they could reach the spies relayed their story

?I was once the enslaved servant of a tyrant known as emperor bolt, my mind was not my own. I spied for him and fed his regime information of your lands and people but this tyrant has fallen and my mind is free. I am a traitor and you should deal with me accordingly but I wish to undo any amount of damage I have done, The Tyrant is gone but he has left the neighboring land of genesis devastated: people are scattered and confused, the lands requires a great recovery. In at the core of the emperors former lands a great and terrible beast has taken his place sitting upon the fanged hill in an rage. These lands that could again be so fertile and prosperous are ripe for the taking and you can only help by stepping in to provide much needed stability?

A few of these speeches were soon followed by the words

?Huh? What? Where are you taking me? No! no! please?.?
Then a large amount of screaming.

Taumel - 26/30 Ap, 2mp - The Lucent Reef

"Give me what you wrote down." Taumel told Esther after Gi'zeal had left. "I need to make sure no one gets ahold of it until after this has blown over."

Esther sulked, as if she couldn't be trusted with the safekeeping of secrets, but this was no normal secret she supposed. It was a secret between her and two higher beings on the level of gods. She gave the papers she had written it on to Taumel, who hesitated for a moment. Was it right to place so little trust in a capable mortal of her own people? No, furthermore it was unlikely anyone would find these papers and escape alive. They wouldn't be able to steal from a thief without getting noticed.

"Nevermind, keep them safe somewhere." Taumel gave the papers back to Esther, and smiled. "We've got two armies willing to kill anyone who steals from us."

Esther wondered what the second army was, because she hadn't seen many signs of such large scale organization. There were guards and scouts wearing black, but little else.

--------------------

Kaiser Ava II

The Kaiser was surprised by this outburst the man made about spying for someone named Bolt, and how some land had been destroyed by a Tyrant. She smiled patiently and reassuring.

"Oh, there's no need to be so dramatic. Everyone makes mistakes. If you truly want to repent I suggest you travel to these lands you speak of to aid those in need."

She waved her hand dismissively then continued with her meal of the best fruit in the reef. It had its benefits to be the Kaiser, even if it was a title with little power behind it as far as she was concerned.

"If you have any friends that wants to go with you they can do so."

---------------------

The Dead Mother

She was about to meet with this Banshee on her ship when one of the black monk scouts came up to her assistant to tell him something. She didn't catch all of it herself as she was deaf, and could only talk with others through the language of hand signs that had developed within the Black Hand.

Her assistant soon told her about how some spy had come out as a traitor to the Kaiser, who had told him to leave the reef to travel to the nation he'd been spying for. The Dead Mother figured it was the Kaiser's lenient way of exiling someone, or maybe leaving it up to those in the background to deal with him as they saw fit.

The Dead Mother only made one handsign in return, before walking up the plank to the ship of the Banshee. Her assistant was delayed a bit in trying to find someone to carry out the order his master had given, but he joined her on deck soon enough. He knocked on the cabin door that was guarded by two muscular Kaish.

-----------------

The Black Hand

The changeling who had come out as a traitor to the Kaiser was found packing his belongings with the intention to leave. He never saw them coming before they had knocked him out.

When he awoke, he awoke to a dark room lit by a fire in the corner. His arms were tied above his head. There were two other individuals in the room that he could make out. They didn't speak to each other at first, but they seemed to move and react as if they did.

They laughed as they sharpened their knives, keeping a casual conversation about current events and how the Ghosts were pretty pleasant individuals despite what most of the reefers thought about them. They were a breath of fresh air considering how dull life could be in the reef at times.

They kept the conversation up as they began to cut into his body. They started around his face, cutting along the cheeks and peeling the skin away. It didn't take long before one of them laughed, and made a joke about how they should make a bet about who could get the biggest single piece of skin removed. The other one agreed to this bet.

The changeling eventually began to scream about how the Kaiser had said he was free to go, which his torturers mainly ignored. He began to beg for mercy when it didn't work, and then tried to bargain his way out of the situation. They mocked him, asking where this emperor of his was and if he didn't care to save him.

The two dragged the event out for as long as they could, leaving their captive alone for long periods of times when they needed a break. They never gave him any food or water. They kept carving along his body, peeling off the skin and comparing pieces of it to the largest one they currently had until a new piece was found to be larger.

Anyone else who had spied for this emperor or other forces was treated with a similar fate when discovered. The Black Hand was eager to get their hands on any spies, or anyone found leaving the city for sudden unexplainable reasons, after this first changeling's confession.

Oswald ? 25 Ap, 2 MP ? Dusk City

?What to do, what to do.? Oswald thought as he slowly made his way around the city. After the fiasco with Bolt was over, he had nothing else to do. He was bored and he couldn?t go back to the library at the moment. He sighed to himself as he watched the residents walk by him. It was then he spotted a smithy within the city. He walked in to inspect some of the merchandise of the store. What he found made him less than impressed. While the Darkspawn specialized in swords, this smithy had average weapons at best. They?d do however.

He picked out one of the higher end looking swords before walking towards the smith and saying. ?I?d like to purchase this weapon.? The smith gave him a bored look before replying. ?That?ll be 200 treacles stranger.? Oswald had been paying attention to the barter system in the city. He?d figured out that ?money? in this city was just pure Darkness shaped into the form of money. Only a select few could make it but he was The Dark One. He simply reached behind him and used some of the shadows of the room to instantly make the treacles. ?Here you are.? Oswald responded as he handed the Darkspawn the treacles. With the money in hand, the smith made his way over and got him the sword and sheath for said sword. With his new item in hand, Oswald made his way out of the shop and into a more secluded part of the city where shadows and stone were the only things around. He poured his energy into the weapon transforming it into something more.

Bjorn could feel something happening. He wasn?t exactly sure what but someone nearby was trying to something. A powerful item if it came into his possession and one he could use to protect his kind. He poured some of his own energy into the process. Shaping the item with his powers.

Standard issue sword given out to soldiers.

The majority of Darkspawn are proficient with swords, ranging from short swords to great swords. While they can use bows, it is preferred by most Darkspawn to use a sword.

Difficulty: 13 Regional Action Cost: 5 AP; +4 Darkness, +2 Death +2 Shadows

-Forge a +1 magical item.

The Bane of Light.

The Bane of Light is a sword crafted by Oswald himself. It is a sword made from the energy from the Dark. Thus it does large damage to anything of the light while also giving the victim a poison made of pure darkness that slowly consumes the victim over time, going as far as to damage the soul of said victim. If said victim dies from poison, their soul will be consumed by the Dark. With the aid of shadows it would give the item the ability to cut through pure darkness. Dissipating darkness and making it easier to see.

Just a little thing that shows what a Consumption would look like. For your enjoyment.

Bolt - 25/30 2MP Dusk City

It was a normal day in Dusk City when a massive lightning bolt hit the ground. when the dust settled all the darkspawn saw was Bolt walking at them. Bolt told them "I'm the great Bolt, I'm here....." Before he could finish all the darkspawn ranaway in terrer screaming "We're are going to die, Emperor Bolt is here". Bolt stood there for a few seconds before saying "ok, saying my name is Bolt was a bad idea."

