Ar'Guran, 28/30 AP 2 MP Thucho'Iro Heights
Bolt - 25/30 2MP Thucho'Iro Heights

Ar'Guran lifts his head and looks towards the entrance of the cave when he heard something outside. Standing and lumbering through the caves to outside he stops when he is half out and looks down at bolt. Laughing a rumbling laugh as he sees him.
"Well, it has been a long time. What is so important?"

Bolt goes to hug his old friend " It's good to see you again"
"how is it going?"

Ar'Guran flicks his tail back at the cave and settles down on the ground.
"Good, these mortals are so primitive its easy to change them into something I want."

Bolt looked at him with a smile and said "they maybe weak but they have large spirits. this one right next to me put up a great fight"

Looking over at the changed Keish and huffing he looks back to Bolt.
"Spirit and strength is different. What is important?"

Bolt grabbed the robot leg he brought and said "this"before throwing it to the ground.

Pushing it with one of his claws Ar'Guran shrugs and lifts his arm to slam his huge hand down on it, crushing it. pushing it away after he does.
"A machine, impossible to be from this place."

Bolt look at him and said "I fear we may not be the only ones on this planet"

"You destroyed it"
Ar'Guran rumbles and flicks the arm again, causing it to disintegrate from the force of the blow.
"And they are weak, destroy them when we find them."

Bolt look at him with fear on his face " were you here when the monster came"

Shaking his head he rattles his wings. "No, I was in a different part of the valley."

?no" Bolt said in a more terrified voice " I'm talking about the one who destoryed this land"

Ar'Guran looks at the terrified Bolt and shakes his head after a few minutes.
"No, though I do not see a problem with something changing the land. We can change this land if we wished, and all those beyond also. This planet is full of new places ripe for change."

"YOU HAVE NO IDEA WHAT THAT THING WAS" Bolt yellled "It was a monster as big as a Mountain. I throw everything at it but i was no match for it. this thing could kill us all with out even thinking about it and this thing right here look like it was made my the same people"

Ar'Guran snorts and shakes his head slightly.
"No machine will ever be a true match for one of us. Besides, your to incompatible with machines. Rain, lighting, wind. All things machines are made to resist."

"I know you thing you are powerful but their are somthings we can't stop alone we need to find the others"

"Find and join with them if you want to Bolt, but your different than you used to be and we are no longer as similar as we used to be. I do not want to join in a group I know I will not be leading."

"ok, I understand just be careful ok"

Nodding Ar'Guran smiles down at Bolt.
"You worry to much sometimes."

"ok thanks for the talk if you need help I will help"

Ar'Guran nods again.
"I will remember that if I am of need of help."

ather that Bolt started to walk back to his little hill

Watching him leave Ar'Guran turns to go back inside his cave when a rush of power ripples through the planet. Freezing at the huge amount of power that comes pouring out of what feels like several gods in the distance. Walking back out slowly and turning in that direction he can almost see what they are trying to do. A vision of two gods kneeling over a pregnant mother pouring their power into the child inside. Baring his fangs as he can feel them trying to give the almost born child into a lesser version of themselves. Opening his wings slightly and considering going to watch more closely than he is Ar'Guran shakes his head firmly and settles back down in the entrance as he can feel the power pouring into it not quite enough to guarantee what they want to do, even with the storm worth they are using. Watching them from a distance and lifting one of his huge hands he slammed it down into the ground again, spiderweb cracks going from where he had. Rumbling to himself softly.
"Something strong... but still young. It could become a threat later. Should I kill it now?"

Ar'Guran thinks this over and starts to gather his power to destroy this new almost god when he pauses and smiles slowly, laughing to himself he throws his head back. Gathering his energy again he focuses on the swirling power and dumps his own into the swirling mess. Pushing harder to force it to reach the child he smiles wide and feral, not stopping but giving them a piece of his power to create it. Laughing loudly again and saying to the empty air.
"Oh Arora! In the future I will call in this favor when I wish to create my own child."

assist Arora in creating a demigod as specified above.

The corruption in the creation will settle in his eyes and turn them pure back, allowing him to see and sense corruption in those around him mortal or plant.

Soul corruption looks like black flames coming from inside.

Leilani - 28/30 AP 2MP - Steelcoast Swamp

It worked! The Feyeath she "saved" bowed to her. They gave her some of the food and water they had on them. Leilani was overjoyed that it worked. With this group of 10 Feyeath, she could start carving out more of the swamp as her domain. She was lost in thought reminiscing about the future, that she didn't realize a Feyeath was clinging onto her legs. Leilani snapped out of her dream when another one grabbed onto her. Leilani was confused. "Why are you clinging onto my legs?"

"It's because you are our Lord and Savior", one of the Feyeath latched onto her leg said. "Without you, we wouldn't be alive."

"I guess you do have a point. I don't like it though so stop," Leilani said, with a harsh tone. They understood what she said, but still continued to grab her legs.

"But you are our Lord and Savior. You also feel warm to the touch as well," said the same Feyeath as before. Well guess my plan worked a little too well Leilani thought in her head.

Leilani let this go on for couple more minutes before she told them to get off her legs. "So more importantly, is there some sort of base or village you Feyeath have? I doubt you have one set up in the middle of the swamp. This part of the swamp is dangerous as you saw not too long ago."

"Why yes we do have a village not too far from here, in a part of the swamp the noxious fumes isn't present," the Feyeath that had been calling Leilani their Lord and Savior said. "My name is Helio by the way. Should have introduced myself sooner. You have to come to our village! Our people would love to see you."

"That sounds like a perfect plan to me," Leilani said with delight. So Helio and the other Feyeath lead Leilani to the village.

It shouldn't have taken that long to get to the village, but the Feyeath kept stopping to worship Leilani and cling to her legs every so often. Leilani tried the first couple of times to tell them to stop, but they just kept doing it. Eventually Leilani just let them do it whenever they needed to. She was just wasting her breath and didn't want to lose these very devoted followers.

During one of their worship sessions, Leilani felt a strange, yet familiar power far away. She focused her mind on this power and saw Arora in some cave channeling her power into a Feyeath mother. " Ah. so you're trying to make a demigod from the baby in that Feyeath lady? Arora, despite being all about love, would just use that demigod to further her goal which would not entail peace and love at all. I can't have something like that happening."

But how could Leilani do anything from where she was? Her domain was very limited in what it could do and the cave looked to be devoid of plants. Leilani concentrated to look around the room and saw moss growing on the cave walls and some mushrooms on the cave floor. Leilani smiled and knew what she was going to do.

Venari - Silverholt - 28/30 AP, 2 MP

As time went by in the cold of the caves the Nirn that he helped began to follow him on his hunts. Wearing less cumbersome clothing and moving slower, more carefully in the darkness. Though he hadn't told them that he had made them better, when he looked into their minds on occasion he had found that they realized that he was responsible for their tolerance of the cold.

They were ever curious of him and his odd gifts, though there were few answers he could give them that they would understand. Their minds simple compared to his, they would likely be confused if he tried to tell them anything they couldn't already determine for themselves.

After a short time in the caves he began to think again, how to help these creatures, how to make them more like himself. They could live in these caves, but as a people they rarely stayed in one place, rarely bothered to build anything beyond what they needed to live day to day.

Memories from his past self, brought a thought to him. A lodge house, and an oasis around it. A place that they could rally around within the caves. He walked amongst the Nirn to their camp in the cavern, a wide open space with a view of the distances around it. On top of a hill near the camp he began to let his power run wild. He visualized thick walls of impenetrable glass and ice and stone covered in images of beasts and men hunting them. He visualized a throne in a room in the centre, his. The mind of the man seeing it as an image of supremacy. He visualized a great fire burning in pits filled with neverending fuel that didn't smoke. And then finally he visualized fruit bearing plants surrounding it, that oddly wasn't affected by the cold and bloomed all year.

