Seriously. Why the hell are people completely ignoring the fact that you have to pay to play multiplayer now. That's a big freaking deal, and you know they are only doing it because they know they can get away with it due to current circumstances.

Really, Gamespot? Unispired? Sure, it isnt amazing but comparing to the competition it is actually quite varied and interesting.

To be fair, you're reacting to what gamespot said; however you seem to be projecting it to the audience as a whole as well. As with all things of opinionated matter, one man's "varied and interesting" list of games is another man's "absolute garbage" list of games. Take me, for example. From that list of XBone games, I'd say you can go ahead and subtract out all the ones that are Kinect mandatory as I still hold that any Kinect game is and will be absolute shit...nevermind the fact that the Kinect itself is one of the bigger complaints about the system.

What I want to say is that people are starting to complain about things that arent all that valid, complain all you want about the system and how it handles the used games but to complain that their presentation was bad when all they did was show game after game (what I assumed was what we like to see in those presentations) is really narrow minded.

It just looks like people jumped in the bandwagon and just kept their eyes closed for the rest of the ride while the driver kept preaching about how the XBONE is a product of hell.

I want people to use logic and be able to seperate one thing from another (quality of a game =/= quality of a system) instead of just sticking with the first common opinion neglecting the idea of anything positive related to it.

Now I'm not saying I've read every thread on the matter, but it seems to me that the anger isn't about the game line-up, but rather the horrendous interviews and quotes that continue to flow out of MS. What we've heard is that they're perfectly fine with the notion that some people just aren't good enough to own their console and that they have absolutely no intention of reaching out to those people (specifically people that lack good, stable internet connections.)

When you've got Mattrick coming out and saying "Yeah, we've got a console for people that want to play offline" that is, people who can't get good/stable internet connections "it's called the Xbox 360", it's not only literally telling a pretty decent chunk of the market to NOT buy their product, but they're being total arrogant asses about it in the process by, as I mentioned before, implying that said people aren't good enough/worthy enough to get an XBone in the first place.

So yeah, I really haven't even looked at the game line up for the two consoles, all I know is that pretty much every spoken word to come from MS since the XBone reveal has almost been specifically designed to piss off consumers and alienate large portions of their target demographic. It's my understanding that THAT'S where all the anger and zealous frustration over the XBone comes from, not the game line-up.

Yes, the people have made up their minds. Microsoft is going to get the hardcore hardcore fanboys who have their parents infinitely deep pockets regardless of horrible decisions. The rest of us who game to play games, have social lives, jobs, friends (real ones, not Super Friends TM), and enjoy our freedoms are all going to get the more accessible, affordable, longer-established consoles. I for one already own a Wii U and while I wish I could be enjoying it more, I know I've already gotten my moneys worth out of it, far more than I'm ever going to invest in Microsoft ever again, and I plan to get a PS4 come hell or high water.

And more to the point: You listed exclusives, not total games. Total the PS4 has a back catalog of games stretching back more than 15 years to delve from, available at launch. They're exclusives, just not all new ones that draw people back to Sony endlessly (and Nintendo is well on its way to doing the same).

Lets face it. Microsoft deserves every bit of flak they get.

Yes. The games can be good on their their but they still REQUIRE you use the XBONE. The opposite will apply as well. The XBONE is still shit even if it has good games. But i guess you like to cherry-pick whatever suits you. So do I, and I don't find either list to contain any 'hot stuff.'

It is unlikely that the XBONE loses much market share from their primary markets, they'll lose a bit from secondary markets where the 'added features' won't amount to much. So cry about it while you still remember to, care to.

No just becuase there are twice as many of exclusives that I don't care about(even halo) dosen't mean I should overlook the vbox one doing all the thing's I dislike about the pc world while doing none of the good(other than looking pretty).

I don't think that's what the OP is saying though. As far as I can tell he complains that people complain about their launch lineup while that one does present a little more than Sony (at least in terms of quantity). I might be wrong here, but I would kinda agree though. We aren't really whining about what games they showed us even though we criticize that. We're just stuck trashing the console itself. Now I agree we might be bitching a little too much. That said, the complaints on the console are legit. They have told anyone who doesn't have a reliable connection to suck it, they focus on features that wont be available to a huge part of their market and the general attitude towards their fans is utterly obnoxious. I can support Microsoft by saying we are bitching too much, but not for anything else.

The difference is that Microsoft is serving us big runny donkey turds on storebrand white bread, while Sony is using fresh artisanal ciabatta rolls, heirloom tomato, fresh lettuce, applewood bacon, chipotle mayo, and just a thin layer of shit.