Word quickly reached Bjorn that Emporer Bolt had entered the city. He quickly donned his armor and grabbed a few of his Darkspawn to fight the terror. Upon arriving at the scene Bjorn was confused to say the least. This wasn't the Emporer Bolt he had seen. Bjorn squinted beneath his hood as he felt the intensity of the power that radiated off the being. He immediately thought. "It can't be... One of the old gods?" Bjorn kept his cool however as he asked. "Who are you?" Likewise Oswald had felt the energy within the city and immediately went to investigate. When he saw Bjorn and Bolt conversing he stuck to the sidelines and watched the event play out.

Bolt looked at him with a serious face ask "are you willing to do trading with my people, we have cut ties with some jackasses and you guys look like you need some help"

Bjorn felt his pride rise to the front when Bolt said they looked like they needed some help. The Darkspawn were strong and his people. They didn't need anyone's help. On the other hand he knew that their current relations would eventually lead to ruin. With a quick internal debate that lasted only a few moments, he responded. "We would be willing to trade with you. However we'd like some compensation for what your people have done to mine."

Bolt put his hands up and said "Ok, I can think of no other payment then this" then a lightning bolt came down, reveling Emperor Bolt. "How dare you tie up a God you imposter" Emperor Bolt screamed

Bjorn smiled lightly as he watched the self proclaimed emporer squirm in his restraints. "Please, you're no more a god than I am. Plus I'm far closer to a god than you'll be anyways." He looked back up towards Bolt and say. "This is a start. I'd like a few more things in the future. Nothing major, just some supplies is all. But we can deal with that later, for now enjoy your time in our city." He motioned for two of his men to start dragging "Emporer Bolt" away. "I apologize but I can't give you a tour myself. I need to deal with certain undesirables on my end." He finished as he turned and followed the two men carrying the false god. "I do you hope you enjoy yourself."

Bolt eyes lit up as he said "Your talking about the spys, please don't hurt any of them they were under mindcontral"

Bjorn stopped but motioned for the two Darkspawn to keep on dragging the false god to the capital. "Unfortunately Old One, the spies did invade us. They could have information that I don't want leaking out. Unless you can think of a way around this I can't let them live."

Bolt then looked at him and said "I can give you any gift you want, with my powers I can do anything to anyone if you give me thoses spys I will give your people anything you want like powers or wealth.

Two hundred years couldn't prepare him for the surpise he felt at that moment. Bjorn was barely able to keep his front up from the surprise that the god would offer him such things in exchange for simple spies. He sighed before saying. "Let me think it over. I don't know what my people want and it'll take time before we decide what we want. Rest assured you'll get your spies back safely."

"Thank you" Bolt said as he sat down and waited

Thumero - Somewhere in the Steelcoast Swamp - 30/30 AP - 2 MP

His head felt like it was splitting open, and his eyes slitted with daggers. He had tried to think back and found his memories to not be a fog. To his horror the memories rushed in like syringes in his fore, eyes, roof of his mouth, and the base of his skull. His nerves acted up in steaks and striations across him and each breath feel like he was drowning. They were all he could focus on, his own will be damned. Data trickled in the darkness and once again it came too fast; the knowledge left him and all that lingered was like a phantom that phased through his very being. It left him feeling sick and not at all himself. For what felt like a long time he wanted to remove portions of his armor-skin just to find out why his head was in pain, and only his head. 'Wait...'

His eyes slitted open and saw streaks of light beaming at him in a darkness. The trickle of data that had been fed into Thumero's mind started to be felt, and he knew that he was no longer in the volcano. There was no scorching heat, and the stray thoughts that oozed out from the mortals were not at all like the ones back in these lands. There was a single-minded devotion to three goddesses that meshed every other concern of theirs in pocket where none could enter or return. He could only guess that this was the product of the others who escaped with him. He wanted to see more in the darkness and found to his surprise a clarity from the neural net built by Taumel and the Psion long ago. Green; lots and lots of greenery and mists where his inner eye could see. Nirn-folk had carved a fortress from the forest, and lived like they were gods themselves. He could see more beyond the dark but a colorless fog hazed his sight when he peered closer for something greater. Yet unlike all these other times, the dizzying strain lessened as his gaze tunneled to accomodate Thumero's curiosity. Shadows and fancy mingled in the fog along with something that thrummed with power not unlike his own.

Here he saw a warped mirror of what his actions yielded in Silverholt and the lands around Mu. Memories came back to him how he had created these crystals long ago to protect himself, yet in his time he ignored that which he made. That ignorance had led to the things he saw as he reentered Isla Maranga'nawe long ago; the skies were grey and lit with purples and azures that seemed unnatural and took a life of its own. A pregnant pause shuffled amongst the mortals even as thoughts of jubilation overechoed the pause. The Ebonbark Bay and parts of the river plains were the eye of the storm of change, and at the end little would be the same when the storm would subside. There would only be a matter of time before the peoples of the land would come to the volcano not with reverence to this Maranga'nawe, but with the urge to take all they could from the roaming island. There would still be the shamans and those who would still regard the island as its own entity, but in the public there would sit a demon in their minds telling them to watch as the island dies and that there will come a time to inherit the godhood, or at least its plunder. In thinking back Thumero had dismantled Maranga'nawe if she even existed in his search for her or something that was true.

He could see now that somewhere in the green was the Psion, but that he could not move. He tried to but felt something in his brain pull at him. Fluids that meant to numb and strengthen his body were not there and zapped all thought of escape. His body was gone, but what stopped him was how roots and debris had enmeshed him so that it was like he became an extension of the prison rather than just a prisoner. It closed doors in his mind and made him feel like he was being absorbed body and soul for his actions.

A thought came that perhaps he was punished by the god of the volcano for being a poison that needed to be controlled; the darkness that currounds him would make enough sense as some attempt to be rid of him. But that made no sense; if there was a god, he would have felt its presence already. So what about this being self-inflicted? As he entered the volcano and saw all his deeds laid before him and found false worth, perhaps he wished to undo all he did after the fact. That made more sense as Thumero felt a growing... disquiet in his being since the threat's destruction. He thought more and could not connect it to his position; he was that way from being denied the chance to fight this enemy where he was, imagining some grand fight to show him the proof of his own existence to him. Memories fluttered in how people had converged on the volcano with him; he heard no dialogue but could see people enter the caves. The first wave were people he recognized from the island looking for him to partake in the celebrations. He... honestly could not remember what had happened in the processions, though he suspected that the smoke from a strange herb had burrowed into his thoughts. Then came the second wave of mortals; they looked nothing like the ones from the mainland or the Isle. They found him or at least where he sat in the magma caves, they started to glow white, and then in his mind's eye saw the walls and river to shift and overflow in ways that it should not have. For a moment the world in Thumero's vision turned mad.

His thoughts began to spiral as he noticed how all these thoughts - while attractive - were utterly based in supposition and started to feed off of one another. It start to hurt in a different way to dwell on the past; whether the volcano god had intervened, or the damage was his own doing, or even if the threat from before was behind his sudden state, they burrowed holes into his mind that made decisions from him.