As he thought it began to rise from nothingness upon the hill. Forming as he thought it should be. And as he did so, the Nirn once again looked upon it and him in astonishment.

- Create a sort of oasis in the caves of Silverholt, so that mortals will have a place to rally around within the caves.
- Action is difficulty 9, with a cost of 3 AP. Total domain bonus applied to the roll is +4.

- Should have 25/30 AP at end of turn.

Thumero - Silverholt - 27/30 AP - 2 MP

The Nirn-folk have been getting ever closer to him. He could hear their stinging curiosity and certitude in their head as they plumbed the caves for riches now. He was certain now that they were not looking for him, but it still meant that there was little room to hide without risking an incursion. It would be better to leave this area behind for less curious individuals.

Plunging deeper into the network of caves, he was confused at a sudden stinging in his body. It confounded him at first, but soon understood it as warmth. He saw those red crystals his runoff had created and knew for certain that it would not be long until the Nirn would come here as well. He saw Venari - another of the escapees like him - at work. Compared to the others, this one had roughly similar ideas to Thumero. Whatever you are doing, I'll aid...

He took a seat on the ground, the metal armor clacking against itself and focused his mind on the enclave. The Psion with his energies would leave a mental imprint on the area, one that would linger in their minds the moment the stepped forward. He constructed artificial memories on key locations, so that those who linger or exert their minds would be swept into a vision; seeing something far greater than what they believed. Discovery, Power, Sactity; things that left a feeling of a goal in them, something to accomplish. As he focused, he did not notice the red crystals drawing energy off of him; only noting a clarity in his self-appointed task.

Thumero shall assist in the creation of Venari's Oasis, further reinforce the sense of protection and power, adding a sense of ambition or goal to those, and unintentionally creating those Psionic crystals I had mentioned in the last post. [+4] in Psionics should apply in the help.

As she was thinking she felt a sudden wave of major energy that seemed to knock her a couple steps back. ?Damn the other gods always up to making things bigger then themselves full of power.? She commented to herself, ?No matter I have more important things to worry about. For example I need more power ? I Know, I?m going to make some helpers.? She smiled evilly to herself. ?They will be magical beings that will do my bidding for me, as well as kill mortal beings who lie or try to trick me or my creatures. They will not kill you if you are truthful in what you say and do, but once a silly mortal decides they are clever enough to trick me is when their lives will belong to my tree creatures.
These creatures will be my protectors, my pets, my messengers, and my servants. They will bend to my every command just because I will it and forever be at my service. Extremely hard to kill yet not impossible as every mortal creatures do.

Lliant - 25/30 AP, 2MP - Steelcoast Swamp

Lliant smiled with joy as Un'dfwn emerged from the watery coccon. For a few minutes, they both swarm together. Lliant looked up and saw some spears poking the water's surface. An idea formed in her mind and she whispered something to Un'dfwn - a test of loyalty.

Lliant's smile only widened as Un'dfwn obeyed. With a mighty kick of its fins, broke the water's surface, revealing itself to some Feyeath, then dove back under again. The Feyeath in question were naturally shocked to see such a monster emerge from the deeps, the addition of some fish-woman thing being seen with it only made things more confusing for them,

Lliant had another idea.

Unlike Un'dfwn, she landed next to the Feyneath with a nimble flip. Primitive creatures. Judging by the spears, they must've been clumsily fishing with those things. How stupid. The creatures continued to stand there in shock, spears raised, as Lliant approached them. She put her hands up, "I mean you no harm."

"Then, fish-thing, w-what are you for? W-where did you come from?" One of them replied.

"I came from the deep and am here to help." Lliant said, "Does the deep scare you, or the sea, or what's in them? I can help with that."

"Big fish-things gobble everything up, especially at the Reef." Another muttered.

The first to speak elbowed the muttered and growled, "We need no help from fish-things. We spear 'em!"

Reef? That perked Lliant's interest. But before she could even ask the band of Feyneath about it, they charged at her. Lliant reacted without thinking and bound them up in watery tendrils.

Now they were scared.

"Tell me about the Reef, now." Lliant demanded.

"I-it's over there." The mutterer indicated, "Colorful, m-many fishes."

Statsified, Lliant continued, "Would you like it if you could swim like the 'fish things' do? Or breathe underwater? Or be free of fear from being gobbled up?"

The Feyneath nodded, they didn't really have much choice seeing as what the alternative was...

Lliant, seeing the previous method was successful, wrapped the Feyneath up in watery coccons. They would become more perfect, just as the sky-beings would've wanted. Lliant pictured their blessings: gills and swift swimming. The missing part would come naturally as Lliant planned to dominate the seas. As she pictured their blessings, Lliant entered a trance-like state and noticted something. Well, it wasn't something she could ignore...

She pictured a solution to it, brutal but necessary.

Taumel - 27/30ap,2MP - Lucent Reef

Avaline took the news surprisingly unfazed. "An immortal tyrant to challenge my leadership..." It was all she'd said in response to the grave news Taumel had told her. It was nothing more than a repeat of what Taumel herself had said, just moments ago. She wondered if she'd used too advanced words for a simple Feyeath to understand. Avaline focused on those following her now, giving them orders to improve, and they grew more numerous with the hour. Taumel figured Avaline could probably claim more than the central island fairly easily. It wasn't like any of the leaderless would put up a fight or argue.

"I shall focus on leading these into the future as a united front. This tyrant isn't born yet."

Taumel had to accept Avaline's decision. It was likely the best course of action for now. It was certainly better than getting riled up over what hadn't happened yet and may never come to pass. However, before Taumel left Avaline she felt the need to protect the Feyeath and her interests in some way.

She sent out a design to fifty of Avaline's loyal followers, so that they'd be upgraded in a subtle way that could aid the cause. Taumel meant for them to employ stealth while carrying out the needs of the united front. They could do the dirty work and Avaline need not be the wiser about their existence.

Ar'Guran, 26/30 AP 2 MP Thucho'Iro Heights

Staring at the direction where the still large influx of power is being used Ar'Guran shakes his head slowly and turns away from it. His influence will work or not, a gamble he is willing to do with the pay off of a favor from one of those gods who were all about the light. Still laying in the large entrance of the cave and watching his new followings running in and out bringing in wood and animals they had had such trouble dealing with before. Watching as one of the smaller specimens drags in something bigger than he Ar'Guran stops him by shifting his tail over closing off the entrance and making him stop. As the youth swallows looking up at his new god he can feel both pride at being able to and fear that something he has done has made this strong creature angry with him. Bowing slightly and walking over to stand just under Ar'Gurans head he looks up at him.

Even with the fear inside him he never considered looking down or away, the pride and ever burning knowledge that he had been one of the chosen keeping his head up. As Ar'Guran looks him over and lowers his head so that is just above looking at him with staring piercing eyes. The strong spirit inside and pride radiating from this small creature clearly evident he nods as he looks him over. Moving his tail out of the way and lifting his head Ar'Guran says down at the youth below in a rasping deep voice.
?Go deliver your meat. You have a strong spirit, use it well for me.?