And then his power came to him. His mouth screamed but no voice came out, but a psionic torrent came pouring in and rushed past his thoughts with no sign of stopping. Whatever they touched felt something splinter as a new horizion formed in their own inner eye. The inheritance of Maranga'nawe; the uplifiting of individuals, and other things, but crucially was how his will bled in the darkness to flood all it touched. In the Singing Plateau-lands, the cursed tribe of Nirn could feel great pain echoing in the sky and prayed to the one of the Eternal Blue for peace and protection. All would feel a hand in their chest and hot iron pour into them. In this lnd however - where Thumero was buried - they could feel something move, small at first but soon would shake the entire land for the Psion's wish for light to touch his eyes. If his body has been destroyed, then he will fight the world that has trapped him.
Starting off, Thumero will take an extra [+2] to his Psionics domain; being reduced to a head has caused him to think less as a life-form and more of an eldritch entity. His own restraint is unbound and exposes his own physical health to the elements. He does not feel like himself and has fixed his gaze on what is still with him as he seeks to reestablish his physical form and not fade.

Over time Isla Maranga'nawe had changed from Thumero's actions; amongst how it moved and fertilized the land, it also spewed the psionic mineral in the sky. It first affects the inhabitants in small ways, but after constant exposure the people began to use psionic power on their own and left them questioning the nature of the volcano.

Onto the meat of the matter; Thumero shall assist in the creation of Ar'guran's forging, and Gi'zeal's Demigod; things have occurred that make it impossible for him to refuse. [+6] in Psionics - I hope - should go into all these things from uplifting a few mortals with greater understanding and power of the mind, to gathering sheer energy for the forging of these items.

As for Thumero's action. He'll try to lift Yggdrasil and satellite trees next to it into the air, making it a floating island by consequence. [+6] in Psionics should go here for the act of lifting a large group of land with... I'm guessing 13 as DC.
Leilani- 26/30 2MP-Yggdrasil

"Oh I didn't realize so many things happened since I was gone," Leilani told Nissa. They had been talking most of the night, amongst other things.

"Yep. Yggdrasil has mostly kept to themselves since you disappeared. We see other races, but not many." Nissa gave Leilani a hug. "I'm just so glad to see you're back again."

"Same, even though it hasn't been as long for me. Well at least things have been good in my absence. Though I think Yggdrasil should try to interact more with other civilizations. I imagine most other places haven't seen the stuff we have to offer. I realize we have done fine on our own, but I feel like we lack in other things due to our isolation."

"How would you accomplish that though? Most of the people within Yggdrasil are focused with either protecting or cultivating the land. Would be quite difficult."

"It would Nissa, except I'm a God. I can inspire some of the populace to become adventurous/traders, exploring outside the swamp and seeing the rest of the world. Just like this. Leilani snapped her fingers.

DC 11: Inspire 2000 mortals for life

Leilani will inspire some of the populace of Yggdrasil, making them become more adventurous to explore outside the swamp and the rest of the world, breaking their isolation. Leilani's hopes are to bring trade of goods and knowledge into and out of Yggdrasil.

New domain : +2 Revelation: Due to her 200 year absence and current state of Yggdrasil, Leilani knows that things need to change within Yggdrasil and elsewhere. Leilani can now untap latent powers or ambitions within people, making them easier to help revolutionize Yggdrasil and the world. She can also bring dark memories/secrets within people, immobilizing them with fears from the past.

Venari - Silverholt - 30/30 AP, 2 MP

Venari gave little recognition to Arora as she passed by him, his eyes briefly followed her form before his mind focused back on the situation at hand. When he lost sight of her he oddly felt part of himself follow them off to whatever they were doing, he was unsure of why but it didn't feel it required investigation in the face of everything else.

After a day or so, the Nirn that had ran from him returned with more soldiers. They first attempted to behead him which left their blades melting to nothingness. Then after starting a fire they attempted to burn him on a pyre which had no effect. And then after dragging him through the snow and into the arctic thinking that sunlight would destroy him they left him to die, only to return in further confusion to find him still alive.

Eventually realizing that they couldn't kill him he was dragged to a hut near the lodge that he had built so long ago to be left to an Elderly Nirn. The Nirn asked him questions, questions that would lead nowhere in the mans confusion over the man seen as immortal before him, questions that for the most part turned into him hypothesizing in the face of the silence. After a few days Venari began to respond to him, giving answers that could be best described as cryptic to the mans rather simple mind, it to Venari if it wasn't for his own confusion over it would mirror the events of his original meetings with the Nirn.

Eventually more came, more elders, smarter elders. They asked him questions that they would understand the answers to, some in the vein of the first mans questions and some not so much.

After a few days of slow methodical questioning the realization came to them that they were dealing with their lost lord. Something which brought simultaneous joy and alarm to them. When he wasn't answering them he was silent, motionless, and had a look of deep sadness. Their understanding of the situation was small and they hadn't anticipated his return, much less as they saw him now.

As the Scholars began to discuss what to do with him he smiled to himself briefly at their recognition of him. He had thought himself likely forgotten. Looking deeper into their minds he began to read them and as he looked he began to channel into them. If his memory hadn't been lost completely, and his ways were carried as he saw in them then perhaps in some way he could start to begin again.

He increased their awareness of reality, both through their senses and through their mind. The change in awareness would come slowly but in time their perceptions of physical reality would become closer to Venari as their minds and their senses developed and grew in precision and utility. Developing new senses entirely without fresh organs to show for them.

As he altered them he oddly felt himself channeling into something else as well. A few silver specks of what looked like dust appeared around Arora's object, something which preceded the formation of odd almost metallic patterns upon the shifting surface of it.

- Bless the Nirn scholars of Silverholt with an increased awareness of reality, through both their senses and their minds.
- Action is difficulty 9, with a cost of 3 AP. Total domain bonus applied to the roll is +6.

- Should have 27/30 AP at end of turn.

- Assist Arora in her creation using +2 Purity and +2 Change this turn. Cause the manipulations of the Lithosphere by the object to be more precise and less likely to have side effects in both the lithosphere and elsewhere.

Gi'zeal

Gi'zeal's, along with the other gods who assisted him, changed Henrietta Cicera into a higher being, making her one of the best diplomats the world had ever seen.

Domain +2 diplomacy: She would be a master of manipulating the the flow of emotions of negotiators and motives, the back and forth of nations in times of peace and war.

-2 Order. As useful as order can be, especially when others are forced in line, Henrietta would hate anyone using it on her. She'd relish in chaos, but find it harder to deal with order. It would include any deal she does with others, a nation or partner may be more useful if forced into a chaotic situation. She'd rather manipulate the world into change and chaos, with new players on the board than dealing with the same ones for too long.

Ar'Guran

The skull was able to hold the spirit of Viera's lover, gaining newfound knowledge and a weak sense of self. The skull itself was attached to Thumero's body that Arora had given as a gift.

Arora

Arora took the golem core back to where she originally made it, changing it to that of an earth elemental. This new core could now affect the soil and lithosphere of the planet.

Bolt

It started raining above Fanged Hill and the surrounding land. Plants started to grow again where it had been barren land. Fanged Hill was going to return to how it was 200 years ago, maybe even better looking than it was.

Venari

The Nirn that had been questioning Venari now had a greater awareness of reality. It confused some of them at first, as there were new sensations and things they never thought of, but they adapted quickly to their new awareness.

Taumel

With the enchantment around Zheler, any native Feyeath of the reef that painted their face was able to breath and swim underwater, gaining access to the city. It had alreaby been common for the Feyeath of the reef to have their faces painted as opposed to not, but now it served a purpose.

Leilani

Leilani succeeded in inspiring some of her Feyeath, making them more adventurous and willing to explore the outside world. This ended the long isolation they had, spreading their culture and trade to various parts of the land. They also received other cultures and ideas from the people they visited as well.

Thumero

With all the power Thumero used, it seemed like Yggdrasil wasn't even moving an inch. Then rumbling and shaking occured. Yggdrasil and some of the land surrounding it started to lift up into the air. It went up high in the sky before stopping in the sky, just below the clouds.

Era

Era blessed Miranna, similar to what she did with Lucian. She made her blood acidic and able for her to use it however she pleased in liquid or crystallized form.

Oswald

Oswald imbued the sword he got from the weaponsmith, making darkness appear everywhere throughout the sword. It was the perfect weapon against light as no such light could even affect the blade.

Taumel - 26/30 Ap, 2mp - The Lucent Reef

After Taumel had proven herself to the reefers, she was given a whole new level of attention that reminded her of why she had remained mostly anonymous when first arriving at the reef those twohundred years ago. A banquette was held to celebrate the return of Taumel the White, where food and entertainment were bountiful.

Taumel herself felt awkward among all of these mortals, painted and krakes who hailed her as if she was a goddess. It was what the other prodigies called themselves, but she had no ambitions to act as anything else than a guide to these people.

The diverse Ghost Division joined the party as day turned to night, despite minor complaints from some of the painted. The banquette became a lot more loud and rowdy. No one seemed to mind that aspect for long once the fermented fruit were brought out. It was a party unlike anything Taumel had ever seen, and it made her feel even more out of place. There were Ghosts, painted and a couple of Krakes that offered themselves to the goddess. She turned them down, but some of them didn't give up right away and took her blushing the wrong way.

------

The Banshee

Lailesha had been asked to meet with someone who claimed they held power within the Lucent Reef, and wanted to welcome her. She wasn't sure what she had been expecting, but the old Feyeath lady that appeared was not it. Of course, compared to her she was a youngling. Lailesha had been blessed with youth when turned immortal.

Their conversation was formal for the beginning of it. Lailesha talked directly to the old fey, but her assistant was the one who had to translate her words. She mostly ignored him when she realized the other fey was not being rude. Someone had done a number to her at some point, and Lailesha was surprised when she opened her mouth to show that she had no tongue to speak with.

The handsignals reminded Lailesha of her time in the Black Hand, when she was much younger and ambitious. She brought it up as subtle as she could to gauge their reactions to the name, and to her pleasure she found that the Black Hand was still a name you did not throw around casually. The assistant held a knife to Lailesha's throat so fast she knew she'd been correct.
However, they were visibly shocked when she grabbed his hand and forced him to cut her throat on the blade. Other than an amount of blood being spilled on the table, nothing happened. She should have died if she had been what they thought she was, but alas, she hadn't been in a long time.

The conversation took a much more interesting turn after that. The Banshee told The Dead Mother how she had been the first leader of the Black Hand, but as the gods themselves feared her ambition she was exiled and made immortal. The Dead Mother was fascinated by her story, and asked enough questions to make The Banshee remember her dead husband, how he had been when they first met. The Banshee had questions for The Dead Mother as well, and when she was told she didn't mind any question in particular she felt confident in asking her anything without feeling rude or callous to her suffering.

They passed hours like that, without even noticing themselves how quick the time passed in the other's company. It wasn't until the assistant yawned that they noticed it had gotten dark outside. The Dead Mother asked him to find someone who could take his place for the rest of their conversation if he was going to yawn in their presence. Lailesha was fairly certain there was a threat in there somewhere, but she couldn't understand all of these new hand signals. They had evolved so much.

The Banshee and The Dead Mother kept their conversation going until the dawn came after she had changed assistant. Lailesha didn't honestly feel like she had a lot of friends in the world, being an immortal meant she had chosen those away. It was painful enough to experience the death of her husband and son. The Dead Mother was not like anyone else though, because she was in a way both her equal, her descendent and she was willing to talk about topics no one else could. Except for maybe Taumel, which made Lailesha wonder where her granddaughter was. Esther would hate her for not letting her sit in on this conversation between two powerful individuals, especially when one of them was the one she was chronicling the life of.

----------

Taumel - 26/30 Ap, 2mp - The Lucent Reef

Taumel was saved from the drunk individuals of the banquette by a request. Esther sat down next to her at the table, and sat quiet for a while seemingly in deep thought considering something. The other Ghosts were watching them intently with grins on their faces.

"So, uh, Taumel..." Esther rubbed her neck and looked at the ground. "I know I'm not a reefer or anything, but could you give me a tour of that underwater city they claim to have?"

Taumel raised an eyebrow, considering how the evening was going she had been waiting for something of another nature entirely. She didn't answer right away, which Esther seemed to take as hesitance.

"I'm trustworthy, I promise. I even burned the papers where I wrote down that conversation earlier, then I ate the pieces." Esther opened her mouth as if she thought Taumel could see into her stomach. "A lot of the time I had to remember many details of events while going hours without being able to note them down. It gave me a decent memory when we were raiding or fighting." She sighed. "Look, I just want a chance to explore this area where my grandmother came from."

"She wasn't here when Zheler, the underwater city, was formed. She was far away." Taumel smiled and whispered though. "I'd welcome any opportunity to get out of here right now, so I'll give you the tour of this city. You'll need to stay close to me so I can keep you breathing down there, but it should be fine."

Esther jumped to her feet, estactic, and grinned with her entire being. "Yay~"

Taumel thanked everyone for the honour they bestowed upon her simply by being there, and then she left with Esther. However, before they exited the hall where the banquette had been held, Esther smacked Taumel's behind with force and digged her claws into it. It made the Ghosts whistle and the reefers mutter as they were all led to believe had picked one of the Ghosts over the painted or the krakes. That had never been her intention.

"I am so so sorry." Esther whispered through clenched teeth, her hand still on Taumel's behind.

Taumel slapped her across the face, then dragged her away from the gathered to the sound of more cheers and arguing. She teleported them to the shore that was closest to Zheler.

"So here we are, you know, if you were being honest at all." Taumel frowned. "I could have you killed for less."

"I was!" Esther shouted. "It was just a... ugh, it's stupid..." She rubbed her neck again. "They asked me to win this one for the team, since we'd already spent time together they thought... I don't know what they thought, but I couldn't let them down. Seriously, they talked me into it! I didn't want to defile a higher being in any way, but the threats of exclusion was just as real as you. Please, don't kill me, I'm so sorry."