The youth smiles wide and picks up the large animal he had been dragging, running into the cave to tell the others about being inspected and found find by their large god and to drop off the meat. As Ar'Guran sits there still thinking about them and this his new central home when he turns to look over the inside. His eyes roaming over the slightly cold damp caves that had been moved into along with the dozens more that stand empty he slowly turns his body around and goes to go exploring when he finds he can not fit in all of them. Growling low and shaking himself he slowly shrinks down, his body shrinking till he is 10 feet tall and double that long he keeps going exploring. Going from one cave to another and feeling even more behind some of the rocks he gets back to the main room and walks into the one he has chosen for himself. Laying back down and watching the Keish he had changes still running in and out he shakes his head. Laying there thinking he relaxed and lets the sounds of the caves roll over him before he lifts his head suddenly.

Looking around then at the ceiling of the cave he is in he smiles feraly and reaches up to knock down several dozen of the large stalagmites and as they fall and shatter on the floor he gathers them up and looks at them.
"A creature of stone and corruption, hunting and moving. Let it make the mortals and animals fear it."

Staring at the rocks in front of him he slowly moves them together and creates a large body, inside a dark thick blood being created. Forming it and using his power to bring it to life.

Era turned towards the rising sun. She yawned and opened her eyes. The young Nirn man stirred slightly beside her.

"Wake up" She hissed.

He looked up at her and nodded.

"good morning, Ms. Bloodwitch." he smiled.

She stood up and walked out of the small hut. A pulse hit from within her head, causing Era to crumble to the floor. In fragments she saw Arora and Gi'zeal molding and pouring energy into the body of an unborn Feyeath. Era could hear the small child's heartbeat. Then the pulse of energy dissipated.

"Screw it. I want to see what this child is capable of." She snickered to herself.

Era closed her eyes and chanted to herself. She imagined the unborn figure and poured her own energy in.to it.

"This baby will have the ability to heal itself and others with its blood. I will chase down my parents murderer another time. For now, Arora and Gi'zeal's child." she smiled.

Gi'zeal - 26/30AP, 2MP - The Lucent Reef

Gi'zeal collapsed backwards as the vortex of energy finally united into a singularity swirling gently around Felissa, her womb glowing most intensely. The amount of energy that had coursed through that mortal and her child, it had been astounding endlessly beyond what Gi'zeal had been expecting, far beyond what he and Arora alone could produce, and in so many different flavors. It would probably be worth dissecting their sources once this was all over.
For now it was taking his best efforts to discern if the ritual would produce a demi-god or a vegetable.
Still feeling ragged from the quantity of godly power that had swept through the ritual Gi'zeal took a deep breath.
Then had a violent coughing fit.

"I need some air" he announced to the cave in general "...and a drink"

Stepping out into fresh outside air he plucked a pair of thick skinned red fruit from a nearby tree, threw them from hand to hand and as the tiny organisms within rushed about the reek of ethanol and sugars filled the air. Stabbing a hole into each with his fingertips he stepped back into the cave, pushed one into the stunned Ajax's hands, took a long drink from the other then turned to Arora with a smile that looked slightly more weary than he felt.

"There you go, as much power as I can offer for your demi-god, I held up my end of the deal."

Arora looked up at him from where she knelt on the ground next to Felissa.
"Thank you. I shall wait here a while I think, but no need for you to remain too. And don't worry; I intend to spend as little time as possible in your debt... I cannot imagine the experience being particularly pleasant."

"oh no rush, I'm sure such a request is far beyond the mortal's capability at this stage. Take your time. I want this done right.
But if you don't mind but I have something of my own to deal with, I won't be long, would hate to miss the birth"

The Heartfire nodded, returning her attention to the pregnant woman at her side. She didn't look too good...

Gi'zeal stared at the still unconscious pregnant woman.

"Poor girl, even after everything that we've thrown at her soon she'll have to actually birth whatever abomination that's been created within her."
And stepped out of the cave before Arora's annoyed response.

Back in the grove between the cliffs Ada had finally dragged her sister away from the sea and almost to sleep, when quiet but persistent scratching had begun at the base of their tree.
she raced to ground level to find whatever creature was so close to their home, but upon descending all she found was confusion.
Across the broad trunk of the tree was a wall of intricate shapes and pictograms scratched deep into the wood, and amongst it's tangled roots was a pile of shining fruit, each with a small hole bored in it. The pile smelled rotten in a way that was rather pleasant. Entranced she raised one of the fruit to her lips.
As the universe reorientated itself around her head she stared at the dancing shapes above her.

They told her of her value, and of the value that could be drawn out of all things with a cunning mind. How with such a skill she could demand the respect of her tribe, and gain the love of her sister that was forever being wasted on her lost brother and that if she created and controlled such values she would be their better.

Throughout the night a cluster of Feyeath joined her, each tasting the fruit, reading the signs and experiencing similar feelings. By morning all the fermented fruit were gone, but the Feyeath stared at those hanging in the trees in a new light...

DC 7, AP 2 +4 Desire. Bless a small group of mortals (about 20-30) for life

The pulsing in Eras head grew with each step. She occasionally looked back at the young Nirn beside her.

"Why is it so bloody cold?" She hissed.

"Because this is a tundra of forever winter." He shrugged.

Era shook her head. The wind whipping around her. She saw a village and slowly walked towards it. She stopped and looked at the random glaciers that were rooted in her path.

"Dammit." She snapped.

Era took a pile of snow and packed it into the shape of a small figured mammal with stilt like legs. She cut her palm and dripped it on the forehead of the creature. It slowly sizzled and grew a while, leather like coat and large eyes.

"Good. I hated walking" She sighed.

Leilani - 26/30 AP 2MP - Steelcoast Swamp

After Leilani did her best to hinder Arora and her demi-baby making, she was back on following Helio and the rest of the Feyeath to the village. After two more stops of them worshiping and tree hugging her, they got to the village.
"We are finally here, Lady Leilani," Helio said. Welcome to our village."

What Helio said was a village was not the same definition Leilani would use. 20 Feyeath were just scattered all over the place. They had nothing for shelter other than the trees around them. Little Feyeath were running around playing with sticks and rocks.

"So where is your shelter, weapons, ways to get food," Leilani asked a bit perplexed.

Helio looked confused at what Leilani asked. "Our shelter is the trees and we use those sticks and stones to get food." Helio and her Feyeath followers she saved then went to worship her and start tree hugging her again. Several other Feyeath from the "village" also came by and worship her after knowing what Leilani had done.

"Well seems I've got my work cut out for me." Leilani thought. "Didn't realize how primitive these Feyeath were. This is far from what I would call a village. Maybe I could give them knowledge I know about plants. How they can make all kinds of things using plants for weapons, food, to even making shelter. That would be able to advance these primitive Feyeath."

Bolt

Bolt blessed the young Kaish so that he'd survive the ordeal. In the process, the young one gained the ability to foretell the weather, a higher endurance and became a loyal subject of Bolt who'd saved his life.

Arora

Arora succeeded in raising the child inside of Ajax' wife into a demigod. It was a difficult birth because of all the gods trying to assist or hinder it in some way. The cave had to be evacuated midbirth as a poisonous gas began to spread. The baby Feyeath was thought to be dead when it was born, but did eventually began to breathe and cough up water. His eyes were a pure black. The baby would be a demigod of +2 courage, with a drawback -2 narcissism. He would have a narcisstic personality disorder. He would be in love with his own image, think himself superior and in need of admiration from others, but never be satisfied. As there were a lot of gods interfering with the process, it would be impossible to tell who assisted and who hindered without scrying for the answers.

Venari

Venari created an oasis within the ice caverns of Silverholt. It would be a place for the nirn to rest, feed and recuperate at. The oasis would be surrounded with thick walls that had cave paintings. There'd be a throne in the centre of it all. Fires that never stopped burning, and plants that bore fruit which bloomed all year round. Thumero's assist would make the nirn feel drawn to the oasis in which they'd feel a strong sense of protection and power. Somehow, a couple of large crystals appeared as well close to the firepits.