"Let's pretend it didn't happen then." Taumel said after letting Esther repeat her pleas and apologies until she realized she wasn't going to stop by herself.

Taumel could at least sympathise with the reason behind the inappropriate and immature action. She was more offended by the fact that a mere mortal mind had tricked her than the action she had used to do it in the end.

They traveled down to Zheler, stepping into the water and sinking until they reached the city. The tour was the first time that Taumel wondered if there was wisdom in ascending a mortal so they got incredible power. If she remade her a bit, turned her fur white, perhaps Esther could be pushed to the front and Taumel step back into the background to avoid any future situations like this banquette. Esther was no idiot if she could trick her. It could just be that she had eaten too much fermented fruit though.

I was asked by Zilla to post this. He gave me permission to use his character "Emperor Bolt."

Oswald ? 25 AP, 2MP - Dusk City

???

?YOU CAN?T DO THIS TO ME!!! I?M A GOD!!!! A GOD!!! Emperor Bolt yelled at the top of his lungs. ?I need to get out of here and kill that imposter!? Emperor Bolt said before his cell door opened. ?WHAT THE HELL DO YOU WANT!?

-----------------------------------------------------------

Bjorn

This may have been the best day of Bjorn?s life. Not only had Emperor Bolt finally been captured but he had a chance to end the pain of his people. He could think of no better way of starting this day then making the false god pay. As he was walking to the Emperor?s cell, he saw a guard walking by. He told Bjorn that Emperor Bolt was ?sleeping in the shadows? before walking off. When Bjorn got to Emperor Bolt?s cell, he looked inside and saw his dead body that had been stabbed multiple times in the chest. Bjorn looked in the direction he had come from and ran back looking for the guard he?d past.

?Where the hell is he?!? Bjorn said as to himself in frustration as he looked into a room full of prison guards. ?Why would someone want to kill him? He was going to die anyways.?

Viera slowly wakes up in her bed, the room darker than normal and the bed under her beaten out of shape from the goings on of the last few weeks. Ever since her lover had been raised from the dead so she did not have to use her own powers on him and even more than that been given that golem body to use they had spent more time together than they have ever for such a stretch of time. A smile slowly lifts the corner of her lips as she sits up and gets up to order the books that had fallen of the shelf when...

That line of thoughts brought a blush to her purple cheeks and she quickly pushes it away to the back of her mind as she looks over the letters and books that had been dropped off for her my her lover while she slept. Going through the first pile where the more urgent things she set a few aside as they were urgent but not so much so they needed answers today. Getting to the last and freezing she reads the words slowly. The information about the heights were surprising and the creature they talked about was interesting, but when she looked back at the previous report from several different spies in the Heights talked about the creature described in the report talking and walking and taking down the 'Emperor Bolt' that had been destroying the land over there for 30 years. Narrowing her eyes and going back and forth between the reports she pulls the drawings they had sent back and carries it over to an old book who's leather spine was almost falling apart.

Pulling the book out carefully and flipping through it she holds the drawing up next to a colored stone carving that was being held inside the book. Smiling Viera laughs softly to herself and sets the drawing aside as she feels something walk in heavily from behind her. Keeping a blush back off her cheeks and pausing in her reading as it stomps over behind her a thick armored arm goes around her waist and she can feel it looking over her shoulder down at the book in her hand. After a few minutes he speaks in a deep but somehow almost hard to hear voice.
"So, that raving monster in the spies report was in fact the returned god Bolt. That puts a whole new spin on their report to us and explains why they gave it to us for free."

Viera nods as she leans back against the armor of his body and turns the page to look at the information that had been given to them for the book in the first decade of the disappearances, much of it useless but not a little was interesting to them. Touching one line she reads out loud one part she had written so long ago from what she had remembered from her Father.
"Bolt is in many ways a child, overly excited about many things and easy to get to get scared about something not worth the worry."

Skipping a few lines she says.
"He helped repel the android but was hurt, he is easily angered."

Stopping Viera and her lover look back down at the picture and he says above her.
"It seems the plans we had in sending a group of Jeri and leonin to the Heights will have to be put to a stop."

Nodding as she closes and sets the book back up where it is she turns around and looks up at the floating skull. Keeping her silence for a while he knows right away what she is thinking and can guess how she will start, but holds his peace. As they stand there against each other she asks him softly.
"Your alive now, you can use your name. I know you go around having everyone call you Skull but you had a name before you died. You can use it again now, you always said you couldn't until you were alive but look at you."

At this Viera motions to his whole form and looks back up into his empty eyes as she hopes he will reconsider now. Looking down at her and smiling slightly the jaw of his skull does little movement but the spirit around the skill does move enough so that she can see. He shakes his head and puts his armored arms around Viera holding her into him and saying softly down at her.
"The name i had died with me and will stay there where i died. If im going to have a name than i need a new one and out of them all Skull is just as good as any."

Frowning and slapping his chest Viera shakes her head and mutters at him.
"You need a name, not what your made out of. How about..."

Pausing as she things something tickles the back of her mind and as she looks it over it seems to be a ghost of an idea floats up. As she looks it over it seems to be connected to a spirit who was so faded that when she takes the name being offered it crumbles into nothing where even she can not call it back up. As she rolls it over and finds she likes it she starts smiling more and more as she looks up and flips her hand. A wide brimmed black hat in a style never seen before she slaps it onto his head and looks at him as she pronounces.
"Your Skulduggery Pleasant, a Skull of a good time."

Laughing the now newly named Skulduggery reaches up and fixes the hat as he looks down at Viera.
"Well, its half true at least."

Gi'zeal- 24Ap 2MP ? The City of Gi?zeal

Henrietta?s pearly smile mirrored off the polished marble walls of her bank offices. Nestled in amongst the vaults it contained more value in its walls and floors than most of the other client?s deposits. It had been her treat to herself once deals and alliances had begun flowing like the river
A pair of engravers already worked on the elaborate motifs that she had envisioned covering the room and it?s furniture.

soon the room would be an unending flow of images glorifying her and her most impressive clients , her wealth flowing into every detail of the aesthetics complexity.
She looked it up and down envisioning the future

?No I don?t like that bit, start over? she snapped at as the engraver bowed his head returned to the base of the ever narrowing pillar

Aside from the works there was only Kobkin, a gift from the Lord Protector, his employment was costly but it was well worth it. It was as if he had subservience beaten into his genes. Henrietta knew of the Coritas across the sea should they have been legal here the sallow Kaish would have been ideally suited to that kind of lifestyle. As it happened he was simply an especially ambitionless and therefore trustworthy assistant.

?That wooden Fey called by your houses and main centers of business again today? he said with the slightest bit of concern ?I believe he wants a meeting with you?