Kora

Kora created creatures made of wood that would feed off of the lies of mortals. If any mortal would be foolhardy enough to lie around these creatures they would be killed by them, and their lies would feed the creatures. There would be tales told about trees that came to life and murdered mortals for seemingly no reason. Those traveling the swamp would come to fear them, a few even remaining completely silent lest they suffer the wrath of the trees.

Lliant

Lliant chose some of the Feyeath and cursed them to a life underwater. They would leave behind the lives they'd once lead, but grow gills and become quick swimmers instead. They were scared at first after what had happened to their bodies, but soon found new joys in exploring a domain they would never have been able to explore previously.

Taumel

Taumel updated the design of fifty Feyeath, so that they would carry out the dirty work of Avaline's united front. They would be close to impossible to detect now that they'd learnt how to employ stealth and camouflage. They would do anything to protect and serve the interests of the United Front, especially keeping Avaline alive. Avaline could remain ignorant of their existence, and to many they would be nothing but a tale. They would become one of the first orders among mortals. The black hand.

Ar'Guran

Ar'Guran chose Onix. Onix used awaken. The rocks that Ar'Guran had put together was transformed into a huge rock snake, one which would haunt the Kaish and the animals of Thucho'Iro Heights. It would move easily through the earth and sleep beneath the surface.

Gi'Zeal

Gi'zeal tempted a small group of the Feyeath with fermented fruit. They would learn how to refine what nature could provide them with and then exploit it for selfish means. They became cleverer and more interested in the bounties of nature, but only if they could gain something on it.

Era

Era created a tall creature with white skin and stilts for legs. What the purpose of such a creature was, was currently unknown, but it drew the curiosity of the nearby nirn nonetheless.

Leilani

Leilani blessed the small village with knowledge of how to use nature to their advantage. They learned how to make proper shelter and weapons to defend themselves. They gained a better understanding of how to forage for food. As they now cared deeply for nature, they tried their best to make sure they would not cause unneccessary harm to it. The very first thing they attempted to make was a simple and crude replica of Leilani. A statue they could hug as much as they wanted without the real deal getting annoyed.

Bolt - 25/30 2MP Thucho'Iro Heights
Arora - 24/30 AP, 2 MP - Ajax and Felissa's Cave

"Hello Arora are you there" Bolt said as he was trying to communicate with her with his mind.

There was a flash of white flame on top of a nearby boulder, signaling the arrival of Arora.
"Hello Bolt." she said, giving the spiny storm god a smile as she sat down cross legged in the small section of boasted rock.

"HOLY SHIT ! YOU CAN TELEPORT!" BOLT YELLED OUT WITH HIS MOUTH OPEN

The goddess laughed, tossing back her long black hair with a hint of pride.
"Oh, that old trick?" she said modestly. "I wouldn't rate it any more alarming than telepathy. Or cloud riding, for that matter..."

"ok, good point" Bolt said trying to keep his composure "how's it going"

Arora seemed to glow at this question, her skin radiating an overwhelming sense of joy.
"I have a child, Bolt. A son!"

"oh that what you were doing" Bolt said with a nervous smile before turning his head to his hill "do you know if the others are still alive. I've only met one of them so far"

"Gi'zeal helped me with creating my child, so he's here." she said cooly. "I also saw Taumel recently. The rest are sure to be alive; we're rather difficult to eradicate, after what the ancients did."

"I was hoping Gi'zeal died" Bolt said as he look into the distance "Ar'Guran still alive but he seems a lot colder now" Bolt then look back at her "there's something I need to talk to you about"

"You can always talk to me." said Arora, shifting on her seat of blackened rock so that she could relax into a reclined position on her side, head resting in her hand so that she could keep her eyes focused on Bolt. "I shall need to return to my son at some point, but for the moment you have my ear."

Bolt grabbed a piece of what's left of the robot's leg he was carrying and dropped it in front of her "THIS!"

Arora looked down at the scrap metal with an air of slight distain.
"I did not think the mortals of this planet were capable of such technology. Is it a piece of our old space vessel?

"This was not made by morals" Bolt said as he looked at her " this piece cames from a robotic monster, something not from this world"

"Like you and me." Arora clarified. "I do not remember ever sharing our ship with anything like this. Are you proposing it came here of it's own accord?"

"maybe, I don't know" said with a worried look on his face "but who ever made it could be dangerous"

"They could be. Yet it seems that this particular robot didn't pose much of a threat."

Bolt then look back at his hill and said "Were you here when the monster came to this land"

Arora seemed confused.
"No. Ever since the crash I have been looking for a mortal with a loving spirit, upon whom I could bestow the powers of a demi-god. I never had the opportunity to scout out Genesis."

" It was as big as a Mountain. It striped the land of almost everything it had. I try to stop it but I couldn''t even slow it down and I was knocked out." Bolt said as he walk up his hill "When I awoke everything was gone"

Arora didn't know what to think. Such an occurrence seemed unlikely to her; it could probably be explained by some foul deception brought about by one of the other gods.
And yet, Bolt seemed genuinely anxious. It seemed he was looking for help in that matter, having first gone to the Dragon Ar'guran.
"You fear that this machine might return?" Arora asked, sitting back up so that she could continue to watch her fellow god as he shifted position.

"yes and we need tell the others" bolt said as he scratched his face

"So your plan is to raise awareness for this immanent cosmic threat that you fear may try to destroy us. I can help you with that, of course."
She would most certainly be checking to see who might have played what she suspected was nothing more than a cruel prank at the expense of her good friend. No doubt about that.

Bolt look at her "I see it in your eyes, you don't believe, do you. you and the others may think we are all powerful but remember we were captured and tortured for years even with are great powers all we could do was run away" Bolt then turn around and looked down at Mrs.Flower "We need to remember that we can't fight everything alone"

Arora had never been much good at lying.
"What did your dragon friend say about it?" she asked.

"Same as what you are thinking, cockiness" bolt said as he started to water Mrs.Flower "you can ask some of the natives if you don't believe me"

"I do not doubt that you believe what you are saying." Arora said defensively. "I just can't help thinking that your belief is... Misplaced. We were the elite of the ancients; only they have the power to contain us. That would mean that this machine is of their creation, as it was able to withstand you, yet if that is the case then why have none of the ancients come back for us? I'm sorry Bolt, but it doesn't seem to add up for me. I shall still talk to the others if that is your wish, but do not be surprised if it is one of them who is responsible."

Bolt looked down at Mrs.Flower "Thank you for atleast doing this for me but i have to ask you one more question. which one of us could build giant robots"

Arora frowned, thinking.
"The Hunter is part robot himself, he could be a suspect. Thumero and Taumel as well; I'm sure their psionic powers could be used to animate a lifeless shell of metal (and need I remind you that the spacecraft wreckage gives them adequate materials for such a task). Leilana would be the only one to rule out completely, due to her aversion to technology, but it is important to remember that they may not have even needed to create a full machine. It could have been an illusion brought about by the psionic gods, Kora, or even Gi'zeal. Something to distract you while a much smaller threat ravaged the land.
Of course, I could not think of a motive for such an act. Maybe a resource snatch to sate the greed of a Desire God? Doesn't really seem like his style..."

"You are the one who can teleport go ask them about it" Bolt said as he turn toward her " and If any of them say yes tell them I will make them suffer"

Arora sighed.
"I can talk to the others individually, when the opportunity arises, but unfortunately I no longer have the time to actively interrogate each of them. Not with this baby to take care of. Besides, like I said, telepathy works just as well as teleportation. Surely you would prefer to pursue the others yourself?"
The goddess got up and slid down the side of her rock, approaching the giant beast and laying a gentle hand on his snout.
"And I promise you this; when you do find out who did this, whether it be god, ancient, or otherwise, I will help you bring them to justice."

"ok thanks" Bolt said as he lie down next to Mrs.Flower "I think you should see your kid now"

"I should, yes. One more thing however, speaking of my newborn... Do you have any suggestions for a name?"

"the baby new, call it Genesis" Bolt said before going to sleep

Arora gave the proposal some thought, before shrugging and disappearing in another flash of white fire.

Gi'zeal - 26/30 AP, 2 MP - Felissa's grave

Gi?zeal watched as Arora said a quiet farewell to the hunched figure, and the beach before the cave was lit in a flash of white flames.
Taking this as his cue he walked up beside Ajax, who was knelt beside his dead wife clutching his newborn child. He gestured to the lifeless Felissa and the coral fragments and shells around her became more vibrant with his movement, so that she now lay on a beautiful mosaic.
?I am so sorry.?
Ajax looked up at him with angry red eyes, but did not reply.
?Arora and I, we did not mean for this to happen. Arora knew how much you loved your wife, Felissa was precious to her also. Neither of us wanted this.?
Ajax remained silent staring now at Felissa, Gi?zeal directed his gaze to the cave where even still toxic spores emanated.
?This was the work of others. Powerful beings like us. They were angry that your child might be like them, they were threatened and insulted, and for that they tried to kill your unborn son and took Felissa from you.?
Gi?zeal felt Ajax?s rage and loss begin to take direction, keeping his solemn tone he continued.
?They did not succeed, but they will try again. Your son will always be in danger. He has is at threat to beings of great power. They are not like Arora, they are selfish, they are petty and they are fearful. They may try to put on a kind face, they may try to command you with force or even corrupt both your mind and your love for your wife and child, I know this because I am one of them. However they might appear they have shown their true colours with this open attack today and they will always be a threat to your son. You love your son and you love your wife, do not let her death be in vain, you must always remember her and do everything in your power to protect your son from those that took her from you?
A white flash exploded behind Gi?zeal. With a wave of his hand he added the finishing touches to Felissa?s memorial and turned to Arora, who looked up at Gi'zeal, eyebrows raised with surprise.
"I've missed a lot." Gi'zeal said, indicating the scene around him "But It seems we were successful. Were you checking in on one of our fellows?"
"Bolt called me. In fact, later I would like to discuss something with you in regards to him, but for now..."
Arora leaned around to the side, trying to get a good look at Ajax as she began to speak in a whisper.
"How is he?"
"He'll live, but the loss of Felissa might have destroyed him if it wasn't for that child, you might want to keep an eye on him."
"Of course." Arora agreed solemnly. "He will try to blame me for this, and in a way he would not be wrong. I never anticipated... That."
She gestured at the cave, still swirling with poison. Her voice took on a cold edge, eyes rippling as if they were generating heat waves.
"The gas, the water in Felissa's womb; none of that was coincidence. Someone attempted sabotage!"
"That much is obvious, we were attacked. Hopefully Ajax will accept that this is far from what you intended in time. For now the problem is ours. Who attacked us? they feel threatened by this new demi-god. It would be stuipd to think they wouldn't do it again."
"To be honest, I believed that getting you invested would eliminate any malign intentions." Arora admitted. Gi'zeal chuckled at that.
"So did I."
"Well it seems we were wrong. What do you think? Do you have any idea who might have been involved, or what we should do about it?"
"I have about as much idea as you, given all that happend it was likely mulitple parties or someone weilding an impressive ammount of power. It's possibly an alliance conspired against the child, we should be very cautious. A large enough scrying could reveal those involved but untill we find answers any god could be an enemy."
He looked at the cave. "Especially one with power over nature or toxins."
"Leilani..."
Arora clenched her hands into fists, but a moment later relaxed. She ran her fingers through her hair, taking a deep breath as she continued to put forward ideas.
"I assume you've seen the child's eyes as well. They're black. Solid black. It may also be worth mentioning that upon being born he almost died from a buildup of fluid in his lungs. That could have been a biological issue, however..."
"The eyes I don't know what to make of; they could indicate some alteration of the mind, soul, or simply be a result of our own powers. But I would suspect anyone capable of creating water. This may include bolt, we don't know how localised a raincloud could become."
Arora shook her head.
"Bolt would not do such a thing. Besides, I spoke with him just then. He gave me no cause to be suspicious. I personally find it far more likely that Lliant, the actual God of Water, would be the culprit, if in fact it was a result of devine meddling."
The goddess waved a hand irritably. "But enough of such futile accusations. What's done is done, and for now we have prevailed. What do we do now?"
"Yes all we know for now is that this child has powerfull enimies, and that they could be any one of our kind. For now I think we shoud simply make sure this child grows up safe and in our interests, at it's heart this demigod is yours so I'm sure that you have your own plans for raising it. As for me, there's a new center of power to the Fey on this reef, and I'm going to investigate it."
Looking out at the central island Gi'zeal walked away, pausing to look directly at Ajax. "She's with you always, but if you are ever truly in need, I will be there."
There was no response. Ajax just sat, holding his new born son to his chest, eyes bright from tears. Arora looked back and forth between them, despairing slightly.
"Thank you." she said after a moment, speaking both personally and on behalf of the miserable father. "And yes, one more thing..."
She set off after Gi'zeal, catching up with him.
"About Bolt. When we spoke it was to show me a piece of some machine that he believes to be extraterrestrial. Apparently a similar thing managed to defeat him and all but annihilate life in Genesis. Do you know anything about it?"
Gi'zeal kept walking, speaking dismissively. "Not a thing. In fact I very much doubt that's what happened. Bolt is a simple creature, it's not in him to lie but his version of the truth may not be... Perfect. For now we should focus on what is before us, our demigod and these Feyeath."

Arora - 23/30 AP, 2 MP - Felissa's Grave

With Gi'zeal the Obsessed gone, Arora was left alone with Ajax and the recently created demi-god. The silence was heavy between them, with only rumbling surf and occasional drip of running rainwater to break it.
The goddess approached the pair, sitting down against the wall next to him. Still she did not speak, thinking it best to wait until the mortal was ready.
It took a long time.
"His eyes..." Ajax croaked, voice hoarse with grief and minor toxic gas burns. "Why are they like that?"
Straight to the hard question.
"I... Did Gi'zeal explain what we think may have happened?" Arora checked. Ajax nodded slowly.
"Others like you, they tried to... Kill my child."
"Many of them certainly interfered in some capacity, yes. The darkness in his eyes is a result of that interference. It may be a curse, but could also be a blessing. It depends on the intentions of the god in question."
The Feyeath looked at Arora.
"God?"
"Well... Technically." she replied self consciously. "We are most definitely more powerful than anything else on this planet."
"Planet?"
"Yes... This world. There are others like it. If you look up at the sky at night, you can see them. What you think of as 'stars' are actually lots of suns, just like the one you see everyday, except they are very far away. Some of them also have worlds that they bring light too, just like your sun does here."
Ajax looked up at the sky, and for a moment his grief seemed to fade, it's singular focus eclipsed by a sense of wonder.
"Is that truly what they are?" he asked, watching the stars through the recently departed storm clouds.
"Truly." said Arora. "You know, this kind of knowledge normally takes mortals thousands of years to uncover. You're probably the first of your kind to realise it."
Ajax fell silent again, but at least now his head wasn't turned down with grief. The Heartfire remained patient, letting him think his own way through what must be an incomprehensible situation for him.
"What do you plan to do with me now?" he asked eventually. Arora thought a moment.
"To be honest, I'm not sure." she said. "What would you like to do, Ajax?"
"You're letting me decide?"
"I think it's only fair. I saved your life, but that hardly repays the mistakes I made with your child and... Your wife. I have great power, Ajax. What would you have me do?"
Now it was Ajax's turn to think. He looked from Felissa, to the toxic cave, to the reef, and back to his baby. Then he looked at Arora.
"I want to leave." he said. "Take me somewhere else. Anywhere."
"Are you sure?"
"My family, the people I lived with, they threw us out. My Felissa is gone! Where it not for you, this cursed reef would have been my grave. And now I learn that there are gods here who want to kill my child... It is time to move on."
Arora smiled.
"Good idea."