?Let him wait.? She said with a smile. Gi?zeal had appeared to her almost daily since her newfound skills and although she thanked him for it his demands stunk of hidden agendas. Oh yes he was clearly a god but he was not the sort who answered prayers without presenting a bill. She knew far too many men who skulked in the shadows to trusts a god who acted the same.
So she had begun ducking him, it was tricky at first with his ability to pop into her presence at will. But she had worked out that he was certainly not all seeing, hiding in the bank had been successful she suspected that all the wants and needs of those with hidden secrets and riches in the vaults acted like a screen to him.
She was sure he would be able to find her should things become urgent but for now they would play out their arrangement on her terms.

Kobkin continued ?we can expect thanks for the tribune sooner or later; reports say crime has plummeted since your recent efforts?

Henrietta smiled and ran her finger down the uncarved pillar to her left ?What did I tell you, people far prefer to rob themselves? it had taken little convincing to get most of the organised crime in the city to branch out into insurance against the disorganized it seems the threat of robbery made people pay out the nose far more than it?s actually occurrence.
As for those with more of a taste for blood or saltwater a collection of various privateer companies had appeared offering protection from pirates and the ever present menace of ghost division.
Although the thought the bookworm peering in on all her success made Henrietta?s stomach turn
?Ah yes our friend the tribune? she said with distaste ?how are our deals with her?

Kobkin had reached that point ?Ghost divisions stolen goods are still being bought by her to be re-distributed to their wronged owners, and there have been no major moves on her part in terms of the city?

?That?s good; perhaps in light of my recent success we should arrange a meeting with her and the lord protector. Re-discuss my position in the Mu? it was time for her to make a play to stand on equal footing with the little Di-archly that had ruled the mu for so long. Gi'zeal had warned against becoming a public figure for whatever his own reasons were, claiming that it made her a target.
But the way Henrietta looked at it was that she was already a target, now whatever player?s that wanted her gone would have to make their moves out in the open, a threat that would deter many lesser schemers, and perhaps some gods who wished to stay on the plains? good side.

?Let Sraker know his banker friend is looking to step up in the world. He?s always had a soft spot for admirers in high places. Hell his biggest fan is a god?

Gi'zeal- 24Ap 2MP ? The City of Gi?zeal

Goldeye looked around estate theatrically checking in every unlikely place as Gi'zeal sat sullenly on the balcony
?I don?t think she?s coming?

?I know that, what?s the use of an agent if they aren?t there every time you need them?

?well look anyone of house cicera isn?t exactly used to taking orders?.?

?Used to! I made her! She shouldn?t have a choice in the matter. I want her found!?

Goldeye raised an eyebrow
?Well you?re the god?

Gi'zeal stood up exhaling angrily
?I need my damn eye. Where the hell is your son??

Taumel - 20/30 Ap, 2mp - The Lucent Reef

The following weeks saw a decrease in hostilities between the two clans. There were a number of ships that went back to Shipwreck for one, but those among the Ghost Division who remained in the reef had been ordered by the Banshee herself to tone down their rowdy behaviour.

Taumel kept herself in the background as much as possible, but it didn't help much when groups literally went searching for her. She was glad she had her powers, because she could easily escape them at least. She spent a whole day once as a fish to relax.

Esther returned to her grandmother and leader's side. However, she had become interested in Taumel after the brief time they had spent together. Their meetings combined with everything she had heard about the goddess afterwards made her seem like the one she should be chronicling. Taumel turned down the idea without any room for argument though.

Taumel didn't want to go anywhere else with Esther either, not after she had lied and tricked her. She still felt stupid for doing that, but beat up those who had made her do it more than she beat up herself over it.

She began to have dreams where Taumel visited her. At first she couldn't make out who it was, but as she kept dreaming the same dream they turned into long conversations between the two. Esther began to take naps and daydream to be able to talk with her even when she wasn't sleeping.

Taumel told Esther more about herself in time than she had to any other mortal. She reminded her so much of how she had been once, and how she may have turned out had she not been abducted.

One night she didn't show up to their dream conversations, but it was only because she had decided to visit Lailesha in her dreams instead. Taumel told Lailesha that she would grant her a boon, any boon that she may wish for, as she had accomplished the task she had given her far beyond her expectations. Lailesha was noticeably insulted by her low expectations, but what she asked for was not more power or riches for herself.

The Banshee asked that her line be rewarded in her stead. She had everything she needed, and she could take anything she wanted. Esther was her one living heir. Taumel had been thinking about ascending Esther when they had been in Zheler together. It would be a fitting reward, and she wanted to know if these mortals were capable of handling such power. Esther was the first she had ever thought intelligent enough to do so.

Taumel went to visit one of those who had created a demigod, in the first age, to hear their opinion on them. She picked Ar'Guran since she figured he wasn't likely to attack her on sight, offend her or try to seduce her for that matter.

She arrived in the stone fortress where his people apparently lived, according to her network of parasites someone of his description belonged here.

"Ar'Guran?" Taumel said, raising her voice as she stepped from the dream realm into his city.

Ar'Guran looked down from where he had been sitting thinking about something on top of the fortress his body half curled around the buildings that took up most of the top when he heart Taumel call out for him. Sticking his head over the side of the cliff and looking down he shrinks himself as he climbs down the fortress and steps inside a window on one of the levels right in front of the other god.

Eyeing her for a second as he steps inside and considering he looks around at the surprised and slightly frightened others who were about and his frown makes them scurry away before he looks back at Taumel.

"Welcome to my humble home Taumel."

"Thank you." Taumel offered a smile, and then sat down on whatever she could find. "You seem to have been doing well for yourself."

"How is your people doing?" She asked, keeping up the pleasantries, but decided to skip right to the point instead of waiting for an answer. "How is this ascendant of yours? I hope she's not caused any trouble for you."

Sitting down across from her Ar'Guran looks at her a little surprised but answers her questions mildly, for now.

"My people are growing and good, 200 years has changed some things but over all they are growing like I had wished. MY ascendant... is doing well, she and her lover have been absent for the last few months but they are getting back into the work they need to. No trouble, but her views about some things are different than mine and that can sometimes be a trial. Why Taumel?"

"I'm just curious." She answered. "Someone has selflessly asked for power for another. A boon I promised to this person which she wants me to give to her descendent. It's a competent individual, but I'm not sure if such power should be bestowed on mortals."

"I've made up my mind, but it does not hurt to ask for the insight of another either way. You've had one for twohundred years now, so who could possibly be better to ask."

Nodding and looking at her Ar'Guran raises an eyebrow and settles back into his haunches as he thinks that over for a second.
"Not in the norm for the mortals now adays but very interesting. Someone like that would wish for those coming after to have the same power so I guess that makes sense."

"Good. No, it's not in the norm, but she's realized her own power by now. She wouldn't need me to get what she wants for herself if they are earthly belongings."

"I'd like to reward her descendant. This way I might benefit on it as well." Taumel smiled. "I suppose I came to ask for both assistance and your opinion, before I attempt to go through with this alone."

Looking at Taumel surprised Ar'Guran blinks slowly as he thinks that piece over. The comment about the original person asking gave him some inkling about what had asked but the second part was more interesting to him. The shift in her way of thinking made him think that the person she had chosen was impressive indeed.