Bolt - 25/30 2MP Thucho'Iro Heights

Bolt was sound asleep on his hill next to Mrs.Flower when he started to hear something. Bolt started to raise his head and looked into the distance. He look into the distance and said "what the..". He saw a lot of Kaishs were marching to his little hill following the one Kaish that Bolt saved. When they got close they started to scream his name "All hail the great god Bolt!". they started to go up the hill as Bolt just start to stand up.

"Hi Bolt it's good to see you again" the little Kaish said as he rubbed the back of his head. Bolt looked down at the little Kaish and said "what's going on here". the Kaish looked at him and said "Um well , after you saved the village from that monster they started to call you a god and start to worship you and stuff and when I awoke they saw that I was a little bit different thanks to you. they asked me to bring them to you and here we are now." as the little Kaish was talking the other villagers were screaming "All hail the great god Bolt!"

The little Kaish asked Bolt in a worried voice "Are village was destroyed and we are scared that we will be attacked again. Can we stay with you?" Bolt looked at all the Kaish and thought about for alittle bit then said "alright you can stay, just don't scream my name over and over again when I'm trying to sleep". "ok" the little Kaish said with a smile on his face. "One last think" Bolt said as he looked down at the little Kaish "I never caught your name, what is it?" The little
Kaish smiled and replied "fang."

-----------------------------------------------------------------

later that day as fang and the other Kaish were building their village around Bolt's hill, Bolt sit there board with Mrs.Flower. he looked at her seeing that it was starting to grow old. Bolt didn't want to see his friend go but he didn't know what to do about it, Then a thought came to his mind. "Don't worry Mrs.Flower" Bolt said with a smile on his face "I know someone who can help you get better." Bolt then used his mind powers to see if he could contact his old friend Leilani.

Ar'Guran, 26/30 AP 2 MP
Arora - 24/30 AP, 2 MP - Felissa's Grave

Ar'Guran lays in his cave after his newest creation had left to hunt in the earth. Laying there curled up he reaches back out towards where the large amount of power had been focused, not feeling the influx anymore he shakes his head. Half closing his eyes he thinks to himself.
I thought I felt it finish but I can not tell from here. Should I go and see this newest thing and see what kind it has become?

Sitting there thinking he closes his eyes and allows his mind to leave. Flowing through the world and stopping away from where he can see Arora and Gi'zeal talking to a mortal holding one of their spawn with another laying on the ground. Still watching from just outside physical he slowly forms a body from the shadows and things around him as the god of greed slips away and Arora sits to talk to the mortal. Having formed a newer smaller body closer to their size he slowly steps from the shadows down the beach and starts walking towards them. Ar'Guran stops several hundred feet down the beach and watches, letting himself being seen by them both he waits to see what Arora will do before continuing forward more.

"It is time to move on."
"Good idea." said Arora, smiling. Then all of a sudden the baby began to cry.
"Shhhhh, it's ok..." Ajax whispered, holding the boy close. "Daddy's got you."
Arora, feeling suspicious, looked around and immediately got to her feet, white fire exploding to life in her right hand.
"Stay BACK!" she roared at the approaching shape, planting herself (and her fireball) directly between it and her demi-god.

Slowly walking closer Ar'Gurans thought form slowly steps closer and closer before stopping 20 feet away. Looking out of the deep hood and going from one to the other, Arora to the baby. Saying to Arora through the thoughtform his voice shakes the earth under it with the power of his own body far away.
"Come now Arora, you should be able to recognize me. I am here to look on your child."

"Who IS that?!" Ajax muttered, horrified. The baby continued to cry, black eyes wide with fear, for they could see the hologram as it truly was; the dense pincushion of a mind formed by corruption, of corruption.
"What is he to you, Ar'guran?" Arora asked spitefully.
She knew that what stood before her was merely a projection of the Dragon God, but that hardly made her feel safer.

Standing still and looking around Arora's body at the baby Ar'Guran moves instantly closer and sits criss cross next to Ajax as he looks down at the baby. Answering Arora behind him as he looks at the now crying baby.
"He is someone I am very interested in. After all, I could feel you from so far away."

Reaching in and ignoring the mortal trying to pull away the thoughtform lightly touches the baby and looks at its black as nothing eyes. Still crying and squalling in its fathers arms.

All of a sudden the baby is gone, snatched from Ajax's grip by Arora. She held him in one arm, the other still being enflamed and stepped back away from the projection.
"Ajax, get behind me." she commanded before turning her attention back to Ar'guran. "Ok you've had your look. Now explain to me this 'interest' of yours, because at the moment I'm getting more of a 'threat' vibe than anything close to 'interest'."
Standing again and turning to face Arora the projection smiles faintly and waves at the baby now in her hand. Ignoring the mortal once again as he scrambles away to get around behind Arora.
"I gave it a blessing when you were busy trying to change it. Can you not see the effects?"

Arora raised a skeptical eyebrow, the flames in her hand receding somewhat.
"You gave him a blessing?" she repeated thoughtfully. "Forgive me, I assumed you were among those who had attempted to kill the child. We have evidence of malign influence, you see..."
Something seemed to dawn upon Arora.
"The eyes... They were your doing, weren't they?"

Smiling slowly and nodding Ar'Guran again looks past the goddess to the baby and then back.
"Yes, I was going to try destroying it but then I had a thought. Those eyes are a gift, and he will be thankful when he is grown."

He looks over at the cave and walks to it, running the not there arm of his through the poisonous air still there before turning back to Arora.
"Seems you having a child is something many do not want."

"But some clearly do want it. Some like yourself. That much is comforting."
With her fireball fully extinguished, Arora handed the crying baby back to Ajax.
"I supposed I owe you thanks." she said to the projection. "We may not have succeeded without you."

Watch as she stops holding the ball of fire Ar'Guran says to her.
"I did it so you would owe me, nothing more. A goddess of the light such as yourself would not forget it. As he grows he will see the corruption in others, though if he should see me again when he is old enough to understand, I hope he gives a better impression than... that."

Flicking his fingers at the still crying baby. Looking at the body laying on the ground he stays away and ignores it after contemplating it for a few seconds.
"What do you plan with this... new child?"

"My plan was to bestow great power upon a mortal with passion worthy of my blessing." Arora explained. "In practice I ended up bestowing this power upon the son of the mortal I chose."
She gave Ajax a wink, smiling.
"What happens now depends for the most part on how Ajax raises the child, but I'm hoping the result will be a hero who could act as an example for future generations."

Nodding and walking back over the thoughtform stands close to the mortal holding the baby and looking down at the squalling baby.
"We will see. When he is older send him to me, I want to test him in many things including if he is worth watching."

"He will come if and when he chooses to come." Arora said sternly. "I will mention you to him, but how he acts upon such knowledge is his prerogative."

"He will come, if for no other reason than he will wish to see the cause of that which he sees."

Stepping back Ar'Guran nods at Arora and says to her softly.
"I will call on you when I wish to create my own child. At some point in the future. "

Ajax's eyes widened, a blush rising beneath the fur on his face.
"Ummmm..." he murmered.
"He doesn't mean like that, Ajax." Arora deadpanned, staring straight at the hologram with her arms folded. "He just wants me to lend some power to a blessing. Isn't the right, Ar'guran?"

Smiling wide and laughing deep in his chest at the reaction from the mortal Ar'Guran raises his arms and shrugs.
"I mean it in any way that gains me a child, goddess of love. Even one such as the mortal was thinking about. But a blessing is itself one way you can. Though I will be waiting for a while so that I can either gain more favors, or are less likely for others to stop me."

Arora's hand was itching to slap the hooded shade across the face, but it resisted. It wouldn't do any damage to a hologram anyway...
"You can expect my support in the form of a blessing, and NOTHING more. If it's a concubine you want then you'll have to content yourself with a mortal. Now are we quite done?"

Laughing still the thoughtform turns and drops a flower from shadows on the dead mortal and leaves. words floating back into the air as it does.
"I'll leave, but I will be calling when I'm calling in this favor Arora."
The presence fading more and the baby stopping its crying as it does.

Arora is silent for a moment, fuming.
"Pig." she mutters, spitting on the sand where the projection had been and inadvertently melting it into glass.

The thoughtform fading as Ar'Guran opens his eyes he starts laughing in his chest as he smiles. Lifting his head and looking towards where the Goddess of light was probably still standing with the with its newest child he bares his fangs as he says to the semi empty cave around him.
?These mortals, such interesting thoughts. If indeed she would give me such a child it would be powerful beyond what she has herself. Even if such is impossible for her and me.?

Laughing to himself as he lays his head back down and watches the Kiesh run around working.

Taumel, Gi'zeal - The Lucent Reef

Gi?zeal had walked through the trees and forests of the central island following the threads of featly and envy to whatever leader or figurehead the painted faced Feyeath had. It had been quite some time before the five Feyeath melted out of the trees and confronted him, and he noticed the additional five surrounding him waiting to appear out of thin air.

Dammit, he was better than this. He raised his hands in a gesture of harmlessness.

?Hello there, I was wondering how long it would take for you to show your faces? he lied.

"Lies!" A female of them shouted, and showed her teeth in a threatening grin towards Gi'zeal. "No one notices the black hand unless we want them too. All thanks to the great mind!"

She made a few quick motions with her hands, soon he was surrounded by the other nine that had allowed themselves to be seen. However, Laila still had a few up in the foliage of the trees that remained hidden on her orders. This creature was an odd one, so she'd brought as many as she could to confront him when she'd first gotten the report of an unknown intruder.

"What do you want? Speak quickly, for the black hand has no time for fools!"

Still trying to keep a friendly tone Gi?zeal stepped a bit closer
?The black hand eh, so that?s the group that?s taking over this reef. Well then I?m seeking whoever?s the head behind this hand. Take me to your leader?

"You're mistaken. We're not the ones taking over the reef. We are but a tiny non-existent group within Avaline's united front. The great mind gave us the gift of invisibility to serve the united front." Laila said, considered what he'd said and figured that at least the great mind might want to meet this strange intruder. "Very well, we shall lead you to them."

Laila did a few more gestures, most of those who followed her disappeared into the bushes and trees to scout ahead. Laila remained with Gi'zeal, to lead the way. It didn't take long for them to reach the center where the united front had begun and was at its strongest. She walked up to a white Feyeath that was especially scruffy and rugged. She had the same marks everyone else did on her face, but her marks were dried blood, not fruits or juice. Her ears had bitemarks of larger animals.

"Great mind, we bring this..." Laila looked at Gi'zeal with a hint of disgust. "Thing before you, as we do not know what to do with it. He wants to see the wise Avaline, but I do not think it a good idea."

Taumel, who had assumed the shape of the white rugged Feyeath, recognized Gi'zeal almost immediately for who he was. She knew most of those she'd escaped with by appearance. She'd made sure she would, if they ever met again. She wasn't certain he would recognize her in her current shape though.

"Well done, Laila. Now leave us."

Laila left the two prodigies alone, after bowing slightly to Taumel.

"Greetings, Gi'zeal." Taumel said. "What brings you here? I didn't know you were around here."

Gi'zeal didn't hide his surprise nobody native to this world knew his name besides Ajax "I noticed a rather outstanding group of go-getters rising out of the sand. Thought they might be in need of my services. but I didn't think I'd find a god leading them. Which one of my fellow escapees do I have the pleasure of talking to?"

"Oh, I'm not leading them. I'm simply guiding them on a path towards peace and prosperity. Avaline is their leader. I'm as non-existent to most of them like those you just met." Taumel said in response. "The leader is under my protection, however, as is the goals I instilled her with."

She sat down on the ground, crossed her legs and began to float upwards until she was at eyelevel with Gi'zeal. "The great mind, Laila calls me. Maybe that's a clue?" Taumel laughed. "I am no goddess for them either. That's why I eventually caved and chose this rather beaten Feyeath as shell."

Goddess, great mind? Taumel then Gi?zeal thought. Although he supposed he couldn?t rule out the mistress of lies.

?The ?great mind? I like it, it fits as well as it flatters your ego? Gi?zeal smiled at the hovering Feyeath. ?So what route do you see this path of peace and prosperity taking? Or should I speak to the "real" leader??

"Yes, well, it wasn't my idea for a title. And I can't allow you to do that, Gi'zeal." Taumel said. "Nor would the black hand. I suppose they couldn't do much to stop you though. They already picked a fitting name for themselves. The united front, and through unity they shall achieve more than they ever could alone, including peace and prosperity."

"very protective aren't we. Well I guess if you won't tell me what you want , I can't be of any help, best of luck with your 'front'" Gi'zeal turned to leave.

Taumel snorted. "Heh, so you think I'll tell our plans to an intruder? Why, when you haven't said why you're even here in the first place? For all I know you could be a spie or assassin." She doubted anyone had a reason to try something so low yet, but there was evil in the reef now, no doubt about it. "So, let's start with, why are you here?"

Still walking away he said "I came genuinely offering help, I know of an area rich in resources and populated by, well not "great" minds, but at least "good" minds. But your people don't seem like the types to make deals with outsiders, who knows we are probably all sharpening knives behind our backs? He only stopped just on the edge of the clearing. ?Speaking of outside threats, is your united front aware that there is now a demi-god on this reef??

"You should have said that in the first place, no? Besides, before long there won't be any outsiders in this reef. These good minds of yours will likely be taken in by the charismatic Avaline before long. Of course, a beneficial deal may make things easier for them." Taumel kept a pokerface to Gi'zeal's comment about the demi-god. "We are aware of the child." It was all she wanted to say on the matter.

"if all has gone as planned a group to my liking should now be running that grove. Have your people talk to many people, they should be happy to make an deal" Gi'zeal waited not moving closer but not vanishing into the forest "only aware? Such a being would pose quite a threat to your little cloistered leader. You haven't sent spies, assassins?"

"Very well, I'm sure someone will find them soon enough." Taumel shrugged. "Avaline isn't my leader, nor is she cloistered. She speaks to her people daily, walks among them and helps where she can. You're not one of her people though, so she has no business with you." She hesitated, not wanting to reveal too much. "You seem strangely interested in this demi-god. No, we haven't sent anyone to deal with a baby unable to think for themselves yet. Arora may want to plunge this reef into war given time, but we won't deal the first blow. I'll just wait to prove what she's truly like. Time should provide me with the opportunity." She laughed when an idea why Gi'zeal was mentioning the demi-god appeared in her mind. "Did you fall for her beauty, Gi'zeal?`Are you here on her behalf then? Did you never learn to disregard someone's appearance for their personality?"