"This is new Taumel, I remember you saying no mortal was worthy of getting this gift but it seems you found someone who was. If you ask for my help in creating such a thing than I will of course help, with a small promise rom you that I will have your help in the future for something of mine though it will probably not be even as hard as creating a child as this."

"By my ideals and standards, she may indeed be considered worthy. She has the intellect to achieve enlightenment of mind and character unlike anyone I've met, but she was born into the wrong environment to do so yet." Taumel explained.

"I've no problem with aiding you once more." Taumel nodded. "A favour for a favour, so it goes with these dealings and I knew you'd ask before I came here."

Smiling and bowing slightly again Ar'Guran sits back and looks out over the window before saying to Taumel.
"Ok, ill help you. Though I would wish to meet this person who has the right mind but the wrong environment before you raise her into godhood, since it would be amiss if I was not able to give her something... True."

"Uh..." Taumel looked him over and sighed. "I'm not sure that's such a good idea. I doubt you'd be able to pass by unnoticed among the reefers, and a dream might become a nightmare."

She thought for a moment.

"Would it be fine if I showed her to you? I can do that without much trouble."

Nodding Ar'Guran smiles at the reference to the reef and looks around before looking back at her.

"That would be fine, im sure its different than the mortals I know."

Taumel summoned an orb in between them, and filled it with visions of Esther taken from her memory. The Feyeath wore fine clothes for her kind, but the number of piercings and jewellery she had on her person was beyond lavish. She swore, spat and argued at times with friends in the Ghost Division. The only thing that didn't enhance the impression that she was another barbaric pirate was the amount of time she could be seen writing notes down, and talking for long periods of time. Taumel made the orb disappear when it brought up the memory of the night at the banquette, when Esther had tricked her by giving into her pirate friends group pressure.

Smiling slightly as he watches Ar'Guran laughs softly at the last one mostly seen before the orb was gone and he looks up at Taumel amused at when he had seen the Dragon nods.

"I will help, she looks like an interesting person. Call when you need my help then."

"I will return to my people, but I will do this soon." Taumel said. "It shouldn't be long before everyone feels it, so I'd expect your help then."

She gets up, bows and steps into the dream realm, wasting no more time to return back home. Once back at the reef, she found Esther napping again, likely wanting to have another discussion with Taumel. She snuck up on her and sat down by her side, so that she could begin the ritual transforming her. Taumel sent messages to others that may aid her as she began changing Esther's body, turning her fur white.

Ar'Guran 24AP 1MP
Era 26AP[after action] Moondira

Ar'Guran shakes his head over his last visitor and turns to jump out of his fortress, flying north slowly till he gets to the edge of the forest and goes beyond it till he comes on the ice fortress that had been used by the nirn from before. Slowing even more and dropping through the air the Dragon slides between two of the spikes of the ice castle and lands in the area just outside it. The ground shaking slightly under his feet as he does.

Era sits in a long chair in the center of her washroom, a long, icy white dress flows down to the floor . She hums softly as Miranna plays a small harp-like instrument. A loud thud and the tremble of the ice castle echoes softly. Eras head snaps up as she braids her ivory hair. She gazes out of her window and her eyes fall upon the large figure of the dragon. Calling to Miranna, she takes her large red cloak and surrounds herself. Taking a step towards the window. She smiles and thinks to herself.

'What could the Dragon want?'

Era walks outside, the ice slightly melting as she steps. She stops at edge of her courtyard and looks up at Ar'Guran.

"Well hello. What brings you to Moondira?" She hums

Looking down at the much smaller but still as powerful figure in front of him Ar'Guran leans down to look at her. She had made many different things in the last age, the times he had talked to her many creatures had been around her and he was interested. Plus unlike what he had said to Taumel he was unsure about his own Demi being a true daughter of himself so he wanted to see if this Mother of monsters was willing to join with him in this.

Settling himself down on the ice and looking at her Ar'Guran says.
"I came to talk to you, since I have something in mind that I believe you would want to do."

Era raised her eyes as Ar'Guran spoke.

She took a step closer and touched the familiar scales of the dragon. She smiled to herself.

"If you wish to speak you'll have to come to my level. It's quite galling to have a conversation with a Dragon that is at least 8 times my size. Follow me. I'll escort you to my chambers, where we can talk."

Era turned around and started walking towards her tower. The wind howled and Eras red cloak billowed like a bloody ribbon. She turned back to him.

"Come along."

Looking down at her and smiling to himself Ar'Guran remembers some things from the ship and as he steps forward shrinks down to just about the same height and pads after her. His head still above because of his neck he looks over her and past into the ice castle of hers.

Walking with her and past a few of the Nirn she had brought here with her Ar'Guran looks down a them a little arrogantly since most of them were simple mortals and in this place of two gods they were less than they thought. Stepping through the arch way of Era's chambers the Dragon looks around slowly as he steps in and can appreciate the way she decorates even if it is a bit bloody for him.

Saying over at her as he does look around Ar'Guran smiles to himself slightly.
"I was thinking of continuing what we used to do on the ship as we flew through space and maybe this time let a hybrid come of it."

Era lead Ar'Guran into her tower. She smiles as he looks around, different emotions flashing in his eyes. Era shoots her hand up and ice flurries fly into the air. Small snowflakes flitter towards the ground.

"My new ability amuses me." She giggles to herself.

Era smiles and steps closer to Ar'Guran. She strokes his cheek softly. Her fingertips hum at the feel of his rough scales. She steps back and nods, allowing the thick red cloak to slip to the floor. She stares at Ar'Guran, the breeze making her sheer, white gown brush against her skin.

"I could not watch my first born grow. I want to have this hybrid, Ar'Guran." She gazed at him with a small tear in her eyes. Blinking the tear away she unties the straps to her gown and let's it flit to the ground.

"I'm ready. But let me gaze upon the human projection that I was accustomed to."

Looking at Era and smiling Ar'Guran's whole form shifts and turns on itself till he is in the form of his thoughtform though physical. Stepping close as his own cloak fall off his shoulders the Dragon reaches out and.....

No, we arnt going to give you all something spicy to read. Get your minds out of the gutter.

Smiling even wider than before Ar'Guran shifts back into his small dragon form as he steps off the bed and looks down at the sleeping form of Era before turning and leaving the room, quickly getting outside and flying into the air.

Era opened her eyes and gazed at the empty bed. Sighing she stood and dressed back into her icy gown. Stepping towards the window she looked out. The sky was clear and the moon shown bright. Her breath was slightly ragged.

"Miranna, I acquire your assistance. " She bellowed blankly.

Miranna came scampering in and bowed at the sight of Era.
" Yes my Lady? " She whispered.

" I need you to watch over me. For a new child is to come."

Flying back towards his fortress Ar'Guran sends back a trickle of power to rest in Era as he does. Ahead of him as he flies he smiles as he gathers his own power and starts to weave it over little points both in the fortress and one a long way across the ocean sitting on a table. As he flies harder towards his fortress he drops his power over the points and infuses them with it.

"Send a messanger. Tell Ar'Guran that his child is here." She hissed.