That had shown her hand quite nicely, Gi?zeal had come suggesting the baby might be assassinated and she had assumed he was concerned for it. Well he was, but the only way that she could have known that is if she knew he had some investment in its creation. Well if she liked the idea, How far could he take it? This Feyeath better not turn out to really be the mistress of lies.
Feigning bashfulness he said ?I?ll regard or disregard whatever I want. But since you ask, yes, that?s why I am here. You seem easily threatened and it was attacked during birth. Arora is very concerned about your involvement?

"Oh?" Taumel returned to her pokerface like nothing. "We're afraid of no one. We've done nothing to anyone. I wish to lead the reef into greatness. That is all."

"Then you must agree that this demi-god would provide a far better leader for that end than any mortal, when he is of age of course"

"Certainly, an immortal tyrant is what any species needs after all. No need to concern themselves with his ideals, politics or any of that nonsense. Just let them reign whether they are able to or not. I'm disappointed, Gi'zeal. I thought you had some kind of intelligence."

"Well I would love all those concerns, and the squabbles they bring. but a demi-god would be more than capable and could provide an unshakable leadership that would achieve 'greatness', you never said 'freedom'"

"No leadership should be unshakable through such means. I never said freedom because I thought you could infer basic facts without having them given to you." Taumel shrugged. "Nevertheless, Arora knows nothing about anything else than conceit. Hypothetically, if a demi-god were to become leader of mortals they should be created by someone knowledgeable, wise and respectful. The mortals should come first at every turn, not the demi-god." Taumel sighed. "I tire of this, and I tire of the evil Arora is trying to spread. True beauty resides in this reef, not her superficial kind."

"And I'm tired of being insulted. Arora is a short-sighted fool but at least she has some sense of diplomacy, and knows two gods working in concert can achieve a lot more than one closing herself off to the world. I hope your united front have better philosophies than their gods, for their own sake" In a flash Gi'zeal was gone and a magpie soared off above the trees, silently cursing itself for losing it's cool.

"You both are." Taumel snapped. "It's an amusing logic, that if I don't work with those ensnared by false beauty and conceit I must be closing myself off to the world. After all, there's only three of us." As the bird flew away, Taumel laughed heartily and loudly to herself.

Later, at the grove

Since the blessing Ada and her cult of inventors had quickly taken control of the grove by controlling their supply of the fruit wines, the rest of the opiated population was easily manipulated and those sufficiently in their grip would trade particularly pretty lumps of coal and shells for additional wines and vinegars.

Now apparently they had visitors, with a rainbow crown woven into her hair Ada came to meet the painted Feyeath.

Laila introduced herself as a simple follower of Avaline, and explained why she'd come to talk with these Feyeath. She claimed they should join Avaline's united front for the greater good of the reef.

A larger tribe meant more potential patrons, whoever this Avaline was her offer was good. Ada agreed that joining them would be in both their interests, the abundance of the grove would be shared for the promise of unity and protection. However the secrets of her cult would remain their own, and their products to be traded at their discretion.

Laila was glad that they'd agreed without any arguments. She would keep an eye on this group though, as she wasn't certain about them just yet.

Gi'zeal - 23/30AP, 2MP - The Lucent Reef

A magpie landed down beside Arora, in Gi'zeal's voice it said "I was just with Taumel, she is very much a threat to that child"
Arora looked up from her reflection in the water, staring imperiously down her beak at the smaller bird.
"The Reshaper? Why her? She did not number among our suspects."

"She has plans for this reef and a demigod does not factor into any of them, anything but her dream regime she has labelled as unfit"

Arora tossed her head angrily, flapping her wings.
"By the ancients, I should have known! I spoke to her while rescuing Ajax. She mentioned no such plan, but simply being in the area..."
The phoenix calmed herself.
"Do you think she was among those who attempted to kill my child in the womb?"

"She claimed to have no interest in harming a child she did not know. but There seemed to be no world where her plans and this demi-god could co-exist. she is highly mistrustful, paranoid even. She knew of my involvement and she certainly wasn't among those who gave blessings"

"All the more reason..." Arora said, thinking out loud to herself before properly addressing the magpie.
"I should probably tell you, Ajax requested that we raise the baby somewhere else. Far away from the reef. That is why I have adopted this form, to transport himself and his son across the sea. Now especially leaving seems to be a necessity for the safety of the child. Though I cannot deny that I am loath to retreat from Taumel and the other offenders without some kind of... Resolution."

?I agree that the child would only be safe far from her reach.?
The magpie grinned, the mismatch of available facial structure and expression became uncannily sinister.
?But I have no plans of leaving?

Arora's eyes narrowed.
"You're staying here? At the reef? With Taumel?"

"Why not, I get my city if I follow on this little child's heels or not, and I can keep a danger to it in check right here"

The goddess shrugged her wings.
"I admit, that is not a bad idea. However I'm sure you can understand my suspicions."

"Of course, but look at it like this: If I am a threat you are retreating out of my reach also. if I really mean to help you then I can do that best by remaining here"

Gi'zeal was making sense, Arora thought. Besides, she wouldn't be able to stand living with the man for too long anyway, especially not if her child was present as well.
"I suppose that arrangement will have to do." she agreed. "Now it is best that I get going. I have left Ajax alone long enough as it is."

"There is something else I might do, while you leave to find a new life with the demi-god I could seek out those that tired to kill it find out why and if possible hinder them in some way"

"I do not want to start a war. Where possible I think it would be better to attempt diplomacy. And by the way, if you really do want to pursue this, I can make the job easier by confirming that the black eyes were the work of Ar'guran. He spoke to me; he claims the eyes are a blessing, and that he actually assisted the creation of our child. In return he wants me to grant him certain... Favours, in the future."

"Ha, the lord of corruption. I should have suspected he would be in it for the same reasons as me. What sort of favours? I will be a detective not a warmonger, perhaps I can sway a few of the attackers minds, but they did try to kill Ajax's child, what do I do if they are unwilling to make amends?"

"In that case, I would appreciate it if you told me first." Arora said, her beaked face twisting itself into the avian equivalent of a grin. "I would be more than willing to help you teach such gods a lesson in neighbourly etiquette. And who knows, if our child is old enough at the time he might want to exact his own vengeance. Whatever happens, and whatever I say, I suspect you'll end up doing exactly what you feel is right at the time. But do remember that two gods is better than one."
The phoenix paused, flicking its head irritably as the bird smile vanished.
"And never you mind what favours the Dragon asked of me..."

"Very good, then we are agreed. Best of luck in your endeavors "

Gi'zeal flew off traveling some time before landing on a near the central island
So the dragon wanted some part in this
Well, that could work in his favor. But first he wanted to know what the corrupted god wanted.
As he projected his mind Gi'zeal began toying with the birds picking bright shells from the bay for their nests, dramatically re-shaping them with his own image and perhaps that of his subject's.

DC9 AP3 -Creating a non-sentient species smaller than an elephant.

Magpie drakes
-The size of a very large dog (st Bernard, Great Pyrenees)
-not too bright

-Hoards:
-Food: They are omnivores and will hoard fruit, meats, bones and live prey
-Anything shiny or gaudy (including eyes).
They will bring anything like this of value and weave it into/pile it on their massive communal nests; this is of great importance and will become highly aggressive to possess these objects as...
-They have a pack like society based on hoard size, the pack will follow an alpha that can pile the most "treasure", and this includes mortals who are able to collect "treasures".

Ar'guran might assist and add some things.