Miranna called out to another Nirn who swiftly left to deliver his message. Era screamed out as a contraction radiated through her abdomen. Miranna quickly prepared to deliver her child.

I'll spare the details of the birth

Era lay in her bed, cradling a small bundle. She gazed at the creature before her. His hair was light, like hers. Half of his small figure was coated with black scales and his eyes radiated blood red. Era smiled as she looked upon this creature.

Leilani and Thumero - Yggdrasil

The Psion's eyes could see the light shift and dance as it touched the shadows that he was stuck in. The dirt, earth, and wood would crack under his efforts, but they still meshed his visions, save for below where he saw the world that he found himself in. Cries of panic filled his ears and bombarded his mind like an avalanche, as was He could see them with the neural web how the mortals clung to the floors and walls of their dwellings, ran for the interior of the tree, dug stakes into the ground and with ropes tied themselves to the stakes. Long minutes of fear and suspense ticked by as the reality of their situation hit them. For the Psion being this high in the skies was an inconvenience; it would make movement more challenging and the Psion feared that the forces that be would absorb the last of his existence.

He could see mobs of mortals fleeing into the temple while one other creature climbed inwards with determination blaring in its mind, knowing for certain that something was wrong with the Yggdrasil Tree at its roots... 'Wait, what?'

Thumero's eyes would catch the mortal falling in the darkness, misjudging the placement and stability of the roots in the shaded haze. The only light it saw was faintly glittering below in shades of azure and orange, colors it did not think should exist in somewhere so dark. Finally it made prayers to Arora, Leilani, Taumel, anyone or anything that could save him or take him to a better place. These repeating ad nauseum forced the Psion to act and catch him. Against the mortal's very wits, it felt its flimsy being slowing down and growing sick as it tried to lurch downward anyway. The sensation would stop altogether and would instead be pushed aside to a root that could support its frame. The experience felt absolutely chilling and only the otherworldly glittering in the dark break it from the tizzy and made to climb to the source of the light.

'What are you doing??' He thought to himself. But all of a sudden the mortal paused, feelings of grim confusion rattled for a brief second, and then pressed onwards still. It climbed for a good long time until it made to the source, an idol glowing in polychromic light; the one that stranger brought long ago. Its eyes were open and focusing deeply on something. Then it hit Thumero.

Seconds after the revelation the mortal had teleported before his very eyes, nothing but a cyan after-image in the dark. He would detect the mortal again on the surface and could see him running for someone, but who?

******

Shortly after Leilani had sent her people out, everywhere around Yggdrasil started to shake and rumble.

"What the heck is going on? It seems like an earthquake. Nissa, go tell our people to brace themselves for whatever is happening. Tell Helio to spread the word"

"Right away," Nissa said as she went and told people to protect themselves from this earthquake.

People were praying at the statues, hugging them, hoping it would stop whatever is happening. They kept praying despite Nissa's words. The rumbling and shaking kept happening, getting stronger until it just stopped. Leilani went around Yggdrasil to access the situation.

What Leilani thought was an earthquake was not the case. She saw Yggdrasil seeming to move up into the sky, the clouds coming closer and closer. She ran to the outskirts of Yggdrasil to see better. She almost ran off Yggdrasil in the process.

"Well it seems Yggdrasil is in the air for some reason. I was thinking of making it being able to fly, but not quite how this happened. But who could have done this if not me?", Leilani thought aloud.

Shortly after, a feyeath came running up to Leilani. " L-lady L-l-leilani! I thought I was going to die when Yggdrasil moved, but I was saved by some strange being. It had a floating head. Never seen anything like it."

Leilani imaged it had to be one of the gods who did this, she wasn't sure who though. Why would it just be a head anyways?
"Do you remember where it is? Show me!", Leilani said to the feyeath. Yggdrasil was getting to be pretty busy place ever since she came back.

The feyeath lead Leilani back to where he saw the head. It was still where the feyeath had saw it last. Leilani walked up to the head.

"I take it you are one of my fellow gods.? It's been so long, I don't know who is still around since my absence. Looking at the head armor, you must be Thumero right? Are you the one that made Yggdrasil go into the air? What even happened to you anyways? Might have been in some scrape to have nothing but your head left."

"I have no clue why I am in this state, but I will find the one who fixed me to this chamber. It will suffer as I have." The Psion said. A pause later came before the goddess' head heard his voice.

"What I have understood from the mortals above is that I was delivered here... somehow. Beyond that, everything is a void."

"So you caused Yggdrasil to go into the air? You still haven't answered the question. I mean I was actually thinking of having Yggdrasil being able to go into the sky, but this causes tons of problems for me. How do I make it easy for Feyeath and other races to go and leave Yggdrasil as they please? It will move all the time as well so they would need some way to determine where Yggdrasil is at all times. Though I imagine you might have some ideas for this? I could also help you with your....predicament until you find the rest of your body."

A pause as the words rested in the silence for a brief second.

"I will carry this structure for five centuries myself, but I will demand my release afterwards." His voice rebounded in her head. "This structure latches me here, and I shall not die here."

"You want to be here for five centuries? We will probably find your body way before that. It can't be that hard to find. Though if that is what you want, I won't stop you. Though I would need some way for my people to get access to Yggdrasil. Can't just go to them every time we see them."

"I suspect there have been mortals who have already leached power from this structure, and myself. This one here has those powers, and I doubt that it is the last. If you seek that kind of power, then finding these thieves should be in your interest."

"You seem to be saying some cryptic things I don't understand. Though if it involves power, I can always get behind that," Leilani said smiling. "That is something Yggdrasil can never lack in."

"Then let us begin with this mortal here."

The mortal soon found himself lifted in the air, and seconds later it started screaming in pain as Thumero bored through its mind for every bit of information it had.

Leilani just watched as Thumero did this. "Well that looks like fun. Realize I don't want to get on your bad side. So find anything of use from the mortal?"

A brief pause filled as the mortal pleaded for the Psion to stop. Thumero would pay no heed to these cries.

"There are others, and I can see them... Under a thousand of these thieves scattered across the world, if we are to believe its testimony. Binding them to the structure will both fufill your needs and punish them for taking what is not rightfully theirs."

The Psion's mind turned to the neural web that had been maintained throughout all this time, and spliced what fragments of data into the picture his inner eye projected of the world. It translated to nodes of light shrouded in a polychromic fog and made linking them all difficult, but they still had the power they stole from him and from the structre of the goddess as she gathered from the chatter above and the pleas below.

The question that comes to mind is how much power this covetous mortal stole...

"So if we gather these people, my people will be able to teleport to and from Yggdrasil? We need to find them soon then. It would make getting to Yggdrasil so much easier. So when do we start?"

The mortal gave final yelp before fainting; the strain from Thumero's ministrations being too much for him. The body slowly lifted into the air before resting against one of the branches. The head spoke.

"We can start now."

Thumero will attempt through the one mortal to 'create' 1000 mortals who can teleport people to and from Yggdrasil as it is aloft, and bind them to fulfill this duty [+6] Psionics go into this act as it involves some mental finangling between a sentient being and a psionic beacon of sorts like Yggdrasil.
